This video is better then most Arrma owners know. what this guy is showing you is a MUST do!!!!! Get rid of them shims!!!! all my 6s arrma cars and trucks have had this done after watching this video. all my cars steer better 100% night and day!!!! the Typhon TRL though already has bearings. Losi smart..:)

Big dawg, I've been having issues with my steering for a hot minute, just been dealing with it. Watch your video and checked my bushing's.... So much play. Got the bearing, also had plenty of the clip's/retainer's. Did the job and every work's fucking fantastic! Thanks my guy!

Just put bearings in mine this afternoon. I got my saver undone easy, and fitted the optional extra hard spring, fixed this sloppy saver issue, them bushings are total bullshit, what did they save ? 50pence

Hell yeah. I love when videos show the bearing size. Saves alot of time searching around. Your motor bearing video was extremely helpful. Those are a pain in the ass to try and find the correct size.

I agree. The 3s line used to come with bushings. The v3's come with bearings now. Guess the v5's weren't ready yet lol.
Dang bro . I replaced my OG servo with a cheapo servo from Amazon ,35kg with the included Allen wrenches . I m never doing that again I til I get some proper drivers . lol . I ll be doing this sometime if steering goes bad .
The hot racing steering servo saver kit comes with all the goodies and bearings to get the job done! Upgrade to that in the future :)

Even the wltoys 144001 has bearings in the steering! Smallest bearings I've ever fucking seen but if they can do it on a budget then arrma are just taking the piss. I've never checked my exb but I'm guessing it's got the shitty bushings 🙄 I'll do this mod! Nice one Jack 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻

I used to call those crush bushings... I never thought they were meant for repeated use. They were only there to cushion vibration and stuff....
Yeah they suck. Shouldn't be used on moving parts like steering for sure.

Wait they use bushings in the kraton? Can you link me to the bearings I would need? My hot racing aluminum bellcrank just came in for my big rock, its great on my typhon. Gets rid of the slop. They need to update the steering rack/ servo saver for the V6 kraton. That should be number one on the shit to do list. They need to make the servo saver accessible/adjustable without having to tear down the front bulkhead. The actual stock V5 servo is decent it's just the servo saver makes it sloppier than it really is.
Yeah, it's sloppy as hell. I had to tighten it with snap rings.
My V4 6s Kraton steers like crap, and never returns to centre. Now I know why. Looks like I'm tearing down my front end now, too,,,,,,,

Why not just tighten the servo saver instead of the snap rings 2 wrenches and tighten it up it has lock tight on the threads ot servo saver
It's non adjustable on this model.
