For the first 14 minutes, this is the most slow and relaxed I’ve ever seen Mr. Beard eat! He’s just chillin til that 8th slice! What a pro-as usual, once he picks up the pace, he still manages to smash the record with 1/3 of his time left and proceeds to set a deadly new one
If the amount of cake wasn't a problem but just the speed, he probably would have eaten 30-40 slices if MrsBeard was there. She would have put the whip to him for taking so long at the start.
I feel sorry for the vegans. Imagine never being able to eat an actual cake, and having to put up with that brick they brought instead. My condolences to the vegans out there 😣😛

I went to London for a couple of concerts and figured I had to go and try their cake while I was actually in London. I had the peanut butter, chocolate and banana one and it was super tasty. I did however noticed that someone has beaten your record! Someone named James ate 21 slices on July 23rd, 2023.

This one STRESSED ME OUT LOL!!! It took up a lot of clock time getting the next piece of cake in front of him to keep the pace going 😱😆 But he was so calm and chatty and did his thing! He DEFINITELY needs his own TV show ❤
I think that this is the first time I have ever seen Adam use cutlery the whole time AND appear to be actually chewing most of the food, savouring it so to speak. I absolutely love cake but after 2 of those slices I would definitely be in trouble. Phenomenal effort Mr Beard!

i struggle with a binge eating disorder and somehow, watching your channel helps me feel a lot better about it. seeing you down things in so little time weirdly encourages me to really take my time when i'm eating a lot of food? it's strange but it'll definitely help with harm reduction lol. keep doing what you do man
Its funny, I watch his channel because it relaxes me. I have stage 4 cancer and have lot my sense of tase and smell due to treatment but his voice and character is so soothing. All the best!

I ate 6 doughnuts once and it absolutely shut me down, woke up the next day in a malaise, groggy and suuuper tired like my eyes were being forced shut. I saw in the mirror my eyelids were puffy like 3 times the size! My body does not handle sugar / carb combos well, I'd MUCH rather do a spicy challenge!
Normally when you finish a food challenge you ask for a dessert menu. Someday I hope when you finish a dessert challenge you ask to see the "main course" menu to wash the sweet stuff down with something savoury 😂

I prefer the more raw/self shot content but who can complain at the end of the day? This dude is the only "competitive eater" content I watch. I'll take what I can get. It's more about the adventure (with him traveling and trying local foods), and his personality that I enjoy. If it's produced better it might not be the same vibe, but at least it's enjoyable at the end of the day.
Sometimes I feel bad for the people who own the places but this was like the best ad spot for them! Those cakes looked awesome you should bring Mrs. Beard back on a cake date and just eat cake. =)
Having been in charge of advertising before, I'll say that even if you give up $100 USD for a free meal, you're getting an incredible deal with Adam. He gets routinely 1+ million views on his vids, the vids are up technically forever, they're in-depth and something people want to watch rather than skip or mute. Really, you couldn't ask for better advertising for that price.
You must be a knob if you wanna see this on TV. 🤣 After he eats the first bite all you have to do it fast forward to the last bit of the video and he's done the challenge. Man's be too scared to go do a real challenge as he chooses the ones in his comfort zone which he does in every video.

I ate 6 doughnuts once and it absolutely shut me down, woke up the next day in a malaise, groggy and suuuper tired like my eyes were being forced shut. I saw in the mirror my eyelids were puffy like 3 times the size! My body does not handle sugar / carb combos well, I'd MUCH rather do a spicy challenge!

I prefer the more raw/self shot content but who can complain at the end of the day? This dude is the only "competitive eater" content I watch. I'll take what I can get. It's more about the adventure (with him traveling and trying local foods), and his personality that I enjoy. If it's produced better it might not be the same vibe, but at least it's enjoyable at the end of the day.

Having been in charge of advertising before, I'll say that even if you give up $100 USD for a free meal, you're getting an incredible deal with Adam. He gets routinely 1+ million views on his vids, the vids are up technically forever, they're in-depth and something people want to watch rather than skip or mute. Really, you couldn't ask for better advertising for that price.

I'd be interested to see him in a few more challenges as a separate series, but I didn't enjoy this video as much as the other ones, I'm not a huge fan of the podcast style , too much waffle (pun). The podcast itself is great but beard videos are better in his solo stylee
