At least jails have state and federal guidelines, cameras everywhere, proper medical and psych. These places are private businesses they don't need to answer to anyone. And, they are often strategically placed in certain states depending on what laws they want to break and bend. I just don't get your point because like I said they are both the same, shitty, scary, effed up, abusive, gross, and possibly very dangerous detention facilities, only difference being that jail has some accountability. There is also a high prevalence of sexual abuse and molestation as well as reckless negligence, torture, and verbal degradation. The point is to break you completely so that they can make you into whoever they feel like. Places like these are all about forming trauma bonds and losing your identity. I hope the kido escapes. I
