I am trying to capture rocky outbreaks on a steep hillside. The colours (color) is predominantly white, grey and black streaks, similar to chalk with grass and small shrubs interposed. Ok, the most important take away from this video, so important that I paused it to come comment, is your words about never giving up and pushing through to the end, even when something looks horrible.
I started painting last week after decades of wanting to. I have been stuck on painting #4 for days now. I keep fiddling with this or that, become happy with something, screw it up, fix it, screw it up some more, fix again...but I haven't given up! I will conquer this inverted cereal box I've converted into my canvas. I will finish my snowy pond, and move on with my life!
