Great tour Harley, thanks for bringing us with you. The first Barracuda was the big back window fastback, which morphed into the notchback, I think the later ones like the one at 6:50 were just called 'cuda. That was about junior high school for me. As a high schooler, I did have several of the fastback 64-66, and a 68 notchback.
You are stunned speechless by the beauty of that gold Citroen DS fifty years after its release. Its certainly more stylish than anything else of that era except maybe the SM. 😋
Thanks for teaching me a new motoring term Harley; “a very stickery engine” 😂😂 Very hard to choose a best in show but mine has to be the Citroen DS Great video
You are a walking automobile encyclopaedia! Enjoyed the cars, some types of which I owned in my very mis-spent youth! Also watched one your vey early vids about petrol cans in which you had not yet gained your full confidence to be relaxed - but non-the-less enjoyable. Keep 'em coming. Rob
Hi 👋 Harley I'm viewing older content of you and your father's videos. Wonderful show. That 1970s Fiat 130 Coupe was stunning. I have never seen one here in New Zealand. That mustard colored MG is exactly the same as a friend of my father had in the early 1970s. Same color everything. I love Citroens, and that DS is excellent. We never sold the Dyane and Ami models. I had a school teacher at high school in the mid 1970s who owned a white Reliant Scimitar, and it was beautiful. Such a classy car. German cars from the 1970s were class cars too. I loved the BMW from that period. They were very expensive to buy here though. I thought I was knowledgeable about cars when i was your age, but nothing compared to you. I'm not interested in the new cars today, they all look the same to me.
Nice one Harley, Ah "The Road Hump Of Doom" strikes again. The RX7 is a nice car and always has been in my humble opinion.👍. What a lot of fabulous cars, amazing. The VW Camper is a Japanese copy, sort of, and are imported. They also make a MK2 Jag on a using a Nissan Micra.
I do like the Puma GT (10:40 and 54:00) but I'd probably go for the MGB GT V8 to take home. The Fiat130 (25:45) had a twin cam V6 similar to the Ferrari 246. Same engineer (Aurelio Lampredi) I think. Was that Jodrell Bank in the distance at 8:05 ? Another wonderful show. So many cars, it has to be hard to give them all a good look in just one day.
Nice video . Interesting to see the American cars - and yes - you can say it, those Lincoln’s ARE ugly.😂 [ referring to the “modern “ Jellybean look.”.] Lots of interesting cars from all over. The Brazilian car is a Puma. And yes, Volkswagen powered. Puma has been around for a long time. They also make trucks. That one you saw looked to be about a 1970’s. 🚗🙂

Correct. The Badging was even shortened to “ ‘CUDA “. Though they were still referred to as ‘Baracuda’ by most people.
🚗🙂
Cool! Thanks for watching

The Citroen is a good one,
But I’m stuck between the SS, the MG Magnette [ love the 2-tone paint, really sets it off].
And the MK-ll Ford Cortina.
🚗🙂
@@jeffking4176 yes the Magnette is lovely
You must come from the same area as Mark Watson the comedian, you sound like him so often. 👍

Hi Harley, the TR6 at 1:06:35 is an original UK petrol injection version with throttle bodies, not triple webbers. Great channel
Ah ok, thanks for watching!

Ahhhh yes, weren't they called the Mitsuoka or something? Thanks for watching!

Yes Capesthorne is right next to Jodrell Bank, I did my best to show everything!
PS, Was the sports car a TVR?
Rob
Which timestamp? Probs a lot of sports cars in the video
