not sure what those who gave this a thumbs down are into, even if you are a modern artist or abstractionist, you should be able to see the quality of this painting, it is not a run of the mill painting like many landscapes can be.
Words, fancy words, slather paint, smear paint. Then out of nowhere, a scenic, hyperrealistic picture appears! You're just too good! This painting ROCKS!
Ah Im such an emotional painter, I really have to stay in the mood to keep at it. Ill go for a few weeks too frustrated to pick up a brush. You are a great inspiration, and I want to thank you for your free videos.
Wow, do you understand how good you are.? If I didnt see you paint I wouldnt think it was even humanly possibly. Amazing. I hope to even have a glimpse of what excellence in my painting looks like. Now and then I have a flash of it and then i am back to trying to reach that point again. Gods speed!!
Andrew.. you are a master painter. but beyond that you have a wonderful energy of life about you. All the best to you and your loved ones. It's getting weird out there. Know they self and conquer fear. We can all do this if we stay connected to our true source of Life. We are It!
Andrew! I am so happy tonight because I finally figured out how to watch my wonderful wave tutorials from you! I am 66 and probably a little bit unfamiliar with how to download and change the type of download to an app that I can watch it from! I finally got it though! I sure recommend your tutorials to anyone that wants to really learn in detail! What an absolutely great teacher you are. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!
Andrew, I pray you & your family stay safe. I’m praying you don’t get accused of having Covid. Saw the news about a camp in New Zealand for those that have COVID and if you never check out to not have it you have to stay more. Now how are you to recover from the virus if you’re thrown in with others coming in all the time that have it. That’s reinfection all over, & over.
From e really small island in Italy, to a big island and to a big Master.I'm just a beginner, an old one.Thank you to much for your spectacular video, and greetings from Capri
Hier ist die Grenze zwischen Malerei und Fotografie erreicht! Lediglich die Zeit der Bilderschaffung macht noch einen wirklichen Unterschied. Fantastisch! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Dear Andrew, I tripped over myself to join you on Patreon, so excited to support you. I love your videos and as the proud owner of Milford/ Kimberley and Painting Waves, I love how you dont hold back on all your techniques and knowledge. Love that sense of humor!! You are the very best!!!
Greetings from Macedonia and thank you for sharing your experience with us. I love your painting style and the way you present it. I wish you all the best and I'm impatiently waiting for your new posts.
I'm painting an epic park painting, after a rocky start I'm getting the hang of it. Epic paintings totally rock. Layer by layer, like stepping stones, I got around to chisel all the stones in the creek I'm painting. As always, that was a rock solid tutorial Andrew, keep it up mate!
May I ask you how large your canvas is ? I'm preparing to paint the Milford Sound and wondered how large the canvas should be to get the full epic scale of the Sound. I know there is a grid and I can go by that. I got a 1000 x 800 canvas, but looking at it , it seems to me that I'm squeezing the painting in there. Any advise ?
@@arielrgh I'm asking g you. I saw that you said you are painting one of his big epic paintings. I don't want to put too much pressure on Andrew as I'm sure he's got enough on his plate as it is. There are limited sizes of canvases I can buy here in Malaysia, but I can get one measuring 1220 x 920 , or 36" x 48" I'm ordering the Tiscler brushes and some oil paints from overseas. Its early days yet, but till I get it all sorted I'm mulling over if my canvas is the right one before I buy it. I live 400 km from the nearest to Own that has an art shop, so everything is taking too long and its very frustrating. So, Thanks if you can reply to me.
@@africo9104 I'm painting an epic, but my own, not one of Andrew's paintings. It's 120x80cm. How epic or large you want it depends too in the space you have where you paint, it is important to be able to look at it from a distance. Should you actually want to take a look at the work in progress, it's in my Instagram stories - @arte.arielrgh
Oh WOW Mr Tischler beautiful. Thank you so much for support and these tutorials. Especially when people find it more difficult to find classes in their area due to Covid. I was wondering though. I’m having problems finding a varnish which doesn’t gas you out of the house. My husband has asthma and we live in a bungalow so the varnish fills the whole home. As a result I don’t varnish many of them. Can anyone suggest a low odour varnish? Is there such a thing? I have already tried the one made of lavender. It’s very expensive and although it smells better. It’s very strong and lasts for hours. I use this very rarely. At least with that we won’t get many moths, ha-ha as they hate lavender. I don’t know what to try. Is it OK not to use varnishes at all? Even the temporary ones smell very badly. Thank you.
Thanks for sharing your expertise Sir Andrew. Some artists afraid to share their techniques how they'd do it specially what color's best for certain applications etc. But you bravely shared it to us your followers.
Explaining when you let it dry and using transparency is huge! It's something most people don't do. And it just seems like their continously painting. Thanks!
OMG to have that scenery with mountains and a forest near me,I’m in the UK and although we have some beautiful landscapes none of them compare to these. Envious? Jealous? Hell yeah. Beautiful painting as usual Andrew.👌🏼👌🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Watching this video again - great tips on starting with mid-tones and building by layering and adding in the deepest shadows and highlights in the later layers. So helpful to watch the strokes and hear your brush recommendations for particular finishes.

岩の質感が素晴らしいです。インパストを巧みに使ってあそこまでの表現ができるとは…
岩に入れた茶色はキツすぎないかと思いましたが、引きで見るとちょうどいいように計算されているんですね。
