Thank you so much for this video! I am a grandmother raising a few of my grandchildren. I have an 8 quart and ❤ it. Replacing a crockpot in a rice cooker this black Friday and I decided to go with Insta pot mini. So again, thank you for this video
That's exactly what I used to do in my big one, whole chickens. But I've moved away from that to chicken portions, and a mix of thighs and breasts in the small one works just fine, and it's surprising how much the small one can fit.
I saw a good Black Friday deal on the mini so I'm ordered one. $49.95. This will be my first pressure cooker but thankfully, RUclipsrs like yourself make plenty of content for me not make mistakes like opening the valve and spraying soup all over my ceiling!
I have both a 3l and a 6l. The 3l gets used most for my family of three. Porridge, rice, boiled eggs, vegetables and just enough soup or stew for three people. I use the 6l for yoghurt in pots, batch cooking, sous-vide and air frying.
Thank you for this video, it was great timing. I just today was debating whether to get the 3 quart or 6 quart, the 6 quart is on sale on Amazon prime today. I’m getting the 3 quart, I’m cooking for one.
I love the instant pot too. I have the 6 and 3 quart. There is a channel called The Cooking Family. I think they have 5 or 6 Instant Pots. But they have a family of 9. I love how it cooks pasta and hard boiled eggs. You can do almost anything in these pots. Also it uses very little energy as well.
Thank you for this! I may have just fatally wounded my 6 qt after 4 years 😢 Although I loved it, I think the smaller one will work better for me now. 😊

I´m glad it helped. Hope you get as much use to of your mini as I do :)
I have both sizes. The mini is perfect for two people but I use the big one for whole chickens. I wouldn't be without either,
Me too....it was hard leaving one behind. Thanks for clarifying you find the mini perfect for two people, I'm sure that will help others to know :)

@@jmsuther01 sounds perfect 😊 I’d love to have both sizes again.
@ the 3l is also energy saving for daily use as it only uses 700watts.
An excellent, excellent review! A lovely soothing manner of speech too.
@@gnostie glad you like it :)

I agree...I was nomadic for over two years and used mine with my Bluetti power station :)
Nice video ! Please do more cooking video´s with the 3 qt .
@@Wijkkie I don’t have time. There are plenty of channels on RUclips for that.

How many sweet potatoes do you think could fit in there?
