Most laminators can foil but the quality would depend on how hot the laminator could reach as it needs to be very hot for the foil to stick to laser toner.
Are your laser printer and inkjet printer are just the same? I tried this before using separate inkjet printer and laser printer, the wtiting and background do not match up as they're supposed to be. Thanks

Any laser printer works well with foiling, you just need to make sure that your artwork is 100% K (Black toner) and you are printing on smooth cardstock rather than slightly textured. The foiling machine you use also has a huge impact on foiling as it needs to get hot enough.
You would need to test the laminator as there are so many different ones out there. It would need to get very hot. Most laminators do not have this feature.

How did you keep the foil from transferring on to the marble design? I have burgundy print sheets but the foil transferred to the burgundy not just the letters
Maybe a bit late, but if you have the possibility to print the marble background with an ink printer and then print the text on top with a laser printer, the foil will only adhere to the laser-printed text :)
Depends on how you will be printing. If printing on your home printer, no, you can print from word. If you are getting someone else to print it, yes, it needs to be a PDF file.

The black "envelope" is pre made folio that we sell. There is no template.

If you are foiling you must only use a laser printer because foil doesn’t stick to inkjet ink, only laser toner.
