Saw him live in Chicago last night. Laughed exactly once, found his comedy contrived, boring and predictable. Can't understand why people think this guy is funny.

This is all love. I like edgy, dark humor, but Brian crushes it without hurting anyone's feelings. I respect that.
I told Brian's "Moosen" line to my 4th grade son so many times that he thought it was real. My kid came home from school with "Moosen" written on a paper as the plural for Moose, and didn't understand why he got it wrong. I had to explain to the teacher that it was my fault... and Brian's.
Brian Regan is a comical genius. His self defecating sense of humor surpasses the low budget jokes that other comedians try to pull off as art. This was not his best, but I still love his work. Those who appreciate him in whole see the deeper side of this performance.
I think he would lrefer to go into details and stretch a story out. 4 minutes is just enough to let people see your face again.

Brian Regan is one of my favourite people on the planet. He is able to make literally everything funny and he doesn't need to use any inappropriate references or language. He always manages to make me laugh, no matter what the subject. Peanut butter? Yes. Infinity edged pools? Absolutely. A food processor? Every time. A cardboard box? I discovered that joke five years ago and it still makes me laugh. He's honestly one of the absolute best I've ever encountered.

honestly i think the response this piece got was exactly what he was looking for. it's part of his new netflix special... i spent the first half thinking "oh god... he's lost it." and the second half laughing my ass off. then i realized... the dad bit in the middle... that dad really tied the room together.
I'll never forget this guy. He made me laugh a lot of times. Thank you Mr. Regan!

I have been watching Brian since I was 8 years old. I have loved Jimmy since preteen hormones kicked in and he was a lil hottie on SNL. I'm going to see Brian Regan live for the first time next year. To see that TWICE, Jimmy had Brian on his show for a quick standup is beautiful. I love these funny, good hearted guys. Some of the best celebrities we've got.

Twist ending: Turns out the guy being awakened every morning by "Problems, all kinds of problems" was ALL OF US.
0:50 - "Problems... all kinds of problems..." Brian is a genius for being able to take such a heated topic and spin it in a way that I think everyone regardless of political alignment could actually laugh together with.
One of the things I love about Brian is he's not afraid to broach the subject of politics, but he never, ever gives away his position. Thus is everyone happy. Very smooth :)

First of all, I'm a huge Regan fan. I know so many of his bits off the top of my head. I have to say though, I don't think a 4 minute spot is good for a comedian like him...or most comedians for that matter. So many stand-ups have a lot of substance to their jokes and need time to unravel things as opposed to feeling out a liberal ass crowd while trying to think of the best 2 line jokes that will land w/ them. My favorite comedian of all-time is Bill Burr and I've seen videos where he's got less than 10 mins but it's him doing bits from one of his hour long specials. And the jokes never land the same.
