Seriously man. You’ve such a nice instrument. Maybe some dynamic variation and perhaps as my teacher used to say not making an aria out of this chanson?

This is an beautiful rendition of a chanson that is "familiar/popular." I get the point of the other comments but I kind of disagree that you need to add dynamic variation or not make an aria out of an art song. What I heard from this rendition is good direction of the phrasing, led by the intention of the text, and the push and pull of the music. None of that "this verse or this word should be soft, for variety" the phrasing should dictate that. Also, art songs are introductions to arias, so arias are typically more intense or dramatic than art songs but the voice should be on the same level. Therefore the vocal production should be the same. And I know so many great singers will agree with this.

    Wonderful voice and singing!
French diction though sounding funny to my French ears... my own English prononciation would probably sound far more weird to yours😂
Thank you for your mostly appreciated vids!!

Amazing voice. I hope I can one day listen to your live performances of everything from art songs to arias. You have an amazing interpretation of this Faure art song.

In An aria we “shout” so that everybody understands what the whole thing is about.
In lieder / melodies we confess something in the ear of each one of the audience.

Very nice voice and good technique. You should pay more attention to the French diction that could be improved in some places.

Somehow feel like your mesa di voce mastery is not coming out here as much as your live performances.
The French is a bit dodgy. Did you listen to Souzay? One of my fav renditions.
The video.. the Miami beach dress/top feels "off-brand" for this song. :p
