- We added the Ecoflow Delta 2 Max to our van in order to have an additional 200 amp of Lithium power and 2400 watts inverter with simple installation, using thick 14 AWG extension cords. Please consult your electrician before doing the project.
GFCI outlets are generally recommended, but our airstream OEM outlets were not GFCI, so we replaced with non-GFCI.

He is definitely a genius husband but she is one in a million.
Thank you for watching and for your kind words. 🤗
I bought my EcoFlow for the same exact reason.
I hope people are paying attention. This was worth every penny.
I have used mine for everything from cooking to keeping food warm in transport to powering the RV when it in in storage to do maintenance.
Yes, Doug. One of the best purchases we have made for our Rv, hands down! Thank you for watching.
In my opinion, it’s a lot easier if you Tap the EcoFlow through your 30amp circuit breaker control panel using additional ATS and you can run all outlets and your air conditioner with your EcoFlow. When you turn on your the AC on your EcoFlow the ATS will transfer power from EcoFlow and bypass your 1000 watts stock inverter.
HI Jay, this is Vincent, the husband. I totally agree with you, Jay, but my wife has not authorized me (or trust me enough) to allow me to cut into the main house wiring for the transfer switch yet. She wants me to learn more about that process before attempting this endeavor. This is on my to do list; and for anyone who is contemplating this project, that is the best route.
@@vincentesq Your wife will probably be mad at you for not convincing her to use a ATS after she realizes how easy it is, lol. It took me a long minute because I overthink some of these projects and make it harder than what it really needs to be, lol. Keep the videos coming and thanks for sharing.
@@jasonhayes2778 he kept saying “ I am not as handy as Jason, let me just do the simple way”. 😂😂I will keep nagging him…..😉
Thank you so much for making this video that covers all detail. I would give extra thumb up if can press again 😊
Awww…. That is very kind of you 🤗🤗
Youre just a handy little lady.
Thank you Elizzbeth. 🤗Good to learn from semi handy husband 😂😂
UPDATE: We also discovered that if we keep the Ecoflow plugged into the outlet, and turn off the inverter while plugged into shore power, it will continue to charge the ecofolow.
Another great project , you two are amazing ! For husband and wife to do these difficult projects together and remain together is awesome . I’m sure you can wallpaper together also LOL 😂. !!. Im to lazy , I’ll just keep plugging mine Delta Max in to the outside with the 30-15 cord Airstream supplied or maybe add a cord to the main source inside with a switch to keep the Max inside. Keeps the Van batteries fully charged overnight. Need to figure that inside install out first. Vincent you’re the man and kudos to Darlene to get right in there to complete this. Great Job.
You are very kind Kingswood! We do many home projects also and still together for almost 32 years. Lol
My husband is also fine doing exactly the way you do it but because of me he had to do all this. 😂😂
Very informative and very clever! Thank you for showing how to add external power source from Ecoflow.
Thank you for watching and making comment. 🤗
Great video again!!!!
Darlene, with your electrical expertise , you should be able to shorten the flat extension cord to your liking…..
Thank you both!
Thanks for watching Doug! Vincent said he will get me a shorter extension cord for Christmas . 😂😂
You both are awesome!! Thanks for sharing....👍🙂
Thanks for your kind comment Jeff. 🥰🥰
Thank you for sharing this, I have an idea for recharging. Ecoflow has the ability to be charged by 12v directly, what you need to do is connect a 12v source from the battery main switch at the trunk to the ecoflow solar input. Therefore, you don't have to turn on the inverter when driving. and you can control the charging amp with the app, so you don't need to worry about overload.
Hi Jay, that is a very good idea. I will look into this.
@jayl1023 I use a Victron Smart Orion 12|24 10 (max 240w). It's some work but I know Bam Bam RV Adventures can do the project based of their previous projects. If I had to do it over again, I would've purchased the Victron Smart Orion 12|12 30 (max 360w) and used the menu options to fine tune the configurations.
@jayl1023
Question about your comment. First, the negative wire would have to be ran somewhere to make it work right?
Second, what’s going to stop the house batteries from charging the EcoFlow via the battery main switch which is located in the garage when not driving?
I maybe reading your comment incorrectly
So impressive! You guys made it look so easy! Thank you for the great video work and going thru the hassle of repeating your work! You made it easy to understand!
Thank you Tan. It is actually not too hard at all. 🤗
Very good job , love your video very detail and help .
Thank you Anh Randy 🤗
you two amaze me time and time again! keep it up!
Thank you for watching and encouraging us. 🤗
THANKS!!!
Thank you for watching 🤗🤗
Outstanding! Your DIY videos are fun, entertaining and very informative. Incorporating details and explanations makes them easy to follow. I'm so glad that you chose to post this video which was of special interest to me. You two make a great team!
Thank you for your nice feedback Tony. I am glad you find our videos helpful and of interest. 🤗🥰
Great for boats as well, good job 👍
Thank you Peter! We could bring it inside the house when the electricity goes out also. 🤗
@@BamBamRVAdventures it’s worth having just for that, in case of power cuts…
@@peterlondon2217 Definitely! We have a big gas/propane generator at home. I didn’t know how to use it during outage when my husband was out of town. My daughter had to do her homework with candles lights. 😂😂
@@BamBamRVAdventures 😂😂 Oh dear….no more candles from now on.
Thank you anh Chị, we got the battery just like your but mine is Delta Max. Look like you installed it during day time and the the time you are done with it it look dark outside :-) This is a very informative video and thank you for taking your time to make the video.
Hi Benny, we took a break to eat dinner and it gets dark so quickly nowadays. 😂
Would you please explain how many ways you charge the Ecoflow battery. Thanks for sharing! I really like the idea, use the microwave without generator!
Thank you for watching 🤗The quickest way is to plug the van into shore power. The second way is to plug the Ecoflow into inverter outlet while driving but it can only charge about 400 watts. The third way is to connect the Ecoflow to shore power.
@@BamBamRVAdventures Thank you for replying my question. When you plug ecoflow into inverter outlet, is it getting the power from lithium batteries? Thanks!
@@TheLockwillow while driving the EcoFlow and the lithium batteries are being charged by the alternator
