As a regular passenger with Ryanair, the myth about their heavy landings is overrated. Yes, one or two are more like an organized crash than a landing, but on the whole they are not bad. I love the 737-800, not so keen on the Airbus A320 operated by Lauda Europe on some Ryanair routes. Great video!
I flew with Ryan Air last month when I was in Europe and it’s a good experience I was expecting everything to be a mess like what people say and it was smooth.
Is it true that Ryan Air has a reputation for heavy landings? That one looked a bit heavy. These are seriously worked planes not necessarily in miles but definitely in the amount of take offs/landings. Fantastic airline and long may its excellent safety record last.
Because Ryanair is a very low cost airline, a go around or touch and go would cost them a lot, so they try to always land on the first try, that’s why Ryanair is famous for the harder landings.
@@TheMightySpotter Not true. Ryanair encourages go-arounds in their SOP. Everywhere it says "Dont press on, press TOGA" :-) The reason for the firm landings is simple. In Ryanair, we fly these planes to perfection. A safe landing is a landing on the speed, on the centerline, and on the aiming point within the touchdown zone. These 3 criteria are important to mitigate runway excursions, loss of control on the ground ect ect. Therefore, we prioritize getting the plane down safely. We would rather want people talking about firm landings, than being afraid that we will do runway excursions, or not being a safe airline. :-) Then again, I can find myself guilty of aiming for a smooth touchdown, when its CAVOK, no winds and maybe 3200m of runway. :-)) Have a nice day, and thank you for the nice video.

*How to get a job at Ryanair* Step 1: Bring in a basket of blueberry muffins, MUST BE BLUEBERRY Step 2: Say pretty please with a blueberry on top (Btw ryanair loves blueberrys)

that is illegal, ILLEGAL I SAY
Stop making fun of Ryanair.
Nice
is there some differences in terms of noise about the 737 with pip and the others without it?
Not so much difference in noise but the pip version will travel much further, this is because of improved aero.
Imagine Ryanair pilots flying A380
Im gonna be a pilot at ryanair😎💛
Can you decide me which airline I should work for when I grow up?Ryanair or Jet2.
