On HP, it seems like Downunder variants are getting bumped down, but not as badly as EU where it's about 450 HP for the Dark Horse. Glad to see that you're enjoying your Dark Horse. I might have to settle for a GT, and a Mach 4 Sedan (if that reveal comes to fruition!).
Hey bro, do you have any insight into the variation between the us car and aus delivered Dark Horse Mustang. Engine parts etc any information would be appreciated. As far as i understand there is a little less hp and different manifolds on our cars. Cheers bro Love the car hope you are enjoying it
It's standard. The appearance pack is a black roof and purple inserts on the seats from my understanding. Valiant preferred not to have the purple seat inserts and with a black car the black roof option did not make sense.
@@Project3300andStuff...Oh ok damn. The upgrade in horsepower originally was so low this makes it even worse. Getting mine delivered next week lets see how it is. Since theres an edit to the exhaust because of this, is there a change in sound?
@@ishke2994 to my knowledge, the down grade in HP is due to a different manifold in Australia than the US. The Dark Horse should be around 486HP? here in Australia. The Dark Horse has the active exhaust so i believe it should sound pretty much the same as the US? Having said that, you can mod it a bit to increase the horse power and get better sound also. I have ordered and received the new AWE Switch path quad exhaust with black diamond tip ( from Scuderia - Autoart in Artarman NSW ) which will give me at least an extra 8 to 10 horse power & better sound. i am also looking at the Herrods headers as they are coming out soon and that could give me an extra 30 HP approx? i will also be looking at cold air intakes as this will let the car breath & run better and also increase HP. The ultimate would be to Whipple supercharge it or get the Ford Performance supercharger fitted and you can still maintain your warranty, but i believe to supercharge it would be very expensive. I am still waiting for my car to arrive which is in sometime November.

Nice, I ordered one in March 2024 and was told it was being built in May but since then nothing.....6 to 9 mths they said its now 8 mths

When you say the reduced the power is that of HP? If so how much was it decreased by?
I believe it narrows the gap to the GT so you have an extra 6-8 HP compared to the GT.
