YES to channel/gain switching! That is the reason I sold my micro terror so soon after purchase. One very versatile channel that wasn't convenient to change.
I bought one. Half of strings are buzzing... bridge metal is soft like it’s made of plastic - after several screwdriver’s usage there are deep signs on it remained. Though, overall quality is on par of the price. Nothing exceptional so.
Hunter man. I gotta give it to you. Ive been watching your channel since like April of 2017 and jesus. Your playing and song writing since then has improved so much. Its been cool to watch man. This demo track was a straight banger. Keep it up man, loving the content!
Lately i've been moving away from recording my guitars clean and adding Vst's. I found putting a preamp or pedals first then adding cab sim and IR gives better result and less generic tones. This seems like the perfect device for that.
Dude, I LOVE that you do your unboxing as a 10 second timelapse right up front. I've been struggling with how to go about getting started with gear videos, and that's been a huge question of mine: does anyone really need a long form unboxing video for guitar gear? Well, I think you did it perfectly my friend, and I'm going to leech off of your ingenuity. Great job as always!
@@Soldano999 Yeah, but that's his thing. This is Hunter's thing. Just seeing it done differently by someone else opens a whole new door of creative ideas for how to approach filming something. Plus, Hunter's just doing new factory sealed gear for the most part. Trogly does cool vintage stuff that benefits from drawn out overdramatic slow unboxings. Different flavors for different content.
I have the hotone version of this. The nano legacy britwind. It's awesome. 70 watts, 2 channels, xlr out, line out, reverb and boost control with individual stomp switch. A super underrated floor amp.
Just got one and tried it at band practice tonight. I play good ol' rock nothing too heavy and the Stamp works great, amazing tone . 2 guitar players with plenty of volume on tap.
Dude, I’ve been thinking about getting one of these and a pedal baby 100 for shows. I’m sooooooo done with hauling heavy ass gear😂 I’ve done it for way too long.
Was thinking of getting one of these for easy headphones practice... After hearing the lineout tone that's a hard pass lol. Save up for helix or a similar thing instead is what I say if that's the goal lol.
Yep i was thinking the same thing. I've tried several of their products and oNed the AD30 (which sounded more like 100w TBH) and all of them sounded really good. They also have that raw/garage quality that makes them stand out from the crowd of polite amps.
Some say his sense of propriety keeps him stomping in the presence of a pedal board. And he heads the local chapter of SNTM (Search for Neighbors Tolerant of Metal). All we know is, he's called Der Fish!
Here's my thought, I recently switched from playing bass to playing guitar and now I still have this Crush Bass 100 amp. So I thought of buying one of those Terror Stamps and connect its FX send to the FX return of the Crush Bass 100 and then adding a PPC112 to the regular speaker out of the Terror Stamp... is this even possible? Treat me gently, I'm a newbie ;-)
Don’t know if you tried this but YES, you can use this as a pre-amp going out of it’s send and into another’s (more powerful) amps return. Now you’ve got a 100w Stamp 😃👍🏻👌
This little thing is really rad. I can see it for bedroom use but for a live performance not so much. Regardless orange really knows how to make a good product, plus an affordable pedal to get the orange amplifier tone. Sign me up!
Wtf that distortion is the most crap thing ive heard this year! How can anyone like this Only the cleans are good but even a squier sp10 has good cleans wtf
Seems cool! But my micro terror wasn’t loud enough for gigs through a 1/12. Almost loud enough but with drums not quite. Unless you mike up the cab then...Excellent demo and excellent pedal for home and gigs if you mike to the PA. For small packages and gig volume I use a Fender Pro Junior! Small, light, loud and fairly inexpensive!
That’s really interesting, the junior gets over a drummer? I got rid of my tiny terror as 15 watts wasn’t loud enough, maybe the pro junior has more head room. Is the pro junior same as blues jr?
Got the Stamp and it’s rad indeed! Seems louder than the micros to me? Also the cab sim through the PA works great. Doesn’t quite seem to have the same gain as the dark terror? The Pro Junior is a loud 15 watts and sorta like a Blues Junior? The Stamp will be my back up amp for the Junior or Super Champ x2. I’ll use the amps speaker if a tube bites the dust.
It doesn't sound like there's a cab sim on the line out. Have you checked the actual cab sim out and why did you not demonstrate that? Especially since the line out sounded not good.
I’ve had this pedal amp for awhile now and am wandering can I run the cab sim out into the effects loop input of a line 6 pod with input of pedals going to the pods fix loop output and then the pod mono unbalanced out into a orange micro terror and cab?
Are there heat problems with this? I’ve heard anecdotal complaints about overheating and shutoff. I miss my micro terror, and want one of these to replace it. They’re so good and versatile.
There are reports that this is the Micro Dark but as a pedal and painted white. Orange hasn't confirmed but there's a NAMM video where the person at the booth said so
I run this with a nux mini studio ir for pretty much everything. I mostly play in applications where an iem system is in use, so this was a great way for me to get a ton of versatility and killer tone on the cheap. Like less than $350 cheap.
The tone is alright, never was a huge fan of Orange amps, but this design I think is going to be very influential moving forward. After the Tiny Terror was released other amp manufacturers started making their own versions of it. Hopefully we’ll see the same thing with this unit.
Great demo! I have the MicroDark and I can tell you that 20 watts will NOT cut it live with a real drummer. Bummer. All you have to do is mic the cab and all is well. It's my new rig. The other part of my rig is a Barefaced 2x12. Please check them out-simply amazing. Someone's got to do it and the only one to even look at them is Chappers. You can be ahead of the curve!
Snap on the footswitch. Really missed a trick by not having it control Gain 1 and Gain 2 so you could actually have two channels rather than just a volume boost which seems kinda pointless.
Can you say "fuck" without demonetizing? In any case, I love how it sounds. And cheap! I don't know about the volume, it's Class A/B instead of D, so it pushes more volume. Ola got it to around 100dB with a MESA 4x12 soooo... maybe it can keep up with a not-so-loud drummer?
@@SilkandScrooge it's not a effect pedal. It is a amp, the size of a pedal. If you send the the output from one amp into another amp something bad will happen to one or both amps like frying components. If you want orange tone you should look into used orange amps at guitar center save some cash
@@SilkandScrooge these orange amps are not that popular, but if you must the used market should have plenty. Not this little pedal sized but lunch box sized , see tiny terror. I did think you were joking about running this amp pedal in front of a 6505.

Definitely gonna look into getting one of these!
Wooohooo that demo track is lit AF 🔥
HB needs to do another run of your sig model. I really want one. The Amarok just isn't going to cut it.
Dude! Diggin this track!
I swapped out my Marshall JCM2000 for the Terror Stamp. Can keep up with a drummer in a jam room. I've been playing through a Laney 2x10.
Through the line out it kinda has those Boss HM2 Entombed Swedish Death Metal kinda vibes.
great sound !
I got to try it at NAMM and was blown away!!

One thing I was wondering is does it have an effects loop. It having one is a big selling point for me
dat beautiful Mastodone tone :D
I tried the terror stamp in a rehearsal room with a drummer. Through a 412 it was loud af
What is this? A (modified) Maylene and the Sons of Disaster riff? Greetings from Birmingham, AL! Good demo, as always.
Thanks dude! Ahhh I miss Maylene. Saw them right before Dallas' accident and they tore. it. up!
