ahaha they probrably just don't wanna do it because its extra work. The proportions are all set so if you add less ice you have to add more milk and syrup base. thats my theory...

Yes. They give you a choice of what milk you want in your green tea latte. From 1 % to heavy cream.

I'm making this very recipe at home even though there's a Starbucks 5 min away. Probably won't feel the need to go to Starbucks anymore after this is over but maybe when traveling

I love this recipe! Here's a tip, if you don't want frozen blended beverages like this to separate, just add a pinch or two of xanthan gum. Bob's Red Mill or NOW Foods each sell high quality xanthan gum :)

I did your recipe and it tasted really good!!! My matcha came off a little strong so I just put some banana to reduce the strongness but other than that it was delicious!! I liked the base that you created for the drink. Thx for the amazing recipe.
I followed this recipe minus the vanilla extract & it was pretty close to the original! Actually tasted healthier & didn't make me feel guilty drinking it!
I just made this using David's Tea Mocha Matcha. I skipped the whipped cream because it really doesn't need it. Great recipe! Thank you for sharing.

Just made this but used 2 TBSP of brown sugar, 1 CUP unsweetened almond milk, and only 2 tsp of matcha - came out delicious!

I made oatmilk matcha latte using heapwell matcha and it turned out to be excellent.
I tried this recipe and it was fantastic not to mention very simple. I finally made use of the ceremonial matcha that's been sitting in my cupboard. Now I'm going to need another container since I've made this several days in a row now. For a dairy-free version, I used coconut creamer from the fridge isle and I also added boba (which was my first time cooking it). This recipe definitely tastes professional. Thank you for sharing!

really good! i just added another scoop of sugar and matcha because i like it pretty sweet. tip:add ice last so the it doesn't melt while putting other ingredients in

I've never had the Starbucks version but I made this one with Ito En Matcha Green Tea Sweet Powder and it was pretty good. If you're concerned about health just switch from regular milk to almond milk and use packets instead of sugar.

If you like this drink try adding 1 banana to it (also Starbucks can do this for you, you just have to ask) it really changes the flavor and makes it sweeter banana taste
I would have never guessed that adding banana to something would make it taste like... banana.

I usually add brown sugar instead of the brown sugar and I actually dissolve the matcha powder in hot water so there's so clumps in the drink! Tastes delicious I love this drink

My Matcha is Spinach,Kale, Green tea brewed 3 times, the powder, Vanilla Frozen Yogurt often dairy free version, ice, water, will use Cane, Coconut Sugar or stevia and blend.
