My own opinion is that when a person enters a food challenge, that the next trays be there just before the person needs them. That way precious time is not wasted. Although Beard saw it all through, I had a few anxious moments wondering WHY the food isn't there prior to him needing it? It is a challenge, afterall...

Beard is a regular guy. He has a great outlook on life and is a friendly person. I enjoy his attitude and how he interacts with the owners, workers & fans. He put the food away with gusto and is always clean about it. Man is a class act.
Yeah was looking for this comment! Sometimes it took like 2-3min for beard to eat 5 tacos and then it took 4 minutes for them to serve another batch. :o
I agree but I bet they do that to save on money cause beard could probably do 60-65 in 1 hour if the time stopped so the business probably keeps the timer going so it’s less tacos in an hour no matter how fast you eat them.
I agree they should have stopped the clock while Adam was waiting. I mean come on, they knew who he was the cook should have had the tacos prepared faster. It seemed like the cook was trying to sabotage Adam.

I saw like 1 other person in that kitchen besides the chef, and they were probably washing the dishes (no not the waiter). There's no point in making fresh food if some might go to waste. It's a challenge with random foods when usual people order from a set menu. Don't want cold old food going to a wee place like that.

My 6+ foot tall body builder boss feared to ask me, a not even 5'2" woman, to take my lunch break a little late. He'd send coworkers to ask for him. To be clear, I always said yes to every schedule change or being called in to cover for a sick coworker. I don't even get hangry. But my resting bitch face was mighty.

This was truly terrific. Proper journey through the place, First tacos, chef (did look to be annoyed at first) the banter between you all, the fans at the window and then it really looked like you'd won everyone over by the end as they marvelled at the achievement. Brilliant stuff and brilliant content.
You can see why the channel is so damn popular. Adam’s a top lad (for a northerner), the challenges are always a challenge and the videos are so polished. Great stuff.

@@jayl0151 without significant help from educated doctors funded by the stroke association I would be dead from 3 strokes. So I'd say they helped me immensely. Not everyone has the same type of strokes. Mine was in the brain stem about the worst place to have it.
That chef couldn’t hide his displeasure at having to churn out them tacos. It seemed like he had a scowl for the majority of this video. And the gleeful look on his face when beard was struggling to stuff the last few bites of taco in his gob was hilarious 😅
If you've worked in a kitchen, you'd know that's just how chefs look most of the time on shift. Their work isn't easy, and they're stuck in a hot room for hours. I'm pretty sure he had no hard feelings towards Beard, just doing his job.

Man, he spent half the allotted time chatting in the all you can eat cake episode, he could have put away so much more if he wasn't so casual. He's a chill guy, not so intense, focused on enjoyment. This goes a long way to show what sets him apart and makes him so darn amiable.
Whats fun to watch is the sheer joy and enjoyment you have for food nevermind the amount but you almost always seem to enjoy it the taste the way the food is prepared mate and that's something I enjoy most about your challenges you face. You're doing awesome mate keep at it.

I disagree. The solo videos he does and edit himself are way more intimate. These videos always come off as a bit more corporate. It’s nice to have someone else do the editing now and again though I bet!

It's not really about time its about capacity. Having 60 or 45 minutes to actually chew the food really doesn't make any difference.

What do stroke association actually help with, my best friend had a significant stroke in 2020 and stroke association are helpless!

Whats fun to watch is the sheer joy and enjoyment you have for food nevermind the amount but you almost always seem to enjoy it the taste the way the food is prepared mate and that's something I enjoy most about your challenges you face. You're doing awesome mate keep at it.

I disagree. The solo videos he does and edit himself are way more intimate. These videos always come off as a bit more corporate. It’s nice to have someone else do the editing now and again though I bet!
