    Our first wide cut mower was a gravely 1334 belt drive walk behind. 16 years later it finally blew the engine. We just put a new engine on it and its back up and and running. Have have bough other mowers like the wright 32 hydro. We will not be buying another wright because of very bad customer service. Had a few break downs with the wright with just 2 days of use and just a very bad experience with them. The gravely never had any troubles ever. So will be buying from gravely next time.

    Gravely makes a nice machine. We've run various Gravely's over the last 10 years with very minimal issues and they continue to be a main stay in our fleet, combined with walker mowers. We currently are running the Pro-Turn 460 and Pro-Stance 52, along with a T25i & T23 Walker.

    I have had and used this mower for about 6 weeks now Some reviewers have complained that the battery level drops from 100% to 70% in just 5 minutes. That has been my experience, too, but I have mowing 2.75 acres with that 75%, so I am still content. I used to pull a wagon when not mowing to pick up tree limbs and transport 10 gallon potted plants, etc. When in towing only mode, I can go for hours without seeing the level ever drop below 70%. While mowing, I do use the low drive and low cutting speed settings, which definitely extends battery life.

    I’ve got a zt 48 has with the Kawasaki 24 horse with 850 hours. All I’ve done to it is change the oil, filters and spark plug. And a transmission drive belt once. It’s been a great mower that has taken all the abuse I’ve been able to dish out.

    Brian, had a gravely 48" zero turn for 20 yrs. where I last worked. The back of the seat did the same thing twice. Guess they never fixed that issue. Spindles not the best. Engine never a problem & always cut good. All in all a good machine

    From my personal experience, and the various conditions i mow, and different turf types i mow in, gravely is my choice hands down. Ive had scag, exmark, and hustler. I run a simple , no frills zthd 48 and it had outperformed even the lazer z i had. I still have my exmark metro, but when it dies, it will be replaced with a prowalk

    I have a gravely pro turn 160.... Biggest faults I have at 1400 hours....no grease zerks especially on the front deck mounts and enuff wear it's starting to showing up in the cut....and on the belt tensioners....just replaced those bushings...kinda minor stuff but had Scags with 2000 plus hours and little to no wear but they were greasable...

    Had our bobcat procat rs with the airfx deck for 2 months on so far on a demo. If that is anything like the gravely we had run and run fast. We kept ours one season and sold it. It spent more time in the shop than on our trailer with just little problems

    Brian, I was trying to find your older video that you did on lubing the head of a grass trimmer. I couldn't find it. I'm not sure if there is a way that you could put a search box on your channel as you are getting quite a few over the years and it would be beneficial for subscribers like me to be able to go back and reference material. I have an Echo trimmer that I was trying to see if there was a lubing area on the head. I do know that you are a Stihl guy now. Eventually, I would like to go to Stihl as well.

    • @CopperCreekCuts
      @CopperCreekCuts 6 лет назад

      Hi Perry. If you look near the trimmer head there should be a big headed bolt near the point where the head and shaft attach. If you remove that bolt you can pump grease in there.
