@@flyingthenest I almost cried when I got the notification for your upload. omg
Heya everyone so sorry about the delay in this vlog - we all missed your amazing faces this last Sunday! Will be back up to date with a cheeky Nursery renovation // everything we have got for our baby coming out this sunday!!
Flying The Nest almost thought you said your baby would come out this Sunday!
@@lanternsea94 me too
I would love steven to make a video about his acne journey. Teenager experiencing acne watching here :)
Can’t wait to see it 😍
Even ACE family's baby is coming this week. God bless everyone.
You really have to sit on the couch to see the size 😭 so cool. Great video
You will have to recreate some of those photos with the baby.
100%!!!
My parents saved for YEARS for me and my brother to go to Disney World when I was 5 and I still remember every moment of it to this day. I am 29 and have been atleast 5 times, but nothing has been more magical than when I was under 10. Love you both and so happy for your new little bundle!!!
It's wonderful you still remember every moment of it to this day. I'll keep this in mind when I have a son or a daughter. You went to the one in Florida when you were 5?
That trip down memory lane with your photos was adorable. I didn’t realise how long and how much of your adventures I’ve been with y’all for. Was amazing seeing your incredible journey. You lucky duckies
My fam went to Disney when my little sister was 5 and it was perfect!! She believed it all, still remembers it, and we all had so much fun! It’s so fun seeing Disney through a little ones eyes.
love the new house guys!! and loving the house vlogs :)
Went to Disney for the first time when I was 6 and my sister was 3.. so magical and remember it so well. Most Magical childhood experience EVER was to Lapland at Christmas when I was 7. Go back there with kids and you are giving them the most magical experience ever meeting Santa and reindeer. Etched in my childhood forever
Gosh, Jess, avoid using cooking spray with an open flame. The flame can catch the oil stream and blow up the can. Always remove the pan from the flame before applying.
The first time I went to Disney World, I was 6 and my sister was 3. We both have the most incredible memories of it all and especially helped by the fact that our parents videoed the whole trip so we have the tapes (VHS! Haha!) to look back on it. Needless to say we’ve been many more times since, it’s our favourite place we’ve ever been, and now my husband is addicted too! Yay!
Oh, watching your videos is such a pleasure! Especially these days... I live in Germany, good that there is some positive news 👑 from Australia.
Your house is becoming a home, you've done great work decorating it. I love your travelling vlogs, but seeing you at home preparing for the BIG day is exciting as well.
In my views, perhaps some plants and greenery would make the interior even more cosy, still it looks comfortable and stylish in the same time.
Greeting from Dortmund!☀️
In the lounge/ den space, whatever prints you choose, might be cool to be all black and white. Your home is stunning! And the two of you in these vids are just full of light and joy. Blessings.
Who else laughed when Jess said that 19 degrees was cold 😂
hahahaha it's because I am a crazy Aussie!
It's so cold omg .
Also an Aussie and from Perth 😂
19 is hot in the UK 😂
last week in england it was 19 degrees and it was so nice and warm everyone was sunbathing, I'm so jealous of aussie weather
Lol. I think it depends are where you live. I’m in Ontario Canada and it supposed to be 18 on Saturday, everyone is pumped for the “warm” weather coming. lol. Today is 14 and it’s cold, but it’s better then -20 degrees lol.
Kids and Disney: I took my kids between 3 and 5. Depends on the kid. Its so great when they're well toilet trained, thy're super excited after seeing some of the disney classics, and can (mostly) listen/behave. That first time they see Disney is seriously so magical and awesome to experience as a parent. And all the kiddy rides you may skip as an adult, you have a reason to do them. Your child's joy just makes everything so much more fun.
Nice to see your house tour. You two have a lovely place. The monkey picture was everything. That needs a special wall of its own. I like the Taj Mahal picture as well. Hopefully, we can all travel again one day and experience new epic adventures 🙌💯☀️✈️
hahah the monkey needs its on room!
Flying The Nest even better 👍
I am born and raised in Orlando, FL and have been going to Disney World my whole life. The BEST times to go are when you're a little bit older and can be big enough to ride all of the rides!!! Space Mountain/Splash Mountain are about 44 inches (113 centimeters) and those are the CLASSICS! I will say the events and activities that play to younger kids like character breakfasts and show/movie related stuff that is offered at an additional cost or at the resorts is also super fun so if you do bring a very small child 0-5 then those would be a good idea to checkout. Dont forget about all the other cool parks in the area either! Busch Gardens in Tampa has the BEST rollercoasters and the waterparks in Orlando/Tampa are not to be missed.
I loved this video and I'm so happy for you! I study child development right now, actually taking an exam in a few hours. So from what I've learned children over 3 years have a better chance to make lifelong memories, they can put words on their feelings and you can by bringing up this event (disneyworld) make them consolidate the memory even better. We don't make long term memories before 3 years of age and for me most of my clearest are at 3,5. Also the child will have more energy and you all will have such a magical time! Your house is perfect! Can't wait to see the nursery :)
When we took my nieces to Disney the first time they were 2 and 4. It was a magical time because they just lit up every time they saw princesses or any Disney character. One of my nieces was so excited to see Sleeping Beauty she started to shake before we ever got to the front of the line. They do not remember going when they were that young but I will always remember it. They went again when they were about 7 and 9 and had a totally different experience because they loved the harry potter books and movies at the time and could ride a lot more rides. I say the 1st trip is really for you to remember and the second should be for them to remember. Good luck on this new adventure of parenthood y'all are going to do great.
I took my daughter on her fourth birthday, so she turned five at Walt Disney World. She still talks about it today. Aww, you two are so cute. I’ve been watching since you only had like 21 subscribers 🥰🥰. It’s been fun watching your adventures. Congratulations on your new house. It’s beautiful. Can’t wait to see the nursery and to meet your little girl.
First of all: Wow your house is huuuge😍
And I read that your memories usually start around the age of 4 so when you take her when she is 5 or 6 she is probably going to remember when she is older :) I personally remeber a lot of things from that age not even my parents remember some things😂
My son was 9 when he first went to Disney. He was taller than most kids his age and pretty much met the height requirements for every ride we went on. Was so much fun! Our last trip was in 2007. A loooong time ago. He’s 23 now. Thank you for showing us your beautiful home!
I’m from Japan. I genuinely think your Japanese accent is really natural. Keep up the good work!
I visited Disneyworld in Orlando as a 6-7
year old. I'm 20 now, and can still remember a lot of those memories! Highly recommend taking your baby girl when she is around that age range!
Love your videos! ❤️
Japanese is here! I could understand clearly what Steven said in Japanese. I've subscribed your channel for more than 2 years.😊
I like your videos :)
I grew up going to Disney very often. I have a family member that works there so we were fortunate to just be let into the park. Some of my most vivid memories of Disney were around the age of 5. But! I have small siblings and we took them for the first time at 3 yrs old, 4yrs old, and 17days old. Obviously the baby didnt remember, but the other two remember everything and it’s now two yrs later. They were tall enough for most rides too at those ages.
Love your home vlogs as much as your travel ones. Glad you're both staying safe 😊😊
Ahh this makes us so happy! Thank you :D
A sunrise in Siem Reap Cambodia at Angkor Wat was amazing! We spent three days there, I honestly could’ve spent a week there! I’ve heard 5 years old is a good time for a child to do Disney! Old enough to remember and old enough to not be scared of life size characters!
It’s so funny people noticed the kettle and toaster😂😂😂The house looks incredible! Great job guys!
I took my daughter to Disneyworld for the first time when she was 5. It was a great age as she still believed she was actually meeting the characters but old enough to remember the visit. Can’t wait to see your baby girl! Cheers from the states!
Your home is gorgeous! The photos are devine, what an exciting part of your life!
I don’t know how delayed the vlogs are I just know...
The baby is coming, the baby is coming!!!
Super adorable house! You’ve done a great job!
What a life you have chosen to live....to be together 24/7, smiling and loving every moment, to travel to such extraordinary places and to finally have your beautiful home base with baby.
Well done!!!!
Do you guys have a bucket list or are you living it?!?!?!
Me: that couch isn't THAT big
Jess: Sits on couch
Me: I was wrong
Virginia Anderson ???
Turquoise accents in your conversation/living room would be gorgeous. Or anything that is compatible with the beautiful photo on the wall. Enjoy your wonderful new home and the arrival of your little one.
theatre room photos could be any photos of you two with Disney characters from Disneyland or universal studios characters
Glad to hear you loved the snow in Finland. Next time you visit you ought to see the northern lights and if you're lucky, you'll be in such an isolated place you can hear their ambient sound. Love from Fi, a couple that are so fond of you two 🤩
Hi guys! You are amazing and inspired me and my boyfriend to travel together. Kisses from Istanbul! ❤️
There are so many classes online you can take to prep for your labor and delivery! I went to disney for my 6th birthday and I can remember a lot of it. Some characters were tall and scarey, but over all I think 6 years old is great. If I were a litlle older though I may have been able to go on more rides. I love your photos and your home. Looking forward to seeing the nursery!
I love when you talk about travel memories. I would definitely watch a series where you tell about and show travel memories!
As an avid Disney over, 7-10 years old is the best time. Kid is old enough that they dont need a nap and they will actually remember it. Plus they are generally tall enough to get on most rides.
One of the best couples in RUclips, love from Turkey 🇹🇷😀✌
I love efes pilsen
26:55 I'm an Indian and its actually this pic in the thumbnail that brought me to this channel. Totally loved it. God bless you'll. You guys look great together and love to the little one 😘
We were just in Melbourne and Sydney in March (after we quit our jobs to travel full time and right before the current crisis). Hopefully next time (unsure when) we can visit Perth and the West Coast of Australia!! Enjoy the hottest Autumn 😘
Travel Interesante subscribed 🙋🏽♀️
Congratulations and Good Luck, beautiful people! 💐🍀☺️
I took my son to Disneyland in Tokyo and Paris when he was 4. He absolutely loved it so much. I think 4 is a great age.
Why did the second half of this video make me so emotional! So many memories! It feels like the end of an era but in a good way! Last couple of weeks just the two of you! The next chapter is going to be epic with bubs!
When you get to know their favorite photo is from India ...... 😘😘😘😘😘😘😍😍😍😍😍
---Love from India 😊
I took my two to Disney last year at 7 and 9. It was magical. They were old enough to go on the “bigger” rides and not be scared, old enough to last an entire day without needing a nap, and they also knew all the characters in the parades ect. The lines are long and they were old enough to understand why we were standing in line and didn’t get frustrated. But still young enough to believe in the Disney magic and believe in the characters and rides.
It's crazy that Aussies think 19C is cold!!! We've had 18C in the UK and we've all been loving it! So hot! 😂
See, 18 is hot for you, We consider 30+ hot, UK considers 30c a heatwave
Same in Miami, fl 😂Jackets will be coming out
I spent last year in Australia and 19° was absolutely freezing!! And now I'm back in Scotland sunbathing in 18°, it's crazy 😂
Its temperature + wind.
I live in the blue mountians in Aus....19°c is nothing! Its gets as low as -2.....which again maybe nothing for the Uk..but yeah Australia can get pretty cold!
I was 7 when my parents took me and my 10 years old brother to Disneyland, I have really good memories from this place and I remember a lot, beside of photos and videos. I think 7-8 years old is the perfect time to take a kid to the Disneyland for the first time
I was literally waiting for you guys to post this week!!
Me too 😊
So so sorry about the delay :) Going to also post on Sunday too!
I was also waiting 💜
@@flyingthenest we must be more patient, I know, whilst waiting for our weekly fix. That's the trouble with being great at what you do .. you leave us wanting MORE !!! Plus, we all thought the puff pastry had arrived. We were all freaking out in different parts of the 🌍. Sending love from Oxford, England x
Hi guys, nice to see your house tour, just wanted to say thanks to you for creating these nice videos for the world to see, i 've been watching you for 2 years now , and now i strated watching your old videos from 5 years ago, and you've made my carantine time more enjoyable . Greetings from Cyprus.
Always love ‘day in a life’ videos
:) sooo glad you enjoyed it!!!
You guys are so sweet!!! May that love, laughter and happiness last a lifetime! 😘😘😘😘
I have a 4 year old girl. To me this age is perfect! They do understand well and are processing things perfectly!
I apparently went to Disney world at 3 and cannot remember a thing so I would maybe suggest slightly older than 3 so she can have the memories?
Ailsa Main I don’t remember either, but they get in for free until they are 3 so they wouldn’t be wasting any money if they took her a little bit before she turned 3!
I know you love each other, and are as close as brother and sister. I understand what it can be like. But make sure you don't both lose your independence of Soul, during this difficult time. Love you both xox
Is it the normal size of house in Australia? I mean, it is massive!
Charles Lee two bedroom would be considered on the smaller size. Perfect for a small family though.
@@applausenu for a...*cough*...SMALL family? :D
In my country it's considered to be the house of the elites, so expensive that only some people in the whole country can afford that
it depends on the city and then where you are in the city :) or country town
applausenu it’s 4 bedrooms though, because of the study and spare bedroom
Standard house size in Australia for a newish house. My house in Sydney is a similar size.
So refreshing to open up RUclips and see a new video from you guys. What a beautiful home! Love the clean white look. You did a great job changing it into “your” home!
I had to laugh when you said 19C was “cold”. 19C here in Alberta, Canada means shorts, t-shirts and water fights outside, haha! It was BEAUTIFUL here in Edmonton today ☀️!
it feels on the cooler side here in aus! so weird because i’m from the uk and would have never had thought that 19C would be cold to me lol
Its still 19C here in Nova Scotia :(
Yeah more Canadians
As someone who has been following you on your travels around the world for YEARS! Looking through the photos had me tearing up ❤️. Sending love 💚
What stunning photos 😍 and gorgeous home, I love the style you’ve selected. Thanks for the long vlogs, love them 😍 I love 💓 the pre planning of your uni certificates - foresight is deffo one of you guys keys skills! I was wondering how you’d balance home ownership & travel - that AstroTurf and shutters is a great compromise!
So happy you are continuing your videos! You are a light in these dark times. Much love and big hugs to you both. Looking forward to when your little girl is born and you start videos again. Blessings!
Ah btw, I would recommendgoing to Disneyland at the age of 4-5. More onto 5 because minimum age is 3 but kids can't really remember those things and I think its still nice if the kid remembers those moments :)
My favourite trip to Disneyworld I was 5 or 6 and it was great because the magic felt so so real and it was just amazing. I'm also a huge Disney fan so literally visiting there anytime I'm just so happy I'm always brought to tears. ❤️
I love the style of the house so far 🙂.
naww thank you so much!!
OMG YOU REPLIED
Re: Disney!! I don't remember any travels before the age of 6! If you want it to be a disneyworld trip for her to remember I would wait until she''s 6 or 7... still super magical, and princesses are still cool! Loved the vlog this week guys!
Please put the monkey in the nursery! Also if you want a different flavour for the pancakes take out bananas and put peanut butter and pumpkin seeds and then have egg on top! It’s a savoury pancake! And retro Disney posters on the walls of the theatre
I went to Disney for the first time at six years old and it was the most magical experience that I still remember today!! Around that age is a good time I think
i think that the walls in the 'movietheatre' should be pictures of your favorite movies🤷🏽♂️
I honestly can't stop thinking how blessed you two are. Wishing you all the best and more blessings and happiness for the future 💙
I love how when Jess said she had something we were gonna get a “crack” out of she was also taking eggs out of the fridge, I totally thought she was making a pun 😂
Me too😂
Happy for both of you guys. Been following you for about 2 years now, you deserve all you've got and some more.
Ahh that couch in the theatre room looks so comfy!! 😍 Can I ask where you purchased it from?
I wondered that too. It looks perfect
Oh I’d love to know too
Please tell me where you purchased your sofa? I’m so in love with it! You have a gorgeous home! You’re going to be amazing parents to one very lucky little girl 💖.
Me too!
Oh I think I saw this couch in Harvey Norman last week
I was waiting so much, if there was a picture from India which was going to get put on your walls. When the small photos were over l was kinda sad. But when you unfolded the TAJ MAHAL picture l was SO happy. I hope you have soft corner in your heart for India. Love you both. GOD BLESS YOUR FAMILY.
Disney Land..
8-10 years old.. That way she can remember going herself and not just have pictures..
Our two boys were 8 and 11, and that seemed perfect.
I agree. I actually went my freshman year of highschool and had soooo much fun, because I could wait in lines, watch the shows, and appreciate everything. I think 3 is DEFINITELY too young, simply because she won’t remember it, and the long lines and crowds can make it hard for a child to stay entertained. At that age they get tired and fussy, too. Who knows how her little personality will be, some kids are frightened by the costumed characters. I would say don’t go until she’s at least 6 years old. Just my opinion though 🤷🏻♀️ This was a great video!
I don't think these two would be able to wait that long
I don't remember going until I was 12, the other time I was 6. So maybe 10 would be good? It was still pretty magical at 12, but I bet it would have been more so a bit earlier on.
Yeah, my fam took us when I was 9ish. It was young enough to be absolutely magical, but old enough that I can remember it all.
It’s so crazy being part of your journey from the start of your channel, you two getting married and now having a baby in your first home 😃. Best couple on RUclips! Love how huge that couch is 💗. I think to add a more homey personal touch to your house you guys should add little trinkets that you maybe collected during your travels and some plants to give your home a fresh feel (also it’s good with the baby to have tons of fresh oxygen from the plants) . With love from South Africa 🇿🇦
Hope you can come back to traveling after this crisis. Greetings from London
I know!! we will be waiting with our passports ready!
I have 2 girls and lived in cocoa beach, fl. 5 years old is the perfect age for Disney. 3 is fun but they're too early to remember.
As for lamaze classes, I remember a trick or tool I was taught. Hold a couple of ice cubes in your hands for as long as you can stand. It won't be long at first, but if you take deep breaths slowly in and out while picturing a place or person that calms you down, you can breath through the pain. It'll help you to learn to breath through your labor pains. Also you want to do lots of squats with your legs far apart. Squats help open your hips and make it easier to birth your baby. Congratulations and stay healthy and safe!
Im still laughing about the monkey 😂. Love your chanel 😍
HAHAHHA us too!
Still cracking me up!! 😂
I tried the pancakes last week as part of research recipes to eat healthy during this days. I never expected that tasted so good, is so a nice to know we can eat self prepared food that ist so tasty. That's makes me happy!
is that one of the beaches north of Mullaloo? I was there that day ☺️
;)
I love your videos. I am 162cm tall, so I am also in the shorter category! I thought you were taller, not that it really matters. Thanks for sharing the final weeks of your time before the little one is born.
OMG, You're motivating me.
I love your energy and spirit.. it's contagious.
I hope you all will do some home how-to and project videos.
VasseurBeauty youtube channel has some great videos like that and provides inspiration too.
What a peaceful and serene video! I couldn't stop smiling from start to finish. You guys made my day! I'm rooting for you all the time, and looking forward to you coming to Japan soon!
Ah this is so sweet!
I went to Disney at 7 ....perfect age and old enough to hold on to all the memories
First of all, great video today. We really enjoyed your sharing the beautiful photos. As for the first Disney trip with your daughter, I think around 3 to 4 years is perfect. We took our daughter to Orlando when she was almost 4 and she loved dressing up as princess. By the time we went back when she was 8 she was done with princesses and would never hvae wanted to dress up. She tells me that she definitely has memories of the first trip. So...wait long enough so that she remembers at least some of it but not too long so that she is done with princesses.
We are watching you Turkey 🇹🇷(özge bunu beğencen kanka)
I went to Disneyland when I was 7!! Absolutely loved it and still believed in the magic (still do whoops), also was tall enough to go on the rides. I reckon 6-10ish is perfect time to go! because that way she still remembers it, not just from photos!
minimum is 3 years for Disneyland xD
Wow all the memories - it's crazy to see all your adventures and now you're moving on to the next adventure! You're doing an awesome job with the at home content you're putting out, I'm enjoying it as much as the travel vlogs. THE house is so beautiful guys ❤️
Take her when she's 5. that's old enough to appreciate it.
mhollick63 I took my granddaughter at seven and it was the perfect age . She still remembers almost everything.👍
Hi guys! Love the video!!
I think it's super cool that you asked your viewers to suggest things for your house :)
I'm not at all good at design, but there are 2 things that caught my eye:
1. The wheels on the baby troller seem way too small. When we got our troller one of the main points was to get big wheels (both large and fat) because a lot of the paved areas where you can stroll with the baby are a complete bummer for small wheels... maybe you guys want to take a look into that :)
2. In case Steven plans on spending considerably more time at his computer desk, the healthiest option for the eyes is to have a light behind the monitor(s) to balance out the feed of light that hits the eyes and keep them healthy for longer. But that applies for hard-core computer users mostly :)
Awesome house and an awesome life! Can't wait to see your new adventures and maybe meet sometime!
10:44 jess is getting smaller
thanks!! haha
We took our first born to Disney at 6 months but that trip was for us! Having raised 2 boys I'd say age 6 is a great time for them to experience that wow factor. Best of luck to both of you!
I wish you guys would make a video of y’all doing a scratch off/pin map and talk through the places like you did these pics!! Loved listening to all the memories and remembering past videos!!
I went to Disney World (FL) before I even turned 1! I don’t remember any of the trips until I was 5 (we traveled from the UK every year) but the magic is still there for many years! Love your videos
What a beautiful house, so happy you are also safe and well. Best wishes for you both and your baby. Disney: we took our daughter at age 4 and our daughter took our granddaughter at age 5, perfect ages for both. Love from Ohio, USA
Heyy Jess and Stephen( sorry if spelled incorrect)
I recently found your channel when doing research on conservation volunteering programs in South Africa (My home country). I was bingein your 2 months in SA and finished in less than 12 hours. I have fallen in love with your video's and can't wait to meet little girl.
You are sooo inspiring and I wish to travel almost as much as you in my far future♡♡
I took my God daughter to Disneyland Paris at age 6.i drove from the UK with her and my friend.we only did 1 day but was there from opening to the end of the fireworks.whe was so tired at the end of the day but she is now 20 and still remembers it.
Love all your pictures they are amazing. Stay safe.🤗
Love your new home! A good age to start going to Disneyland would be around the age of 3. Old enough to have some fun and for you to enjoy it as well. She may not remember it all but photos are wonderful memories as you well know!
