I feel like it was just a way for you tell in campaign which enemy jun was prioritizing or where he was aiming in general. But maybe they cut some scripted elements from nightfall or decided it was too linear/handholding for the final game?

probably lag or modding. it's the default weapon for monitors, implemented by copying and pasting the focus rifle data, though it counts as a different weapon. forge removes the weapon automatically. however, modded gametypes can force you into a monitor body and if they do, you'll have the beam indefinitely unless you swap it out or the gametype script removes it from you halo chess forces you into a monitor but i think it also removes the weapon
Pleease, make a comparison between the Blue Prometheans from Halo 4's Forerunner mission to the Orange Prometheans from the rest of the game and see if they are any different. They're probably the same, but it would make a nice video.
I think the just sniper is somewhat close to a Hunter Attack eventually it was “working” concept of a weapon or for a weapon idea that got scrapped or worked on in H4 or so.
Falcons do have an increased motion sensor range, but the number by it still reads “25m” as in 25m range when active, so it could still require entering the falcon. I don’t think that weapon shows it on its own.

Just because you can use these weapons with mods doesn't mean they were ever planned to be usable. It's just easier to program these AI weapons the same way as player ones so the same code can be used to define actions like firing and reloading to work the same between the player and NPCs, then just set a flag to define if the player can pick up that weapon or take it from an ally.

so you said you can't get Jorges gun in game without cheats I call bull, because when I first got halo reach on the 360 my game was wierd to put it I've had a few odd occasions on that game one of which on the first mission where your waiting for Kat to close the door i went up on the railing and low and behold Jorges gun was there I didn't get to use it because i immediately died but I had it and haven't been able to replicate it since but it doesn't matter because that copy of reach was just odd I guess

Jorge's chaingun seems to make u walk faster than the normal one.
I think Jun’s sniper rifle was going to be used on the mission Nightfall.
Some of these weapons remind me of the legendary weapons from Fallout 3. A step up from the ordinary. Pretty cool

fun fact about Jorge's turret: you move at normal speed, not the restricted speed that normal turrets force you to.
The same way that the red laser in first person is the Spartan laser one the green laser in third person is the Target Locator laser.

You could do it by holding down the trigger before you turned into the monitor. You would shoot a focus rifle beam for a second

Using Georges Machine gun was the best, when I used it, it felt unique!
As someone who mods Halo 3, I can confirm that the Jackals Shields are not weapons in that game.

There's a modded gamemode that lets you spawn unarmed and works online.
also if you just use Reach Variant Tool to edit a gametype and remove both starting weapons, you just start unarmed.
