  • In May 2023 the magnificent Capesthorne Hall once again hosted its fantastic classic car show, and in this video I will be walking around some of my favourites that joined the simply huge plethora of classic motoring goodness!
Early Sunday morning saw us amble towards our exciting destination in the little MX5 California, where we joined the classic sports car section, and watched some of the lovely classic and vintage cars rolling in. Next, I took a closer look at some of my favourites on the field that led up to the estate in leafiest Cheshire.
Parked infront of the hall was a contingent of Jaguar cars, including a MK9 Jaguar which was one of my favourites, along with a Riley One-Point-Five and a GT6 powered Triumph Spitfire.
If you liked this then please remember to subscribe and comment below what you thought (any favourites???) of this 2023 classic car show walkaround.
Also don't forget to take a look at the channel homepage for more interesting automotive vids - thanks for watching!!
Also let me know what you think of the intro ;-)

Your best video to date Harley. Starting with the travel to the event and a good selection to review. (I think the Reliant Sabre-6 has a 2.5 cc ford straight 6). Well done Bob

Hi 👋 It's a Ford Zephyr Harley. I live in New Zealand and when I was at primary school in 1971 my school teacher had a silver colored one. Good show. Here in New Zealand we have Australian cars on our roads. I haven't seen a Holden in any of the British car shows. There might be someone who owns an Australian car over there.

A relaxed and enjoyable presentation! I have just watched Dad's Tatton Show which had a MX3, a type I rallied internationally and locally in the Dark Ages. There was an old chap who lived in the fells and an expert on Wankles. When I took to him, in broad Cumbrian he said the 'laar things constipated!' He drilled some holes in the exhaust to relieve the back pressure and it went like the proverbial off a shovel! Sadly on the RAC it began to break its back and we had to weld the doors up to get home! Both of you keep up the god work - and don't your studies, Harley! Lol

Another great video. For me, the great thing about most of the cars you cover is that they are all different. Now days we seem do have a world of 2 and 4 door hatches which essentially all look the same. It was good to get a glimpse of some of the stalls which is (presumably) where you get some of your treasures. Is your shed full yet?

Here's a suggestion for a new episode: Why not show what goes into making one of these videos? There's the prep work before heading out in the morning, travel, setup, wardrobe changes to accommodate the weather, meals, finding the often inconvenient restrooms, filming decisions, packing up, heading home, & editing. You put a lot into these, & it would help up appreciate all that you did for us.
