Thanks! I'm building my first Arrma, the 6s EXB v2, but have a pile of Traxxas models. Man, Arrma makes setting the steering end points miles easier than Traxxas. Even using the Traxxas app with bluetooth module is a pita. Physical buttons on the Arrma controller gotta be easier. On the Traxxas app, trying to watch the tires and press a tiny ass touch screen button on your phone is cumbersome. Not to mention, if you press the app button too fast, it shoot all the way to zero and you have to start the whole process over! Anyway, appreciate the easy instructions buddy! Subscribed! I spy a A Stars hat on your table, I too ride sport bikes like my hair is on fire!!! ;)
Thanks for subscribing, mate! Congrats on starting your first Arrma build with the 6S EXB V2-great choice! Totally agree about the steering endpoint setup. Arrma's physical buttons make life so much easier compared to Traxxas's app. I've had similar frustrations with the Traxxas app-trying to fine-tune on a small touchscreen while keeping an eye on the tires can be a nightmare! Glad you found the instructions helpful. And good eye spotting the Alpinestars hat! Riding sport bikes like your hair’s on fire? Respect! Let’s just say speed is in our blood, whether it’s two wheels or four! Stay awesome and ride safe! 🤘 Chris :)
Hey buddy , Yeah i hear what your saying it does seem that the stock servos are a bit crap to say the least . Really glad that this video helped you get the endpoints sorted . Stay awesome Chris :)
@nahnah21 The 35kg Pro Amazon special for $35. I'm still using the stock saver, it's 25 tooth on the v2.5. I put the steering rate at 80% when I set the end points, I turn it up to 100% when I run it, I let the servo saver take care of the extra 20% over steer. The turning radius is cut in half.
Thanks so much for the step by step setting up the steering/throttle! I have a Kraton 4S V2 and am still learning all the tips and tricks to set up properly.
@@boomjeep99 hey buddy , well thanks so much for the kind words and so glad your able to use this to help you ! That was the plan :) Stay awesome Chris 🤙👍🚀🤘🤩👊

Thank you 🙏 just put a perfect passpnster steering servo in my outcast. Truck has just been stopping mid in the middle of a drive session for some reason. I off/ on it and its fine. Then goes into limp mode like it should before the battery dies. Im not aure if its over voltage or not from the steering servo or somwthing. Nothings getting hot. Like it just stops. No limp or anything. Just stops. I hope this is a soluation
You’re welcome, mate! That Perfect Pass steering servo is a solid choice-nice upgrade! As for your truck stopping mid-session, it sounds like there’s a bit of troubleshooting to do. If it’s cutting out but not overheating, you might be dealing with a power issue. Here are a few things to check: BEC Voltage: Some high-torque servos draw more current than your ESC’s BEC can provide. Make sure the servo’s specs align with your ESC’s output. If it’s overloading, a separate BEC might solve the problem. Battery Connections: Loose or weak connections could cause intermittent power loss. Double-check your battery leads and connectors for wear or damage. Receiver & Wiring: Inspect your receiver and servo wires for any loose connections or damage. A glitch there could explain the random cut-offs. Lipo Voltage Cutoff: If it’s going into limp mode prematurely, your ESC settings might need adjusting. Try checking the low-voltage cutoff setting to ensure it matches your LiPo's specs. It’s frustrating when issues like this pop up, but you’re on the right track diagnosing. Hopefully, the new servo does the trick, but keep an eye on these other areas just in case! Let us know how it goes!
@@melvincherry5061 your most welcome buddy , sorry to hear that you burned up a servo . Once you have set your endpoints unless you have a nasty crash your servo now should last you a lot longer . Stay awesome buddy Chris 🤙👍💪🤙🤘🚀🫡

Hey there Peter , Massive thank you for all your support buddy , so happy that you guys are happy to watch and hear me speak about my findings and how much I enjoy this hobby ! So humbled honestly . Yeah I would 💯 recommend you set your end points on every RTR or even new esc as it lets the esc understand your throttle position better and gives you a better feeling when driving and control , As for the wheels yes it’s normal for the wheels to point outwards when having the car off the floor a basher does have a positive toe due to the nature of asking it to turn on a dime and if you look at your rc even when levelled you should have a slight amount of toe , this is exaggerated when the wheels are not touching the floor . Fingers crossed with the 1k mark , the channel is most definitely heading the right way and it’s all down to you guys . Hope you and the family are well Chris 🤙😎🤘🚀🏴
Hiya mate Well as of now I do have a drone so we will have to put a day together so we can combine your video with aerial footage. Hope you and the family are all well and hope we get better weather soon sick of the rain. Peter
Great video, question... before even turning on the transmitter for the Calibration, should we leave the AVS ST, Brake, ST Trim = all on MIDDLE position before turning it on?
Good video, i might give it a try on my Big Rock 6S, i just received it and i noticed the front wheels being very similar to the car you have there, i gave them a bit of adjustment and aligned a bit better, were they supposed to be like that? i know rear tires are usually set with a bit of toe in and some camber but not the fronts, or is that a good thing as well? i just cursed at Arrma´s quality control and gave them a couple of turns on each side.
Hey buddy , are we talking about toe out or was the steering off centre ? , yes rear have toe to keep the car tracking straight at speed and help with stability in a straight line , they will be faster straight but won’t feel as stable . Hope this helps , Stay awesome Chris 🤙👊🤘💪
@@ChriswithaCrc fronts had some toe out, after driving it i noticed it still has some to some degree, i'll give it a try and set it back the way it came from the factory. Just to be clear, i didnt mess with the rears, i only adjusted toe in the fronts so they are almost straight looking, this beast still "scares" me lol, the sounds the tires make on the concrete skate park are closer to what a real car sounds like, if that makes sense, have not really driven it at 100%, 50-75% so far, i own a FTX Carnage that goes 45mph, but this thing is bigger and weights like double.
I hear you buddy they are a beast , but very addictive is the 6s range ! Yes some toe at the front is a good idea due to helping you turn better . So putting it back might be a good idea . Let me know how you get on Chris 🚀👊🤘💪🚀

It’s sure is buddy , thanks for watching 👀 To be quite honest most ESC are the same , there isn’t many that aren’t . I hope that this helps you ! Stay awesome Chris 🤙
Hiya Chris. Hey great info mate. You know I've done the throttle setup before now but not the steering end points. I just use the steering rate knob on the transmitter to make sure it's not forcing the steering too far. I guess that the end point setup is useful if you can't get it correct in both directions using the steering rate knob. Anyway good to see it demonstrated so clearly. Has the Outcast arrived yet? I bet you take it out despite the shite weather 😂 Best wishes mate 😁
Hey there Pete , Hope that your well buddy , thanks for watching , yeah I do it this way to then know that the servo can’t overstretch itself when I’m kicking it’s backside . And then it’s still allowing full motion of the steering , the dual rate I only use when I’m trying to dial in less movement when I bashing if the truck is under or over steering for example . Ah thanks for the kind comments it’s very hard sometimes to get the point across without faffing it all up lol 😂 As for the outcast well no actually I’ve not taken it out yet , video came out this morning on the unboxing and first thoughts , plus I fitted some goodies to it also .
