Just bought a Maybach. Awesome car. My son loves it. When he takes it back, it goes front seamlessly and he makes sure it is always in his closet next to other favorite toys. The cast iron is top quality.

Considering the rolls Royce a utility vehicle was probably meant to be used as a tax write off for millionaires.

It doesn't make a difference over here in Europe, the Cullinan's max weight (curb weight + payload) is still under 3.5 t and thus it's not a truck. And like any other car that you buy or better lease as a business owner, you can write off its taxes proportionally to the distance at has been used commercially.
Thanks guys. I love the look and technology of the Cullinan but have had Mercedes for 25 years. Cannot beat the value in today’s luxury market with the Maybach!

Absolutely the cullinan for me, I drove one and absolutely loved it though some of the BMW switchgear and software was not masked enough in my opinion and there was one slight window gap that stood out. But the comfort, ease of use, the classic rolls Royce styling of class yet very imposing. The gls has value on its side and it has a sporty side to its personality but the styling is definitely not timeless. It follows the modern “coupe suv” fad. I’m glad that rolls Royce hasn’t fallen to that frivolous fad. I’ll admit that them making an suv might be trendy but if all the modern companies now building SUV’s, rolls Royce actually makes sense for space and the driving position. Ferrari spat in the face of enthusiasts with their offering and, yes, it’s a v12 Mazda cx5. Rolls Royce is also in a great position for a full EV car as silence and smoothness is absolutely paramount in their philosophy of building a car
the cullinan has an insane presence but the maybach looks really clean
True the front of all rr cars looks impressive. But the rear end on the other hand looks like they forgot to design it and did it in the last sec. It doesn’t looks good at all

@@paulstallmeister1964 i am pretty sure you can option everything on the Cullinan with RR, but in between these 2 cars as shown in he video i would choose the Maybach, but in a real situation with an unlimited budget, i would get a fully spec phantom or Cullinan

As soon as James started talking about the suspension on the maybach and Thomas got in the car I knew EXACTLY where it was going
As a couch observer I would say if RR took some of the trinkets away and put a higher emphasis on functionality it would take it another step up. For what the buyer is paying the screen and sound system should be flawless. The fold out screens should be at eye level and 8k for what the buyer is paying. The Maybach is excellent value.
At 8k the resolution would become jagged and look distorted so there would be no point anyways.

to be fair to the Rolls Royce, you can spec the rear seats to be similar to the maybach. It's simply a spec this car didn't, but on their website if you configure a Cullinan, you can see that the option is there.

Mercedes invented a first car so for me it’s not even a question which car I would choose. For Rolls Royce you’re just paying for the name which is not anything special. This Maybach has so many better features then stuck in the past RR. All the greatest inventions in any car came from Mercedes. Great review guys .
