With the falcon, I had a lot of fun on New Alexandria seeing how tight of a space I could land it in. When getting to the night club, I get in that enclosed area outside the door and park it as close as possible.
You can even take the falcon around the back of the bugger-filled building and clear out the courtyard by flying up and in through the opening. I've been doing that part this way for years.
One thing I love about using the Hornet when fighting the dual Scarabs in Halo 3, there is a different way you can use them that a lot of players don't realize. You can take the one the pilot lands if you want. But you could hop onto the side of the other one and the pilot will then fly you to one of the Scarabs to land you on top of it. Once you dismount, the Hornet will fly off a short distance until you destroyed the core of that Scarab. It would then fly back in to pick you up and immediately fly you to the other Scarab to do the same thing as the first.
