Looking forward to watching your progress, love the way you present these vids, Ive got the Airfryer, thanks to you, now going to see what you cook next with the instant pot. Thanks a lot. Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪
Hi , I am new to your channel , I just wanted to say how refreshing it is to watch someone real , down to earth . I already own the ninja dual air fryer and have enjoyed learning along with you on what works or doesn’t 😂 I am now thinking of purchasing the instant pot and look forward to seeing what I could do with it . However I am a little nervous of pressure cookers .
Hi Carol 👋 I think keeping it real is so important. I've watched and tried so many recipes that have been over edited and just don't work but look good in filtered pictures 🤣 To start with I'll be doing slow cooker type meals so hopefully that includes everyone as I know you all don't have muticookers then slowly introducing the odd meal with the pressure cooker settings 💜 Thank you for being here and hope you have a lovely day x
Hi Lindz, A few questions for you. Id like to make a probiotic food at 36C/99F, lower than the usual temperature for yogurt. Someone said it would be possible using the sou vide function and setting the temperature. Can you confirm? Also, you mentioned baking potatoes in it. So it works like a mini oven too? Wow!
Hi Lindz, it's lovely to see you again, you look lovely and well ❤. How brilliant is this, I want one but I'm paying off for my ninja for a year 🙈. Although I just saw Asda have their own for £50 but I'd read the reviews first. I'm looking forward to your lovely delicious recipes. Take care love Sarah ❤Xx
Hiya Sarah 💜 Thank you, lovely. I've just finished paying for my ninja, so I know the struggle. We don't have asda here, unfortunately. Do you have a slow cooker ? As most of the meals I'll be doing, you'll be able to do in it as I plan on talking through different ways depending on what you have. Hope you have a lovely week, and thank you again for your wonderful support Xx
@@LindzandLifeHi Lindz, yeah I've got a slow cooker, I can't wait to use it again. I know it's awful having to pay things off monthly but what can you do 🤔. It will be nice to get some different ideas for the slow cooker, I just use it for stews, mince and casseroles. I never know what else to put in it and I'm sure there's a million other recipes out there 😂. Love always Sarah ❤️Xxx
@sarahtomlinson9863 I'm looking forward to the cosy comfort meals. The best part of the dark depressing winter 🤣 I'll be starting off with some basic meals, but I always love to hear how different other people do things. Catalogues are dangerous in my case. I've banned myself now from getting anything else on credit/ my catalogue unless I really need something. Big hugs lovely 💜x
Hi Brenda 👋 There definitely not as bad as the old on the hob type pans, but can get a little steamy if you are doing an immediate release. A good way to combat that is to put it under the cooker hood or I crack the window a little. Most things I make using the pressure cooker setting I tend to leave for a while after it's finished so that the steam isn't as bad. Hope that's helped a little x
Looking forward to your slow cooking. I had a Pressure King Pro (before I went Ninja) & I love slow cooked food but I always struggled with sauce. Usually, the sauce would not thicken during cooking & using flour & thickener wasn't great so I'm looking forward to some tips for stews casseroles etc with a nice thick meaty sauce.
Hi Mark 👋 I'm feeling a lot of pressure now 🤣🤣 I'd love the ninja one. It's on my wishlist, so it might make it to my kitchen. I've a lot of ninja products 😳 I'm looking forward to some nice comfort food dishes now the winter is looming. Have a great week x
I got one on an incredible clearance, but it has sat here for a year. I plan on opening it this week because my rice cooker finally died. Now I have to learn to use it!
Hiya lovely, great to hear you got a bargin ❤ It's always a little scary when having to learn something new I had a few fails in the beginning 😂 I very rarely use the preset buttons now I've learnt it more. And I've no doubt that you'll love it Xx
Hi Sheila 💜 I must say I prefer the instant pot brand. I bought a ninja version, and although it is good, there are a few things I really dont like about it. This one in the video is the mini at only 3l, and it's used near daily so handy and I've also got the 5.7l with separate lid I did try giving it away but it came back so I took that as a sign It's meant to stay 🤣 I'm currently looking for a non stick pot for it as it does like to burn a little in the stainless one with certain dishes. I hope to get back to doing regular videos using the multi cookers soon 👌x
Hi lindz you should get paid for such a good and honest video on this instant pot multi cooker.. I have the ninja air fryer and im looking forward to you cooking and i can see.myself now I need to get this cause of your honest message our review thanks lindz from England keep up the good work 💯👍
Hi Savi 💜 All your comments are so lovely. Thank you 😊 I'd love for instant pot to sponsor me, but it's doubtful as I'm slightly to honest 🤣 There's some great deals this coming week on amazon I have to keep my eyes closed or I'll end up with something else x
Hi Lindz I have one I got from aldi last year but don't really use it so looking forward to your new videos. I hope your ok your sounding a little flued ❤
I’m interested in getting one of these. I’ve been checking out reviews. My question is how long does it take to come up to pressure. BTW I just stumbled across you channel yesterday so playing catch up. Loving your airfryer vlogs.
Hi Ellen 👋 thank you for being here. It really depends on what you're cooking. For example, when I do rice, I use hot water, and it's around 5 mins to come up to pressure. But a little joint of beef can maybe take 10+ minutes. Also, the bigger your pressure cooker, the longer it can take. I hope this helped a little Xx
Hi Lindz love your vlogs, just wondering where you got the sealing rings for your instant pot duo mini, I thought I would get the same ones for mine, you never know when you might need them eh! Looking forward to going through your vlogs especially instant pot. Thanks Lindz
Hi Lovely 👋 I got mine from amazon. If you click on the description and on to amazon favourites you'll find them. I have to have a few. I learnt the hard way I made a curry, then a few days later made rice pudding and the smell from the seal soaked into the rice it was interesting to say the least 😅 so now I make sure to use different ones x
Hi lovely, Is it the comparison between the ninja multi cooker or the air fryer you're looking for ? I know the Ninja 11 in 1 is a lot more to buy and uses more electricity, but it has several different features. And my instant pot is only the tiny 3L, so I can't really compare. Just research I've done on price and electricity usage x
@@LindzandLife yes, I bought the ninja air fryer oven, which is roughly the size of a large microwave, and I was wondering whether to buy the instant pot. Can you cook a large joint of meat in it, and if so how quick does it cook and what are the results? Sorry loads of questions ❤️
@dawnc1419 Hi Dawn, I'd say you'd need a bigger model instant pot. I had the 5.7L one before my little one and found it amazing, but 2 big for just the 2 of us. Pressure cooker mode is super fast compared to the oven and more tender. Definitely does take a bit of getting used to. Cooking times will depend on the size of the joint. Just an example, pork roast is approx 15mins per 500g chicken is around 9mins per 500g high pressure hope this helps some x
Hi Lindz. I am doing some research on buying the 3-quart Instant Pot versus 6 quarts as it is only me, i.e. widower. with occasional friends and family visits, plus also there are times when doing a whole chicken. In one of your videos, you mentioned that the 3 quart is fantastic, but you are going back to the 6 quart, and I think you mentioned there were 2 of you. Is there any reason for that other than batch cooking? Although now single, I would be doing batch cooking. Thanks as always. Oh P.S. do you have a method for say doing a pork shoulder with juicy crackling . ?
@craiginker6732 Hi Craig 💜 I think the 3qt is perfect. I use mine nearly every day and wouldn't be without it. I can easily get 4 portions from it of stews and things ( without potatoes, I do them separately for stews and casserole), and then I freeze 2 portions. Its perfect I only pull my bigger pot out when doing large batch cooking or a joint or whole chicken. As I'm sure you've seen, I have the ninja and the 6qt Instant pot, and I have to make the hard choice to let one go. I hope that helps x
@craiginker6732 A small pork joint will fit in the 3qt I'd be inclined to cut the fat off and do it separately in the air fryer. I've seen someone stuff a whole small chicken in 1 too I've not tried it, but i think I will have ago and see 😅 x
@craiginker6732 Unfortunately, not or I'd be off with my mini Instant pot explorering. Health and finances have stopped my dream. When I win the lotto, I'm getting a ready-made one 🤣x
Hi Suki 👋 I'd love to try the ninja foodi ( it's actually on my wishlist ), but apart from a little research, I can't say if it's better. I know it's a higher wattage, so it would cost a little more to use. I think I played it safe when picking mine as instant pot have years of experience and cheaper. I love my instant pot i do pasta bolognese in it too so good and only one pot to clean i do a fantastic chicken teriyaki rice bowl i would definitely recommend
I saute the mince then I add a bag of pasta then one jar of sauce and then fill the jar with water and pour down the side so the sauce stays on top of the pasta and the I pressure cook it for about 7 to 8 minutes I do half the time it says on the packet and then release the pressure when beeps and comes out well if it is a bit loose just put the lid on and leave for 5 minutes hope that helps 😊
