@@trevonstewart3636 The base and the F Sport models will have same transmission shifting times. But the F Sport with Sport + drive mode may shift a little bit quicker idk plus I had changed the tranny fluid and fluid filter.
@@raafidk thanks. Will try it out one day, I have to pick the right time though because at the top of second gear its already over the speed limit in this country

Sounds great I just subscribed to your channel and I drive a Lexus myself but mine is a IS250 and I have 2 videos of my Lexus on my channel feel free to check it out and let me know what you think
Sorry it isnt a hellcat lmao. For 23k this is the best thing money can buy without a doubt and its going to gap most cars on the road only being a fricking v6.
That’s about 5 seconds flat or 4.9, not bad at all
I used my timer to see if it achieved its new record so it went 0-60 in 4.96 seconds. I was very impressed for such naturally aspirated power.
these engines have great potential but the transmission always holds it back. slow shifts.
The shifting of this car isn’t bad in my opinion but I know I wish Lexus could’ve done a little better with transmission performance.
you my friend have convinced me to want to get one of these, between what years should i aim for? I definitely want to push for getting the Fsport
13-15 are my favorite, I own a 2015 and love it. Most cars are AWD in the Midwest so it keeps up with some good cars.
Get newer ones. Interior gauge is better looking.

So do you like RRtune? Do you think it's worth the money?
Reason being is safe to say that reliability is top priority.
@@StarK12trd how has the reliability been so far?
@@trevonstewart3636 good question, it’s been excellent, no problems whatsoever at all.
@@StarK12trd is the transmission quicker on the f version of the gs? Do you know?
@@trevonstewart3636 The base and the F Sport models will have same transmission shifting times. But the F Sport with Sport + drive mode may shift a little bit quicker idk plus I had changed the tranny fluid and fluid filter.
Geez 7100 limiter seems risky but idk
There are other tunes available as high as 7600, but I had chosen RR Racing that revs up to 7200rpm so I mean not necessarily that risky.
Question about the car stock: does it auto shift 1st to second then will hit the rev limiter 2nd to 3rd?
When it was stock at auto, while at full throttle I think it basically shifts when it reaches 6300rpm.
@@StarK12trd 👌 can you make it bounce off the rev limiter if you turn traction control off?
@@drj2039 If you put it manual mode it should. In the IS it does so Im assuming in the GS too

@@drj2039 It should be able to in first as well
how does the throttle response feel vs stock? i'm not really interested in power gains since it's an NA engine, but power delivery.
Would you recommend the tuner and if so where would I get it
You’ll find them via your local motorsport shop or rr-racing.com
Does ur 0-60 differ bc ur in Oregon which is high altitude?
Not all of Oregon is high altitude. Portland sits at about 50-100ft from the sea level.
Is is just FBO + Tune ? No supercharger ? & what #’s are u making and is it noticeably different and would u say it is worth it?
definitely not fbo. sounds completely stock just a tune no supercharger.
This has headers, intake, tune from what Ive seen and its NA no supercharger
Does the race tune come tuned on the RR racing device when you order it?
No you have to flash you ecu and email it back to them
Does the tune give it true manual mode, or did the gs already have true manual
They already have it
How’d you get the traction control to stay off?
Hold the button down for 5 seconds
Shortshifted 1st
Why ?
Do you thought it was going to be 7200rpm in the 1st gear?
@@StarK12trd
Yes. Yes i did thought that.

how is this faster than is350?
nvm. didnt see it was full bolt on
Uh did I mention that it’s faster than IS350?
😂😂😂😂
I counted a little over 5 seconds which is what the car is rated to do so no not impressed. Waste of money 👎
Honestly it pulled quicker than when it was stock.

Bout a 5.4 that's pretty good for a v6 that's runs 6.0
