This is a 'must have' tutorial if you are thinking of building a route for workshop. Learn this early on and avoid big trouble later. Catusjuice knows of what he speaks.
Minerman the Railfan I appreciate it Miner! Hey I remember you from the Steam Discussions! Awesome job on your route by the way! You are nearly at 1,400 subscribers =)
8 years later and it STILL SUCKS to lay track with banking. Trying to build a UK mainline with third rail electrics and OH MY GOD it makes me so damn mad!!
So my easement tool wont let me lay track. I put one part of the curve and then it will stop letting me add parts to it anymore and it wont let me click on the end of the part I laid even to do straight track. Why is this doing this?
I don't seem to have the same tools on my screen as you do! And I can't tell where you're moving the cursor because of my poor eyesight. I can't find the easement tool! And where is the tool I would use to superelevate the track?
Can you adjust gap between multiple tracks as it seems RL gap is slightly bigger than TS default? Edit: Forgot to add, really nice tutorial, thank you. :)
Hey brandon, i am going to be starting a summer project.. probably a very large route and i was wondering if you would give me feedback. I will be posting each part of my route. Thanks, Daniel
Train simulator route builder is the worst thing ever. So thank you for explaining this horrible tool so well and making route Building slightly less infuriating 👍

Thank you so much! This is gold. Answers pretty much all my questions about easements and superelevation and even other things I hadn't considered.
Thank you Brandon. Very useful tutorials! Thanks for your time explaining all these things!🧡
Gee thanks! the superelevation was bugging me, most useful TS video I've seen in a while.
i actually find this easy. it's not the other way of placing tracks but it's kinda easy to understand
Great help. Thank you!

Can these kinks in the tracks cause de derailments ??
Edit: also when I try add super elevation(to an existing route) it’s does nothing
The kinks can cause derailments in extreme situations.
Curves need to have been laid with easements in order to apply superelevation without kinks

Your videos are very helpful but one ?? Like for example when I'm laying a duel main line how do I space the track from each other
Where can I find the crossing tutorial?

Hover your mouse over the left and right sides of your screen. Click the Thumbtack icon on each flyout to pin it permanently.
One thing I haven't been able to figure out is how to make a perfect oval.
Can you show us how you made the custom gps locations?
Josef Walls The route markers? Yeah I can do that at some point.

they used the parallel track tool so they laid one track and made it parallel to other

Daniel Scott Not a problem.
This only works on the track u use
How we fix the Google map. My Google map is not working can u help me
you need to set up a billing now
Best way to avoid the bug is to use easements only at areas you need to and avoid using easements the whole route just around and at curves only
Says "Rye Connecticut" lays down UK tracks. Says "Rye Hastings".
