I just won one of these from Orange (haven't received it yet) and have watching all the videos that I can find. This is easily the best and the only one that didn't leave me confused, so far !! Well done and thanks.
Saw that pedal before, and before magicians from ampTweaker released TightFuzzPro I thought that this orangebox will be Best 2015 Drive Pedal, now I'm not SO sure, but pretty much. Also - one of the few adequately sounding parametric EQ
Thanks Tone King for a decent review of this unit, most reviews have been done by people who are addicted to digital generic sterilized over compressed sounds.
Isn't the price tag of that pedal like almost 400 dollars? If so,then i'd just get a Boss Gt-100 and call it a day. But it appears to have some sound flexabillity. but this guitar or amp used;did not show the pedals full potential. Maybe he doesn't like his sounds that saturated? Maybe? But i liked the depth of the sound he did dial in;but it wasn't saturated enough for me.
thanks for the response. i know people can get busy. i have a day job of 60 hours a week, record in my studio, have 2 kids, run 4 youtube channels, film, edit, and also do a podcast weekly, with editing. i somehow make time for everyone via response. no big deal. i vowed to respond to everyone. i have tried 4 times in the last 6 months, with no response, which is why i ask. thanks again.

I just got one used. Great pedal...took some getting used to, but I know how to work Orange well.

could you run it straight into a power amp?

Dude. You compared that plastic fantastic sound of gt100 with this beast.
Please consider at least provide a 100% dry NON reverb amp tone. That's a lot of verb that washes out the tone IMO. Thanks.
