What a wonderful explanation of pressure shift and dynamic motion. David Lee of Gravity Golf was a leader of this balanced motion concept and you have integrated the idea into the modern ,powerful, unforced golf swing. Genius, thank you.
It can get complicated, but you guys explain it to a point of each individual movement. Now that can be paralyzing if you don’t look at the big the big picture. Well done 👍
Another great video from you guys! I have been watching numerous different RUclips golf channels but since I discovered your channel I've only watched yours, you break it down so nice and in the end ties it all together. Keep up the good work 👍
ive really worked on this exact feel over the past year. it is the most important thing to understand imo. get a medicine ball and just do the pivot move over and over and it'll click for you. great video, extremely good explanation.
Im a member of Milo Lines academy and love his instruction. I feel like you guys take Milo's action and break it down into very specific detail which helps me understand him better. I feel like its a great combination!
You two are really great. I learned about Elite Golf from Milo, and it's clear why he showcased your methods. They take a little bit of effort (and a lot of practice) to understand, but once you get it, nothing but crisp and pure strikes follow. And the distance isn't too shabby 😂! I have long legs with a really short torso, so creating space/sidebend was always difficult. With the correct methods, creating space is easy!! Thanks for helping this weekend hack enjoy the game!
Wow I’ve been working on this move at the driving range and it works beautifully. In your video you explain in details what I was looking for and working on. Thank you I can’t wait what back to the practice ground to work on this. 👌😎

Great job as usual guys. What I love about the systems based approach is because of how the match ups work when you correct one thing a series of things fall into place. Keep up the great work guys.
As a former hacker and observer of hackers! the No 1 reason why they have no space in the impact area is a mental one! They are terrified of embarrasing themselves by missing/topping,duffing etc the Ball there no 1 priority is to hit, usually at the ball I solved this problem early on by working on golf related co-ordination drills eg clipping range peg with continuous 1/2 swings feet close together, the doing it with eyes shut! Plus every good golfer that ever lived can bounce a ball on a wedge,i learnt too! Then they can fully benefit from your great teaching i have!
More gold. A great explanation of what the lead leg should be doing in this pattern. Like TJ I get the odd hosel Olazabal when swinging slowly, or when warming up. Looking at my video footage it’s when that lead leg goes down in the takeaway.
Great content and explanation as always.. just feel like I’ve had a light bulb moment after watching that and linking to the ‘wax on, wax off’ short that helped me last week during a bad round and to get feel back.. just having a quick practice of the figure 8 feet pressure, feels so good and am excited. Thanks guys, you’ve really helped my game.
the sequence took me a good 20x and a step by step motion drill to get comfortable with but once i did, i never felt such a free flowing, body safe swing in my life. The results so far are decent as I continue to drill this home. I didn't hit the 'big bad miss.' One question tho- you're saying the pivot point on the downswing is the trail hip, but why isn't it more of a 'pulling feeling' from the front hip as we've been taught from forever ago?
Great news!! Keep grinding my man! Also, the lead hip does ‘pull’ in a way to bounce spiral lines. The main locomotion for rotation in our system is through the upper spiral line
Interested to see a video from you guys on the body setup at the start of the swing. In particular, I'm interested in how you would like to see the pelvis set up. I know GOATA is big on back chain dominance, and in some of your drills it seems like you guys favour anterior pelvic tilt, however I'm not sure whether setting up with APT is a good idea and could lead to some lower back issues (jumping and tilting) e.g. Zalatoris.
Totally agreed! The best video. I just found this channel and only this video is better than 1000 other videos i have seen. Do you guys do any remote lessons of I send videos or something? 😄💪
This is going to take some doing but I know it will payoff. I have a very slow backswing and I’m thinking that will good to ingrain the sequencing you show. Good stuff!
Great instruction, as always. Two questions: 1) When exploding vertically out of that load into the front leg during transition, how can I do that without early extending my hips? 2) In the views of moving through the strike when TJ is pushing off that front leg and pivoting around his right hip, it looks like he really leans back. Is that correct?
@@maxraphael9890 1) extension should come from the top and work its way down not from the ground up 2) the only reason the com of the pelvis would ever pivot away from target is to accommodate for the ribs moving target bias 👍
This video is probably the most trippy yet. I was tought the opposite of this. Boy, not invading the space is a huge ahh haa moment. This combined with the upper spirals PULLING the hip complex's. Thank you. The timing is excellent as I was having mixed results with a focus on recentering. I would have some excellent, as good as I could hit it, shots mixed in with some of those catastrophic shots getting dumped under (stuck) and off balance. I already grabbed a club from the garage and will be doing some rehearsals. I was wondering if I was moving too much laterally and it was causing some problems with low-point. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
My question is, on the through swing, downswing, how do you pivot on the trail hip and side AND not keep your weight and pressure on the trail hip, leg and foot?? Isn't this a "reverse" pivot? Doesn't the weight/pressure need to be on the lead side through impact? I'm Confused.
When you talk about the hit instead of swing, it seems right hand plays a significant role during the impact. I was taught to take the right hand off completely and I was swinging ok just with my left hand. When I try to enage my right hand, my swing breaks down( I start to pull with my right hand). Hope you would show us some drill to eradicate right hand pulling.
So sorry but could you elaborate on the concept you're looking to understand more?? Is it the term hosel or how to not hit the hosel by creating space ??

It definitely won’t go into full extension, however, a bit of extension compared to the address position will typically happen
