Doesn’t deserve anywhere near the hate he gets. Guy played his heart out. Beat up and still made plays. Arguably a top 5 QB in the NFL from 2006-2016. Yet so many Cowboys fans don’t like him. I just don’t get it. Only thing that made the Cowboys relevant during that time span.

@@DC4L99 Dak?! LMAO!! Every time Dak blows a playoff Jerry makes changes. Since 2017 Jerry has changed every position on that team. Even changed the coaching staff twice. Still getting the same result. Oh wait... Jerry hasn't changed that QB position though. Maybe it's time for Jerry to bring in some competition at that position. I said it then and I still say it... Jerry should not have paid Dak that money and let him test the market. QBs are in the draft every year. It's not hard to find a QB to get you to the playoffs. Just look around at all the QBs that have been in the Super Bowl that were drafted after 2016.
Some times it comes to a point, you just have to accept that what you see is exactly what it is. Dak is the same guy today that we saw in 2016 except they he's throwing many more picks. Romo threw fewer as he got older. The team got better and he didn't need to take as many risks.

Say what you want , he didn’t have a lot of playoff wins, he didn’t win a Super Bowl,
As a cowboys fan seeing Tony romo from 06 to when he retired, he always admired me. A guy who played the game to best of his ability. Who fought countless injuries, and put his health on the line to finish the game. I don’t care what people or sport analysts say, Tony romo was a great player, I loved watching him play. Just a humble guy not like these new QBS in the league. I respect and admire dak Prescott too but Tony Romo I wish he got his chance to take us to the Super Bowl does not get enough credit as a player.

That 2013 game at Washington is my favorite of his, with his 2011 game at San Fran being my second. A quarterback who played with heart and gave it his all to win it for the team. Such a shame he never won a Super Bowl with Dallas, but poor defense, and offensive line and a terrible head coach really hurt the good teams he was on, 07 and 14 being those good teams.

It’s hard because in 2016, I don’t think we could have beat the falcons even if we beat the packers
But in 2014, we could have beat the Seahawks because we had already done so, then there’s the argument of if we could have beat the patriots, but regardless, getting to see Romo in a championship game would have been amazing. What could have been, that would have made my childhood

    • @TheRexrapper

I think in Dallas we would have beaten the Falcons. Part of the reason we lost to GB is because we came out slow after the bye week plus Garrett not playing the starters the full game in week 17. If they snuck that game out I think they are more prepared for Atlanta. Now would they have beaten the Patriots in the Superbowl? Probably not.

When a 1st down or TD ends the game, but the receiver didn't catch it.
A game winning TD is called back for a penalty.
    Game winning/tying FG is blocked.
Game winning FG is nullified by the Cowboys coach icing the kicker.
    Bad calls.
Turnovers by OTHER players and not Romo.
