I think I've got a tin of bacon grill in my war cupboard somewhere 😉 I'm 51 now and I suspect like yourself I was brought up on a lot of tinned foods, one of my uncles used to do a really nice corned beef/mixed veg curry. Also used to have a corned beef spaghetti dish. No idea why tinned foods get such a bad wrap nowadays we've survived and enjoyed them for many years and in a lot of cases canning something was a preferential way of storage etc. Great review 😊 Paul
Yeah Papp you're right... Frying is always best for tinned meat products like this Morrisons Bacon Grill pal... Steve definitely did the right thing here mate... As the Bacon Grill, Egg, & Cheese Muffin looked delicious... 😋 Well done Steve... I'm very hungry now my friend... I could just eat a couple of those right now too... 🤤😋All the very best... Cheers guys. 🍺
Hi Steve , another excellent review here of the Bacon Grill ! I agree with you it is far nicer cooked than straight from the tin ! It really is a tasty product and I quite like the saltiness ! have a great Halloween mate :-)
Well it's only 65% pork plus 7.8% salt I'm thinking best stick to Pek chopped pork that fries well and is 90% pork and it gets better it's £1 for a 300 gram tin in Morrisons till 5th November so grab a bargain while stocks last
Winding the key on tins like this are always the ‘adult’ thing to do. Lord only knows what would happen if the kids did it! Lol😂 I’m treating myself this week to a spam and cheese fritters this week. Wish me luck 😂 🍀
I tried this last night with my daughter but not reviewed it i will buy some more again and review it £2 tho i think i prefer spam 😊 and i did get a few muffins other month to do a comparison but my brother helped him self thank god he out so i will buy different muffins to compare next few weeks i love my own budget frozen sausages and add salt and pepper for seasoning to make the McDonald's fake MCMUFFIN 😂 great review 😊

Totally agree tin food is great😅😅
Not all tinned food is good, I'm finding that out, I've already recorded up to Day 5 🙂
@@ivinsp thanks Paul, glad you liked the video and thanks for the corned beef suggestions 🙂
100% agree with you that cooking these bacon grills is the way mate. I tried it using a tin of Plumrose Bacon Fry, superb!
I know you've tried quite a few similar tinned meat products, I think it's something I might investigate.....

Almost a homemade Sausage & Egg McMuffin. Nice one Steve, nice video 👌
Thanks 👍
Tinned bacon not something ive throught about looking for a tin, I like the muffin creation! That egg looked perfectly cooked for it 👍
The perfect egg was down to the egg ring, not my cooking skills! 😁
I love bacon grill and Spam. I was brought up on the stuff!
I'll definitely be buying this tin again 👍
Definitely a great idea Steve love bacon 🥓 grill ‼️

One of the best things in a UK army ration pack , back in the 1980s when I was in . Have it now fried with brown sauce on a sarnie ,
In the army ration pack?! Our troops are eating well! 👍🙂

Thanks Graham, we're similar in that respect, we both like a decent amount of salt 👍

Thanks for the heads up on that mate 👍
One of my guilty pleasures
I don't blame you! 👍
I love Corn Beef and frying is the best way have it🙌👍
I don't think I've ever fried corned beef 🤔
Winding the key on tins like this are always the ‘adult’ thing to do.
Lord only knows what would happen if the kids did it! Lol😂

Hope you enjoy! 👍
Love Bacon Grill. A staple of European camping trips as a kid!
I've only ever been camping once, not for me 👎
Love bacon grill! I prefer it to spam. Fry it really crispy with brown sauce in good bread👌😋 nice one Steve
I'd prefer red sauce but each to their own 😊
with chips and beans 🤤
Have a look at the post on my community tab 😊😋
Top Man Steve these are good
Oh yes! 👍
Great video
Thanks Todd 🙂
How was the taste compared to Spam? Your Egg McMuffin looked really good!
To be honest it's so long since I had Spam I can't really say how the taste compares but it is a hell of a lot cheaper!
Great video 😅😅
Thanks Frogdog! 😊
Glad you enjoyed your muffin 😅😅
It was great thanks! 😋👍
I believe in bacon grill supremacy!!!!
So do I!!!!
@BitOfMunch Yeah :D
I have an omlette maker and I make perfectly round fried eggs in it too :D

Keep up the good videos 👍
@@jamiepedrick3454 thanks, I'll keep making videos all the time people are enjoying them 👍
I get the Asda version . Perfect sarnie filler

im always confused by these products, for eg you can get a 300g pack of morrisons savers bacon for £1.45 and save yourself the toxic processing.
I bought it so you don't have to! 😁 ( Bacon is classed as a processed meat by the way )
I had spam as a kid I can't eat this stuff anymore bad experience lol 😂
Sounds ominous!
Well, you can live on it, but it tasted like shit, but you probably can’t for any length of time.
It's full of nasty stuff, you should only eat that in SHTF days.
SHTF?
