As others have mentioned. Meg’s FF, Ultima PGP, Jetseal, Powerlock, Blackfiire UPP, Fourstar UPP. Fantstic idea for a series Brian. Thanks for taking the time to do this.
@Springwater786 - In general, I find Optimum wax, sealant and ceramic coatings more resistant to water spotting. Last summer we had to park the gf's Jeep in the driveway. In years prior I'd be fighting off water spots, but not that day. It's coated with Gloss Coat, and I had just topped with Ultra Ceramic Seal. She's the one who noticed!
I think you should compare and old school sealant like Finish Kare 1000p Hi-Temp Paste Wax. This is a very underrated sealant that lasts under harsh conditions. It would be nice to see how it compares.

Im not sure how you figure the WG beat OS in the beading/sheeting test with the power washer. The OS side "held" less water. I didnt think it was good to have beads sitting on your paint? I thought youd rather have the water sheet off?
At 9:44, essentially the conclusion, Opti-Seal is beading really nice too. For my money, I'll take the Opti-Seal, although the Wolfgang looks like an excellent product too. I love the application and flexibility of Opti-Seal. Ever since I learned how to apply it I've gotten more durability than when I first started experimenting with it in 2017.
I want more. *Excellent* series all around. Wouldn't mind seeing how Finish Kare 1000P fares, and Duragloss 105. I like the Wolfgang and the Opti products, BTW. Kinda surprised by the results. Nicely done.
Can't go wrong with this Wolfgang sealant. My fav so far because it's so easy to buff off and the water beading is amazing. Going to compare it to the Power Lock Plus next though.
Hey Brian. I have an idea for an additional test. Afrer the sealant is applied and cured, place blue painters tape and see if it'll stick to either one of the sealants being tested. I know with Rejex the tape just rolls off and falls off instantly.
Wolfgang Sealant is still a beast! I use it on the wife’s Explorer ST. This sealant topped with Pinnacle Souveran wax is a very good and popular combo on dark colored vehicles. Been using this combo since 2015.
Nice comparison. What do you think of the newer WG Sio2 sealant? Do you recommend application and/or removal with a DA polisher or by hand? Also, is it appropriate or beneficial to go over it with any wax?
I prefer sealants, over coatings but Yesterday, I used Nanoshock and magic eraser on my windshield. Came off rather easy with a nice dry micro, and it cleaned it pretty good without streaking. Now the test is to see what happens when it rains.

When I do find a can of it, it's runny and the top is dirty although it still appears to work. Back in the day it was more paste like. I saw your other video stating the WG was a wax/sealant hybrid. That makes sense because it seems easier to apply and remove vs. the LG I used to use. Eh, it seems to work good enough.

Not sure if Corona is considered a sealant or not but that would be a good start, also some of the older product vs new ( Eurotech 7000 polish and glaze ) it’s also claiming to be a sealant .

If I am entering a car in a car show and want the best shine is there any other coating you recommend prior to using Wolfgang sealant. The paint does not have swirls. Thank you for the comparison
great test comparison. would be nice to leave it out in the elements for 3 months . wash it and see the results. i use wolfgang on my weekend warrior. lasts a long time because it spends a lot of time in the garage. going to try it in the spring on my daily driver. thanks for the video.

This guy is a wolfgang guy. Did you see how close the second time with the power washer on the paint? Not even a second try on the opti seal. I used Opti Seal on my boat last year and it lasted all the way until the next time I waxed. Which was 9 months later and the water was still beeding. I live in HOT Florida too. Nice try with slick test.

I can see that this is not going to give us the best product in the end... wasn't too happy to see how the test was performed and what characteristics were the ones the tester found "the best".
I don't think it mattered in this case. It looked like most of is flashed away before he could wipe it all off. Also, it was clearly still there at the end, beading just about as well as the wolfgang.

New formula Opti-Seal performs considerably better then the version you showcased here. New formula is worth revisiting!
Does it sheet more than beading? I'm after a product that doesn't bead much as I find beading products leave water spots on my black car.

I've use lots of sealants and so far Blackfire Crystal Seal is tops. Incredible shine and lasts!

Wolfgang ain't cheap but they are excellent products.They use some very slick polymers.
Wolfgang uber is the best multi product out there.Great for rinse less wash and as an awesome Quik Detailer.

When I use the recommended one squirt per panel....Its like nothing was applied. I gave a case of that stuff away. no good.

I would like to see nanoskin seal nano, seal & shine hybrid , seal & shine & jet sealant.
You do realize optiseal is a wipe on walk away right, no need to wipe off. Also, you used a lot more than was needed.
And it performed poorly still. I only like Opti seal on glass or door jams/sills, wheels
