Welcome back to ProGuitarShop and ToneReport, today we're getting a look at the Bax Bangeetar fron Orange. The Bangeetar's name is derived from Baxandall, a generous type of EQ circuit that lends itself well to stompbox applications. The Bangeetar's deep EQ circuit is accentuated by its dedication to controllable mids, letting players adjust the Q and center frequency of the band so that players never get lost in the mix again. The sheer gain of the Bangeetar is not to be trifled with, as cranking the Gain knob launches a full-frontal assault on your amp, pushing it into the red with the quickness, and when coupled with the separate footswitchable clean boost, the gain slams into your amp like a comet, delivering some of the hottest Orange preamp tones on record. To accomplish its tone, the Bageetar accepts a standard nine-volt plug but the voltage is internally converted to 18, which rounds out the sound and makes it more amp-like. On the left, you'll find a precision-voiced cab sim port, which is engineered to resemble an Orange 4x12 cab loaded with Celestion G12Hs. - Видеоклипы
Absolute Pro Guitarist. When people play with their fingers and no pick like Andy, Jeff beck, and Robby Krieger, it kind of Blows my mind. It almost makes me feel like using a pick is wrong.
Damn. Love that tone! Thanks for the demo!
I miss the original intro "I have a G&L Legacy plugged into a 65 Amps Soho. Here's the bypass signal." :(
Andy, say it again in one of the new videos just for kicks.
Thats the first cab sim on a preamp pedal that I actually like
Wow!!! That thing smokes!!!!!!!! You killed it Andy!!!!!
Andy you are the personification of the song TCOB. Love it!
Dude, Andy ALWAYS rips it up!!!!!!
Andy is the man !
This thing sounds great!
Oooh, I like this one. Nice mid control.
That was a rippin intro. Thanks Andy.
It does closely resemble it
This dude must get lots of action
sure was :)
high or low?
Nice heavy tone !!!
That might go great in front of my TINY TERROR !! GREAT VIDEO !!
beautiful pedal!😈
Orange should release a 50 watt head with these exact EQ controls. Maybe they plan too in the future
Add an EHX 44 magnum or a Mooer Baby Bomb
Orange pedal baby?
Hey nice review! Are you using the pedal in front of the amp or in the FX Loop in this demo? Thanks!
Hey Andy, love your sound. Do you have any music published or have any bands you recommend that sound like you? Don't hear this kind of rock ever. Thanks!
I’m sitting here w/my new bax bangeetar $200 off for black friday. I have no words to describe how amazing this is. It sounds EXACTLY like the video, if not better.
You bought the exact same product as what’s in the video. Why would it NOT sound like the video?
@@Gravy_Masterlol, you must be new here.
Good guitar playing bro.
Go Andy Go!
pure Andy! I've heard that!
I wish I had hitchhiker's thumbs like Andy so I could play like I have a pick, but without a pick!
what amp are you playing through?
One of these just turned up used. Do I go with this or the Terror Stamp???
the first tune sounds just like surfin' with the alien
Can't say I am in love with the sound but that Les Paul is exciting 😉
@Erik Richey Hi Erik, IDK what the hell is going on smh. Its like what I wrote on a different video was posted here ??? Very Weird. I have watched this through like 10 times actually because I to play a Les Paul and have around 5-6 Orange amp's and love the way this sounded here. Andy has a way of doing that. I don't drink or do drugs so I really don't understand why I wrote this and why its here lol. I did end up getting a really good price on a new one of these. Have not tried it yet.Peace-
@Erik Richey yeah. i deleted that. Must have been sleep walking lol.
Can I plug directly into a Headrush FRFR12 powered Cab or will i fry the inside of the speaker amp ? Speaker Sim into FRFR 12 ? Anyone ?
At the start i thought that intro riff is from TMNT
Rock'n'f*****g roll!
nice Hag,,,standard or northern??
When you plugged the pedal into the FX Loop it overrides the preamp in
your amp of this video, correct?
Thanks
The Electrocist Yes
Thanks
It's so rich... I've never wanted a dirt pedal so bad.
2:51 That first tune on the Strat is super cool. Is that somebody else's song or is that just one of Andy's groovy creations?
Not sure. It sounds very Stevie Ray inspired though.
does it work with bass?
Alberto Rigoni I would imagine so. The Tech21 Oxford rocks on bass(also Orange-flavored), and to me is 10x better than the Vt Bass. And I've owned a few Darkglass pedals as well.
Alberto Rigoni Here's a couple examples with my Ric and the Oxford. the first clip is direct to interface. sorry for the repetitive nature. You can hear the grunt it gives, though:

FaithNoMan cool thanks!
Character In the video It's great, I like it a lot $$
i only want youuuuuuu, Pinto el baile guacheeennnnn
that intro...I just had to facepalm...out of amazement lol
I just bought one. The sounds are amazing and really - perfect for what I need. However, with the Gain at 3:00 and the Volume working at even the lowest setting, there is a tremendous amount of amp hum when I'm not playing a song. Regardless of how I EQ the rest of the knobs, I have to have the Gain at 3:00 to get "my sound". Any advice to kill the hum? I don't have a grounding problem or anything like that. I notice that you often have your Gain up past 12:00 and same with your Volume. There is no way I can get my Volume up that high without screeching, even if my amp is on low. Bt in your video, you are not playing loud, despite the fact that your Volume is high. WTF?
Thank you!
Bit late I know but in case you haven’t solved this yet, it sounds like a power supply issue to me, what PSU are you using?
Lewis Lennane-Emm, Thank you. What fixed it was using a suppressor and by hitting bypass in between songs.
I think that's a hard "G" Andy!
Not the way Ade Emsley says it - and he designed it.
This little box will make solid state sound not solid state. thanks PGS Andy.
i'll have 10 cheers
can't really get a good chug with your finger nail.... or isn't the nature of the pedal?
Intro stoner rock 101 very nice....
Is that a Gilmour sig Strat?
Not even a fender :)
DAMN SON this things sounds like a gem...so juicy
This vs the gurus 1959
Has it's own something, and it is very different to all those JMP wanna be amp clones.
Shit, this or the Seymour Duncan Palladium?
$379 is way overpriced for this... Next...
what amp are you playing through??
andy patch should be his deluxe reverb
