    I've had a few risers over the years and yes, they did make a big difference for me. When you get the proper posture on your bike, you can spend quite a bit more time on it and not be so fatigued. Great topic! Eric

    Getting old means getting risers. :) More upright is just ride and more comfortable. Have to agree. Thanks for sharing this and drop by mate.

    being comfy on a bike is as important as tyre pressures and a smooth throttle response. We don't get more flexible as we get older, so we have to adjust the bikes to work for ourselves.

    Whatever makes the ride comfortable, I'm all for it. I had risers on a previous bike, Kawasaki 1400GTR, which gave me a more upright seating position, which I like. Ride well. Cheers

    I read the title, and I thought "course they do, they make the handlebars higher" 🤣🤣
    I put a set on my triumph sprint 1050gt a few years back. Didn't change anything for me. My wrists still hurt.
    Stay safe bud.

    Hello.
    handlebar riser.
    yes. As you say, it's nice to have an easier riding position by setting it higher and closer than stock.

    First of all Hello to your Dad and Chris. Never had anything to do with risers but I had not considered that it would make a difference to the handling. I've never really had a proper full on sports bike so never really done loads of miles leaning forward. As for enjoying the comforts as you get older that's what the fairing and screen give me. Anyway another thought provoking topic and one that might affect me more as I head into my 44th year of road riding. Ride safe Tim.

    Great Video again Mate. Kindly Guide me Regarding your Prefered RENTHAL FATBAR Stage Level. What NUMBER is it before and what is it NOW? Does this 20mm Riser that I will Install affect the CABLES? Any Handling Difficulty?

    • @MRTPR
      @MRTPR  2 года назад

      Hello Mate The number I have the Renthal Bars set at is "0" . It was 0 before and now 0. No change. The 20 mm bar riser does not need any lengthening of cables. The 30mm ones I installed for this video needed a 30 ml adapter for the brake cable. The other cables were fine. With the 20ml risers the handling was good. With the 30ml risers , they also bring the handle bars 20ml closer to the rider , it does feel a little lighter in the front end but still handles very well. Makes a big difference. Thank you for dropping by and I hope what I have written makes sense.

    • @rackssanoy5569
      @rackssanoy5569 2 года назад +1

      @@MRTPR Now, it is Set @ No.2, It is OK, feels CLOSER to me but it is DOWN a Bit. So, If I Put the 20mm Bar Riser at the Same Set @ No.2, it will ONLY make it a Bit Higher, Right?

    • @MRTPR
      @MRTPR  2 года назад

      @@rackssanoy5569 yes correct I find that at the lower position the handle bars feel closer to me. I have tried it at 2 and not so comfortable for me. Everyone is different so there there is no right or wrong position. It really is trial and error , adjusting to the position that feels right for you. They are great bikes and I think are worth fiddling around until you find the position. I hope this helps. 😎
