Maybach is like a cool, smart teenager while the Phantom is a supreme and wise elder person.
Just that the buyers are the other way round, young rappers buy pink Rolls, while elder people buy a classy Maybach because they know how to spend money well.

I never forget the first time a RR Phantom drove by next to me. Me sitting in the driver seat of a normal limousine and the front of the RR still being at the hight of my shoulders - these cars are gigantic…
The Phantom is ridiculously big. At 6 meters long, it dwarfs the Suburban by nearly 300 mm in length. That's about the same difference as the E Class and long wheelbase S Class, and yet the Phantom is a 4 seat sedan.
@@smar1208 Yeah. The phantom is longer than my school bus(Tempo Traveller Scholar edition). Even the Maybach is bigger but the difference is negligible. Force motors used to run ads in India showing off how compact their buses are by comparing them with the S class and showing how they were smaller.

Wow... I just felt at peace by just looking at this Phantom ride... Magic. I could see how smooth the suspension is. The wheels moving up and down so passengers don´t feel anything. Thank you for this moment!!!
I agree ☝️ Phantom is very expensive but it’s worth the money more than any other car in its class. From my personal experience The ride quality on phantom is on another level, purely magic. Maybach is a modified S class with extra stuff inside nothing special about it

@@sssilver_wing So basically you get in touch with a representative of a bank that specializes in car loans, those exist - but you need to know which one to select because some are fraudulent and shitty. You have to have a good reason and press credentials in order to backup your claim for a test, afterwards you get a screening involving your current reach on youtube, which in the end will allow you get better cars I don't know what the fuck I'm saying I made it up

You can see the slight grid pattern in the glass common in multi pane windows. Super common on bullet "proof" glass.

As a mechanic, it seems that the Maybach is full of things that will go expensively wrong in 10-15 years while the RR will keep going for twice that. It's not a problem for the first owner but as these cars age it will be an issue on the second or third hand market.
RR is not a reliable car. And a switch costs as a 10 year old s class.

I used to have a 1986 420sel W126 and I loved it. Picked her up for about 1500 bucks and put around 60k miles on the engine before I decided it was time to find something else more easy on gas. It was honestly an experience; driving her wherever I wanted to go.
This era of S-classes can’t even be compared to the current era.

I saw one parked in a car park once, it genuinely is as big as tall as an SUV, the presence is incredible.

I live in Peterborough right by that Mercedes dealership. Beardsmore Rd that stretch right along the hwy is really fun to race the cars on the Hwy. Also one of the most bumpiest but I love the cows so it totally worth the route considering the hwy construction thats been happening for 6 years now.

That exterior rear quarter view on the Maybach is simply stunning! The way the roof line flows into the trunk, the small window forward of the B-pillar... yes, absofreakinlutely beautiful! I'd definitely take the Maybach over the Rolls.

Maybach couldn’t shift enough cars on its own, merging the Maybach name onto normal S-class was the best decision they could’ve made for sales for the brand.

Which one depreciates fastest? What does the Rolls cost anyway? Do those automatic things start to break after a couple years in the Maybach, for big repair bill$$$?
It's funny how there's an argument about prices on these cars, when u reach the wealth to pay for those cars it doesn't matter anymore how much you pay, if you afford to buy a Maybach you probably can buy a Rolls-Royce it's just up to you and what you want from the car
‘Ehh I dunno man. There are a lot of people who can afford a $180k car. However, im sure that number is drastically reduced at $400k. One is an “I make good money” car, the other is an “I have no clue how much money I have” car.
A lot of generationally wealthy people count every penny they spend, they always look for ways to get the best deal possible and argue over miniscule amounts as long as they come out on top. Its often the new money that buys these "toys" that depreciate hourly.
