I was following along with this video. After stuggling to get the adjuster nut/collar on i thought i was home free once i got it on. Long story short, i stripped the threads out on the lock collar. DO NOT crank down on it

Thanks Craig. Ordered the Hot Racing servo saver from A Main a month ago, still waiting for it to arrive. Shipping overseas in very slow at the moment

Which servo saver? Was unaware hot racing even made one. They make Aluminum steering rack. But doesn’t have the servo saver in it.

No the one I used in the exb was from Amazon just a cheap alloy one

If you can find the servo saver from the older models you can crank it right down to make it solid.

Yeh don't seen why they went with nine adjustable ones on the exb or newer RTR? There so cheap for adjustable ones

@@WTFRCCars yep they don’t thread the new ones as much as the old. That’s the problem. So you can’t tighten it enough. My guess is people were cranking it down and breaking the stock servo and claiming warranty.

The exb ones ain't adjustable at all no threads just a washer on the bottom :(

      @@WTFRCCars oh wow. That’s crap.

The older one is not good at all, the spring is way to soft and you can’t tighten it enough, I had to put a washer on it.

Why it looks so easy to get in that area on kraton but on notorious v5 6s blx is so difficult having so much trouble to fix well change that servo saver

If you have checked the servo saver the stock one is very weak, also check the hub ball cups are not over tightened :)
