I was in extreme lower back spasm and pain and couldn’t move at all. But your video really helped me get off the floor with no one around. Thank you for sharing the information.👍🏼

Thankyou - The pain is intense! And the positions you taught were how eventually got up. My word , those spasms are nothing I wish to feel again! Much better now, but still very sore.

I have back spasm about 2-3 times a year and this point I’m so scared when I know one is coming. I have learned from trial error what works and what makes it worse. Everything she showed is exactly what I do to help myself and reduce the pain. Always listen to your body and just ask the people around you to help you when you ask or they might hurt you.

Best video out there. When you are having back spasms the slightest movement is painful. You are pancaking and scared. Not sure how you’ll get up off the floor, go the restroom or get into bed. Great tips to help us remember to use your arms or another person to take pressure off your back muscles. Very much appreciate you noting how these position changes can take some time due to the pain. Thank thank. Most other videos told us to stretch during an active spasm 😒

I have an impingement at the L3 and S1 and was silly enough to try to stretch out on the floor after a particularly rough day, and thanks to your video I finally managed to get up off of the floor and into my chair. Thanks.

After spending 8+ hours on the floor in EXCRUCIATING pain, with the help of this video and my GF I was able to SLOWLY work my way into a chair. This lady KNOWS what she is talking about! Thank you so much for keeping me company (along with my GF) and helping me in this horrible time. Now to make my way to the toilet and then bed.

Do you know why you had the back pain? I had that pain... face down... extremely bad episode back in 2017-18. My phone was in a chair next to me (literally just a slight roll and grab it) and took me about 4-5hours just grab my phone to call someone. Was a couple more hours for my gf to get off work and get here and a few more hours for "us" to get me into the tub. The part of a persons helping is almost impossible! Horrible....I know the pain... face down.... and don't move!!! Rollover? Then what?!? ... stay face down?!? Lol.. scary!!! I've had many issues since but nothing that extreme but close. What was wrong or do you know?

having AWFUL back spasms now...down for 5 days so far. when should I begin introducing walking and some exercises? the pain is pretty much subsided (tordol + lyrica). using hot/cold packs as recommended.

Hi there, you need a diagnosis for your back spasms. If it is due to a disc then you need to rest longer than 5 days. Otherwise you need to bring in movement as soon as you are able to. Back spasms are often caused by tight muscles in the first place so movement will help to free them up, and lack of movement can make it worse. It's entirely dependant on your diagnosis. Warmest wishes, Coby

thx for taking the time to respond :)
I injured my back in 1992 - lifting a freezer going downstairs. felt a pop/tear (ligament or tendon I'm guessing). Had an MRI done on it around 2004 after repeated flare ups over the years. L4/L5 disc bulge was the doctors analysis.
This time I drove 26 hrs over 2 days and after getting back to destination went to work. 3 days later I was locked up in muscle spasms. Been down since.

Hi, so you have most likely irritated your previous disc bulge then. Watch my playlist on how to manage a disc bulge - that will be more appropriate for your situation. Warmest wishes, Coby ruclips.net/video/REvslJcOSAM/видео.html

I'm going for an MRI hopefully end of week, early next week to get to the bottom of it.

MRI showed 3 disc herniations - medium grade l5/S1. awaiting docs recommendations as to next steps.

Hey, don’t worry, she will be fine. But do call a doctor straight away to see if she needs some diazepam. She needs to get a diagnosis from them to make sure it is a back spasm. The docs will be able to help her x
