We decided to upgrade the suspension for a smoother ride. It was a plus that Owl Off-road was in Anaheim,CA . We paid full price for the kit and installation. The cost of the kit is around $3063 plus tax and installation was $1700.
I have watched all your videos in anticipation of picking up my AI 19 X tomorrow!! Thank you for all the helpful hints and the super fun vidoes. I smiled as I watched you empty the tanks. ;-). Keep them coming as I'd love to see more helpful hints and tips.
Congratulations! I can sense your excitement 🤗🤗I am glad you found the videos helpful. When we were researching about AI19, there wasn’t many videos uploaded from actual owners so we decided to make videos about our van to share our experiences and upgrades for current and future owners. Have with your AI19 X and safe travels. 🚐🚐
Your videos are so informative without unnecessary fluff and your personality make watching a joy. Thanks for the uploads.
Thank you Pastor Joe for your kind words. I am not a talkative person so I can’t ramble on and on….Lol
After four years of owning a Winnebago Revel, I am finally making the upgrade to VC4.3. Looking forward to it....
You will love it for your Revel. It is still working good for us. 🤗
Thanks for this video. I love that you're honest and up front about how your mods actually work. It's sometimes extremely disheartening to get into a video and realize that it's a commercial for whatever the product is. You always make me laugh with your "Right, Honey" 🤣Jill......Nashville TN
Thank Jill! Right honey ??? …..Leading question…..😂😂😂
@@BamBamRVAdventures I understand that there is a "method to your madness" 🤣😂🤣
@@jlhump4749 always work! Lol
We appreciate the time you both take to make these Interstate 19 4x4 videos. Another great job - thank you!
Thank you very much Joseph! 🤗
Nice upgrade , glad it helped your drive experience !
Thank you Red Maple! 🤗
Hello. We just bought our first airstream 19 4x4 and are basically doing all the upgrades you all did. Thank you for the content and showing us all the information so we know what to order
Hi Timothy, Congratulations on your AI19! More upgrades to come. It seems never ending. Lol
Are you in the AI 19 Facebook group?
@@BamBamRVAdventures hello I only have instagram but my wife has Facebook so I will ask her. She was in the LuLu as well for the trip lol
@@atomic43 your wife has great taste! Lol
She can join the FB group because for sure things will come up and people on there are tremendous help.
Sumo springs, I really like mine. A big difference for the better. Easy to install, I did them myself.
You are handy! The sumo springs help a lot with the swaying.
Did you do front and rear and what part #?
Thank you for another great video!
Thank you! 🤗
Thank you!
🤗🤗
When this vans a rocking don't come a knocking . 😉
😂😂
congratulations for the new setup. do they mention after certain miles , all the bolts need to be re torque?
Hmmm…. He didn’t say anything about that. We did asked if we need to bring it back for any adjustment and he said No need.
🙌🏽

Love your video, interesting in upgrading our identical model rv, but, how you consider that Mercedez may void the warranty after the upgrade? I saw someone experienced and talked about this issue
Thank you for watching Anthony! My husband said in theory it would not void the warranty because of the Magnuson-Moss Act. Only if that specific part breaks down or that aftermarket part leads to failure of other parts on the vehicle then it would void the warranty for that specific part.
@@BamBamRVAdventures thanks for clarification
Make sure to check the bolts on the rear. It looks like the bolt wasn't marked either.
Thank you, I will let my husband know to check.
Please post update review after you drive a couple months.
Did you look into the 6.3 instead of the 4.3?
We are currently looking at the automatic one but do not really think we need the extra height
We did look into the 6.3 also but it wasn’t in stock and we didn’t want it too high either so we bought the 4.3. It is a little bit of a hassle to have to stop and change the setting. Sometimes my husband wishes we had the automatic adjustment inside so he doesn’t have to stop and get out to change and get his hands dirty. Lol
Thank you both! We have a 4x4 as well and looking for a suspension upgrade. The wind issue I cant deal with anymore. 50 mph white knuckling no more!
What other companies did you look at before your decision and if you had to do it all over, what would you do?
Thank you!
Doug D’Amico
Hi Doug, we like Van Compass 4.3 because of the adjustability of the shocks and it only increases the height a little in the back. Since we have 4x4 already we don’t want the height increase in the front and back by 2” with the Agile kit. I love the fact that it helps so much with the wind. That alone is worth the upgrade! Lol
@@BamBamRVAdventures
Thank you and I feel the same way. I only want the-rear sag gone for the height adjustment and improved anti-sway.
Thanks for the cool post!
Whats next?

I'm going to be envious of everyone's 4x4 interstate. We got called and told that if we stuck with the 4x4 order that it would become a 2023 and the features like blindspot would be reduced....We ended up having to switch to a 4x2.
I heard 4X4 chassis is hard to come by so everyone is getting their orders pushed back. My brother has GT24 4X2 and he said once he exited out of gas station the back of the van scraped the ground a little bit so he was very scared. I wonder if there is a kit that can raise the van by 2” for the 24 chassis. There is a kit for the 19 chassis.
Same with us in June 2022. We have been happy with the 4x2 that was delivered in July 2022. Very happy!
That’ll great to hear! 🤗
Did you guys go light/mid or mid/heavy and how did you make that decision?
Hi Jeffrey, they actually didn’t give us a choice so we didn’t know about it either. They just did the installation.
The Interstate 19 weighs 7395 lbs which is under the 8500 lb threshold for the mid/heavy tune. @@BamBamRVAdventures @jeffreybader3746
@@sempermarc I see, thank you for the info. 🤗
