- In this video we look at Senua's Saga Hellblade 2 on the RX 7900XTX with a Ryzen 5900X at 4K. We look at native 4K, FSR and I share my optimized settings for a more than doubling of your performance vs native 4K max.

I've been making some optimised videos as well. Everyone keeps showing game with maxed out settings with crappy frame rated. I'd rather see playable settings lol I have a 3080 if anyone is interested to see videos on that card runs with optimised settings. Not as exciting as a 4090 though lol but the game is still very playable with lesser hardware
Thanks for sharing and showcasing the optimized settings side by side with native, really useful. Also zero excuse not to add Fsr3 FG, personally I don't like to use FG but this is the one game I was looking forward to activating it since it's slow paced and the little latency won't matter at all but the extra smoothness would go a long way. I don't understand this decision.
Anyways I'll still be buying it to play over the weekend... or an afternoon lol, heard it's kinda small but hopefully worth it.
It's also on GP but yeah. Luke FZ's mod apparently works pretty good on it.
Will try those settings, was just playing mostly maxed out with AFMF for the first couple of hours and that was working well for me. Only just found a working FSR frame gen mod so I will try that with these settings and it should be perfect. Game looks amazing.

4K DLSS Quality + Highest settings = butter smooth on 4070ti Super
The game runs pretty decent on the 7900XTX at 4K considering it's one of the latest UE5 games and with some settings tweaks you can easily dial your performance to your desire.
Basically the same optimizations that I've implemented as well.
Very happy that this game was on GamePass. I ended up finishing it yesterday. I found all the symbols but missed 2 of the hidden trees :( I really enjoyed this game but if it wasn't on GP I would have waited for a sale. I found Chapter 6, the beginning of the "Into the Forest" mission to be very heavy. 4k DLSS Quality was getting only 60ish fps on a 4090.
yeah i was shocked to be averaging 57-60 fps on my 7900 Gre sapphire pure. its the only game that i didn't get high frames on.
same settings that i use. You should have shown the Reflection settings, thats very demanding and an easy win for a performance increase but it does detract from the visuals a bit

I hope the gameplay is good on this one. I liked the idea of the first game but it got really repetitive and the puzzles/fights kinda became a chore towards the end.
I think the combat is better here and those animations are awesome. Perfect parries matter, dodges do too for unblockable attacks although perfect parry works.
The puzzles so far have been easier but thats fine with me. I didnt really like the first game puzzles. I remember couple were frustrating and felt unnecessarily complicated.
It's an interactive cinematic experience.
@@TerraWare really love the concepts of perfect parries. 90% of the puzzles seemed basically the same to me by the end with the first game. lets see how this one is.
So bad they did not implement FSR3 FG in the game. that would have yielded 100FPS+ on 4k native with your optimized settings
this game seems to runs exactly the same as a 4080 super in 4k according to techpowerup's performance numbers and slightly slower at 1440p here this games global illumination seems to be very heavy on amd gpu's like my 7900 gre struggles on this game at native 1440p to get 50-65 fps
Right, I'd say the XTX is right the with the 4080 Super on average with some games doing better on one vs the other. Not surprised since at a quick glance my 4090 appears to be around 25 maybe 30% faster than this. That would place the XTX around a 4080 Super in this game.

Я просто включил tsr на динамическое разрешение, всегда 60 фпс. Разницу с нативной tsr 100% в 4к я не вижу. В отличие fsr на качестве, там сильно ухудшается изображение. Мерцание травы, пиксели видны, шум волосах.
