Hello everyone, welcome to my channel. Like so many others, my lifestyle changed due to the pandemic.
Before the pandemic, my families lives had become so hectic & busy that there never seemed to be a good time to travel anymore. Somewhere along the line we realized that our last vacation was in 2011. We decided that it was time we made some travel plans.
Then the pandemic hit! I no longer wanted to travel by plane or stay in a hotel. We decided that a bettter and safer alternative would be to travel in our own vehicle, one that we could also sleep in, cook our own meals in, vacation in. The rest is history!
However, the RV shopping process is not easy and required a lot of research. I want to share what I have learned along with my ongoing experiences and adventures through my channel which offers:
    RV tours / walkthroughs
    Camping destinations
    Hiking
    RV modifications & DIYs
    RV Cooking
    And much more…..
So I invite you to come along with me on this ongoing RV journey.

I want to share some value points of info with you, please be patient with me here and do not assume that I am judging you in any manner.
Just read through and then read any point that you may find of Value.
If needed reply and ask any Q.
      Thanks, here we go:
A paused shot that captures the View frm front to back interior is the most desired view.
The videos of these vehicles, largely by Sales folks, all seem to follow a list of individual components.
As a Mature Professional, COO and previous Exec VP 9f Sales (degrees and experience in Sales/Marketing/Advertising, I would like to offer a personal and professional key point of "Success in Presentation", (whether in the business of Sales or simply offering a Tour of the Vehicle) and that key is to:
Give the Viewer/Buyer an Overall feel of the Vehicle, the actual reason many are viewing on RUclips:" is to get an idea of "What the total look and feel is".
That is the 1st interest, they need to see the whole concept value, with time to establish a "desire to select this one", (then you can go through the details of the individual components).
I must have watched 8 of these and not 1 nor all collectively have given me a real conception of what it is like to enter and look at the whole view of the vehicle.
They all jump right in to the specifics and I'm just amazed because there are millions of potential buyers that are not given the "picture in their mind of the Vehicle" that's being systematically detailed with the energy of a classroom and we all know how very uninspiring the Tech and Mechanical Classes are, particularly for folks whom are buying for the environment of it rather than how many gallon of water is stored for showering.
When I buy a Vehicle or a House, my 1st reason is the "Look, Design, Feel".
That must be achieved before I spend any time looking to see if the stove is gas or electric, or what size motor and how many cylinders it has.
These vehicles aren't found on every road and in every parking lot, they can't assume the potential buyer "knows the Look, particularly interior".
Frankly, I don't want t9 waste my time with the details if I don't like or *don't know," how the vehicle looks - this the feeling of being in one.
I share this with to to give you an edge on the rest of the Video Tours".
Take 5 minutes and get in the vehicle and slowly pan the interior, focus on the Feel of it.
Every single desire or want we each have 8s for *"the Feeling of Having it."*
That should he the very 1st thong that is addressed.
Do it first, do an exterior shot and go straight to entering the vehicle the after the details are reviewed, do it again but interior and then exterior.
I would literally say, let's take a minute and just "Take in the Design" and the upon entering, speak to the Feel of the interior Environment, "Feeling and Design".
In the middle d9 the "Items List", (that is a need to know but it 8s so boring, and made worse cause all that do these go as quick as they can - they must have some idea that the need to hurry is a "Fear of losing the Viewer". (Wouldn't be the case "if interest 8s established from the get-go.)
I hope I don't come across as a scolding Teacher, Mom, or VP, because my goal it to clarify what I'm sharing, so that you actually understand and get the purpose, thus gain the value of the knowing 9f this.
It is painful to observe Sales efforts done incorrectly. There actually is a method of of Presenting Info for the purpose of Selling, and it is nothing like is done in the experience if buying a car. As a matter of Fact, that could be done in a far more appealing manner, and with far greater success.
Everything is about Thought Conception and Expectation .
      But that's another class 😉
You did better than 85%, but with these facts to can do 💯
Pace with ease, not slow, rather assured. Smooth, giving the brain time to register the Visual.
Feeling, it is all about Feeling.
That is the key that makes the Millionaires Club.
Not you have an idea of the Key, study the "Universal Law of Attraction" through The Procter Gallagher Institute and learn the What, When, Why, and How in Detail.
...and you absolutely can own the Company.
I hope you can read thus, 8 don't have my glasses on. 😶
      Beth

Great walkaround. I love the screen “window” in front of the kitchen sink. Wish there were cross breeze windows in the back, though, but likely not there due to the sliding door. And also would be good to have headrests in the back seat. Nice to also see an air vent in a side bathroom.

    • @Adventure-Mom

Yes, I agree they have really done a nice job with the sliding door screens and Airstream tends to use the twist out type windows and they would interfere with the sliding door operation. Thanks for Watching!

Belated reply on your review, and aside from your usual pleasant and thorough review of various Class Bs, I also really liked this Airstream a LOT. I have long known that Airstream has had a reputation for classy, top-notch materials in a typical Airstream product. When you pointed out just HOW many innovations and technical gizmos to be found within a rig that small--but still looks VERY comfortable--just reaffirms Airstream's stellar rep. I'm gonna be in the market for a B soon, and you can bet this Airstream model (along with American Patriot, etc) will be on my select few list that I'll be choosing from.

    • @Adventure-Mom
      @Adventure-Mom  2 года назад +2

Hello Mike, These vans really depend on what is important for you. For me, I do not need the large rear garage space so that eliminates RVs like the Launch, Recon, Revel, Terrain, & Storyteller. I want something comfortable but still off-road worthy. The American Coach Patriot FD2 is a very nice RV but does not have off-road tires and the lower valances would get crushed in the back country. I love the Airstream Interstate 19, but it has a lot of electronic gadgets (more things to break) and does not come standard with off road tires either. So for me, the Tiffin Cahaba is one of the best RVs that has good quality, comfortable, and is off road worthy. Thanks for Watching!

There’s a hitch on this van as well. It was covered by the plastic piece on the back. Underneath are 2 tabs that hold the plastic in place. Open those up, pull down and the piece comes off. Voila!! Hitch and 7 pin wiring.
The lounge seats are pretty cool, but I would expect the microwave to be convection and a nicer refrigerator. Not a deal killer, but you pay a serious premium for Airstream,,, they could make it feel more reasonable with those two items. Still a beautiful unit,,, like our Thor, nut nicer!! 😂
