I'm addicted to matcha green tea lattes from Peet's Coffee but because of expense I make my own at home using EpicMatcha, cashew milk, raw unsweetened honey, tsp of coconut oil, sprinkle of cinnamon and a fourth tsp to less of vanilla extract. I blend it in my blender and heat up in the microwave for about 40 seconds and aaahh so good...... Hot or cold, it is delicious and gives me energy for an extended period of time without any jitters. My daughter drinks it in the mornings before driving to school and it helps her to stay awake during the drive. Yummy and great benefits! I used to drink bittersweet hot cocoa and bubble(tapioca) teas but this matcha has taken their place.😋😊👍❤️

I've been enjoying matcha for over a decade now as well as all the other classes of tea (green, white, yellow, black, oolong and pu-erh) for the majority of my life. Tea is one pastime I will always love and never ever give up for anything. I tend to drink up to 16 cups a day and own nearly a hundred different teas. Have you ever thought of doing a 101 video for all the six classes of tea? I think you should. Granted I personally know a lot about tea and have experienced hundreds of different teas but seeing your 101 videos applied to tea or its classes I'd love-simply because the more people who drink tea the better and healthier our world will be. Enjoying tea is both peaceful and meditative and I believe deepens our consciousness just like a great poem would.

If you care about the antioxidants benefits don't mix it with dairy. Same with coffee

I mix it with plant based milk. But I agree we shouldn't mix it with milk since it takes away the benefits of matcha.😊

Love everything! I'm wondering if you will do a comparison on Avocado Oil versus Olive Oil for those of us who don't religiously use Coconut Oil. I've been using the Avocado Oil sold at Costco for the last 2 years and haven't gone back since, as I find it universal. I know you're a "coco" girl ;), but I'm curious of your lovely opinion healthwise.

The best matcha I knew that taste good(notes of creamy, greenie, savory with end of sweetness) is uji hikari(made in Japan).Unfortunately, its quite expensive. So be prepare for your wallet.

Another video that makes it wrong. NEVER use hot water near the boiling point on matcha. The maximum temperature should be around 75-80°C or lower. You can always go lower, in fact, you can make matcha with cold water and some ice in a shaker. If temperature is too high you get too much of the bitter notes out of the matcha, plus you destroy many of the compunds that benefit your health. Antioxidants don´t react well to very hot water. If you´re making a matcha latter, use lower grade matcha. The addition of Milk will of course affect some of the benefits of matcha, but hey, you do it for the taste. Just don´t use ceremonial matcha for that purpose.
