Canned/tinned chicken tends to be rubbery. In most cases. The only exception seems to be M&S tins. Their chicken tikka masala and chicken casserole tins are pretty decent. Pricey, though.
Nice video as usual Steve. I do agree with you on the Asda's tinned curries there pretty decent. I've always got a few in the cupboard in emergencies when i'm on the beer. As you say chicken can be a bit dry but perfectly acceptable with a side order of Heineken 5% lager.
I bought a load of these on a well known shopping site and it was OK, a bit gloopy, ok for a quick dinner but not the best tinned curry I've had. Tinned food is great, have soups, bolognese sauce, chilli, etc my mate calls mine the 'War cupboard'!!
These tinned Currys serve a purpose but the chicken in them is always so dry and overcooked. Plus often theyre around the same price as a decent enough frozen one. But they're still ok for a quick meal wirh a naan. Always interesting to see the video though as always. Veggie currys seem to work better from tins.
tinned food week be interesting - this doesnt sound the best start though! - the best tinned curries are in M&S they are lovely, but are more expensive of course, cya tmorrow steve
It will be okay to put in your pantry for when you can't be bothered but it's not worth anymore than £1.49 a tin. They do a whole range of different tinned foods Farmfoods were selling there tinned corned beef for £1.99 which is a good price for that stuff in this day and age and it was alright I have bought it in the past. If your having trouble finding there products they sell them in cases of 12 free delivery on that website named after a long river in South America. ( If I mention the name youtube will delete my comment played this game before )
I would need to cook that tinned curry down on the stove top before trying to eat it. I can’t stand that much gravy on anything, I like food fairly dry.British people today seem to like food swimming in gravy, and sauces, but this British person never did.😮😮😂😂
M&S tinned curry, lovely!!❤
I haven't tried one..............yet 😊
It is very nice but it's a fiver

I've never tried a tinned M&S curry, I will get round to it, maybe quite soon.....
Looks ok to plonk in the cupboard for emergencies, though only if it's a bit cheaper 👍
It would have to be a hell of a lot cheaper for me to plonk it anywhere! 😁
@@BitOfMunch true lol
Was about to buy some off amazon because of the good reviews. Just seen your review... and changed my mind. 😂
Just remember, it's only my opinion, you might love it!

My thinking exactly Dean! 👍
Happy Tinned Food Week 😮
Thanks Ed, let's see if I'm happy by the end of the week 🙂

I think your "war cupboard" might be a good idea....
Thankyou for another great opinion Steve. ‼️
My pleasure Dorothy!
looks decent for what it is
Great video
Glad you enjoyed it!

Great word but not how I would describe this curry 😐

Generally this tinned stuff is ridiculously expensive nowadays.
I believe in curry supremacy!!!

Thanks, you're the second person to recommend their corned beef 😌
Wonder if it's any good only 0:40 into the video :) Edit: well then
Ummm
Sorry
Just remembered I was supposed to be here at 2!,
I will try to remember tomorrow @2 !!!
Hopeful a nice tin 😂
Don't forget Diane! 😀
@ waiting!
Half an hour 😝🤦🏻♀️
More healthy eating recomendations! 🤣🤣🤣. I drink and smoke, so I ain't going to judge anyone! Needs a Naan or something to mop up all the sauce?
A naan would have worked well 👍
Why waste 2-19 on a basic bland curry when you can get 3 decent frozen curries for 6 pounds from Iceland.
Well "you don't know until you try" 😊
Day 1 of god knows what I’m eating week
Did look a tad baby foodie lol
I agree!

I must admit the sauce to meat ratio was way off on this!
As an Asian, this is mank
More like a curry gravy with chicken flecks. Better poured on chips. What a shame 😊
You're right 👍😐
Let Jamie in the videos 😔🙏
Who?
Scott
Horrid 😂😂😂
