- Maruti Suzuki officially introduced the much-awaited Baleno facelift in India. The hatchback comes with lots of exterior design tweaks to make it more stylish. The platform has been updated to the latest generation of Heartect while the length and height have come down but the weight has gone up by 60 kgs as the chassis has been strengthened. The interior also gets substantial updates like a new touchscreen infotainment system along with minor changes for the dashboard. The Baleno come with a segment-first 360-degree camera & head-up display. Maruti Baleno is powered by a 1.2 L VVTI engine producing 90 hp and 113 Nm, mated to a 5-speed manual and AMT. The updated Baleno price starts at Rs. 6.49 lakh.

Baleno facelift is improved a lot in features and safety. But, NOT the safest car 😠😠😠. Still there are shortcomings in heartect platform. However, best VFM premium hatchback car in Indian market.

2010 ന് മുൻപ് Baleno ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നല്ലോ.പിന്നീട് പ്രൊഡക്ഷൻ നിർത്തി. പിന്നെയാണ് 2015 ഇൽ വേറെ മോഡലിൽ ഇറങ്ങിയത് എന്നാണ് ഞാൻ കരുതുന്നത്.ആദ്യം ഇറങ്ങിയത് എഞ്ചിൻ പവർ കൂടുതലും മൈലേജ് കുറവും ആയിരുന്നു.15Km മൈലേജ് ലിറ്ററിന് കിട്ടില്ല അന്ന് എന്നാണ് തോനുന്നുത്.

Central govt new safety rules implement to push Maruti company to rethink about safety... otherwise this company never concentrate in safety features in their budget cars... they concentrate in indian people psychology..."The Mileage". Even new BALENO also not 100% satisfaction about crash test like Tata and Mahindra....In one word I can tell they garnish some masala added features in BALENO facelift..... Yes...Tata Altroz won't be good option considering the NA engine instead of turbo, also Tata service is network is not able to handle even the manual gearbox properly...i20 is not known for its fuel efficiency and doesn't need to be since it's a premium hatchback...
