That was a really great review of Prescott, some amazing machines out there Harley. Really appreciated you and your family doing yet another excellent video summary. Hope to be there next year.
What a pleasure to vicariously visit this great hill climb where I drove many, many years ago. However, as I was in a borrowed Jaguar-engined saloon I was cautious and was far from beating the record! You gave a professional and erudite commentary which made for sheer enjoyment. Thank you superstar! Rob
That was one of the best 100 odd minutes of great cars being driven as they were intended. We do not get that range or quality of cars at our hillclimbs here in Australia. I had to sto the video and rewind to look at some of the cars in the paddock. I was surprised at the great weather you had for the meeting. On one of our trips to the UK, we were forced to stop so we could photograph blue sky. Thank you for your effort and time you put into the video. I have shared this with a few of my other hillclimb competitors here in Oz. I think the MG you really liked was a 1934 MG PA Airline Coupe.
Thank you Harley for your video of the event. So many different types of old racers converging at the one racetrack. Incredible. From Carl in New Zealand
This looks absolutely lovely! Alas, I am not able to watch all of this due to restoring our old car. Hit some mechanical issues! Those old cars look so easy to put your hands down and tinker with the engines!
"A certain international kerfuffle " A class , or a crass comment ? Please explain why the deaths of several hundreds of thousands of white indigenous Anglo-Saxon Brits , at Normandy, Dunkerque, Arnhem , in Siam, Burma, North Africa , to itemise but the tip of the iceberg , not to mention WW1 's Gallipoli, Somme ,Ypres : Perhaps 6 million Jews, gassed and exterminated during this " International kerfuffle " are superfluous and irrelevant in the context of whimsical flippant effrontery : A cheap nasty , insensitive comment , totally inappropriate in the context of a VSCC meeting where several of us members of 50 yrs or more ,are still attending in our 80's and 90's : We lost fathers grandfathers ,uncles cousins in these 'kerfuffles' We have forgotten more vintage machinery technical nitty gritty than this young callow youth will accrue in a lifetime. A disgrace !
Clearly you had no indigenous antecedents who gave their lives for this country during the 'kerfuffle': A shameful response to an insensitive and puerile comment from an ignorant youth;
Hello. Wonderful old race cars. The condition , and the sound of their engines is amazing. The racetrack dating back to 1938. Thats before the Second World War breaking out in 1939. I don't like to say which car i liked the most , but the bright red Talbot car 130 is one of my favorites.
13:00 that Theophile Schneider was driven all the way to the event and back, and it’s his daily! Car and owner featured on the Shed Racing channel on his way home from Prescott
The timing struts are not to give a time advantage but the opposite, to ensure equality of timing despite possible differences caused by the various car/wheel profiles, perhaps I'm being just a trifle pedantic...

Vintage hill climbing events are my favourites, it's such a treat to see vintage race cars in the amazing surroundings

Fish Tail Muffler or the Brooklands Muffler also on Motorcycles 😉
45 minutes, that’s a Type 46 with Superprofilee body designed by Jean Bugatti.
