Jeez, this shader just keeps getting better and better! It is my favorite! Love your work, Emin! Everything looks stunning and even though I have had this shader for a while, I still can't stop gawking at the beauty of a sunset.
This End, this Aurora borealis, These sunsets and sunrises... If I die and end up in Paradise, then my personal Paradise looked exactly like this to the pixel. Well, if I get to Nether, then there is nothing, and it is also beautiful there)
I used BSL for the square sun. Then Complementary for the PBR pack, options, and fixed end portal visuals (and square sun option). Love it and it’s my favorite choice of shaders.
Downloaded the shader today and it's the first shader I haven't switched off after 30 minutes of play. It doesn't overdo the game like SEUS does and looks REALLY good!
Hello Emin, I am a fan of your shaders and views on how to look beautiful and at the same time balanced graphic aspects of your wonderful shaders. I have an idea, could you add a new cloud type "Fancy vanilla clouds" to the configuration (or any other name reflecting their appearance) The point is that the clouds with this configuration option have a similar appearance as in the clouds from the "Nostalgia shaders" shaders, they have the same square and airy, soft fragments, without sharp edges. I believe that this kind of cloud would fit well into the style of your shaders and diversify the sky in a new way, but with the same vanilla cubic style. I hope your dreams come true and you will listen to my thoughts about this innovation, thank you for your attention. Good luck with your development, looking forward to shaders on 1.17, 18, 19 and more :-)🌅
Edit: A year after I wrote this comment, I actually did it with the new Complementary Reimagined shaderpack. Hello. I'm glad you liked the shader! I need to decline your suggestion though. The reason is that clouds like in Nostalgia Shaders is almost impossible to do without causing a massive performance hit. This is why Nostalgia runs quite slower than Complementary. If you really want Nostalgia clouds and you have performance to spare, then you should use Nostalgia Shaders. It's a great shaderpack
The vast majority of the feedback I have gotten is about how Complementary Shaders look very well balanced with a good stylistic art direction. I'm sorry if it doesn't appeal to your tastes, but I can recommend checking out the many shader options to see if you can get it to look the way you want.
@@EminGT No no, it literally appeals to my tastes. Looks good and performs good without having to rely on cheap post processing. I just found it funny the "good according to its users" part as if the developers think that the users have bad taste lolololololol
This is my favourite shader by _far!_ Excellent performance and looks incredible! I was just wondering if there’s an option, or if you could add such an option, to increase the light emitted by handheld light sources. Currently, torches held in my hand light up very little compared to placing a torch, even if it’s in the same location.
Love your shaderpack though since, unlike seus renewed, it doesn't have broken vfx for mobs and portals. I'm here to report on some bugs since I don't feel like registering a twitch account for curse forge. I'm on forge 1.16.5 using optifine G8 and I've tried older builds as well. The abyss 2 seems to be at least partly broken on seus renewed as well, with the skybox acting the same as if it were the overworld, but I'm guessing that the abyss 2 also being a problem for renewed is because it's a fairly new mod. Having the starry night sky and borealis that your shaderpack adds would look amazing in these worlds. I've discovered these things so far when using complementary shaders: -White skybox in mods that add The Twilight Forest and The Abyss II. -Blocks in The Abyss stick out as if they were lit (unstable obsidian) or are just dark (affects most blocks). The second part about the whether or not the shaders are being applied could be affecting the twilight forest as well but I don't really know since it's really hard to make things out with the white skybox when the environment is dimmed. The mobs and blocks that seem like they're intended to have a glowing effect look really cool though. Your shaderpack really has potential that seems to have been lost in Seus Renewed not really being updated anymore.
I'm glad you like Complementary. But I unfortunately can't fix Twilight Forest or The Abyss since Optifine have broken the dimension detection support for shaders since Minecraft 1.13. I will surely fix everything if Optifine adds support for them again.
Doing colored lighting in Minecraft is very hard because of the game engine not supporting it. There is an option called "Scene-aware colored lighting" which can be found in Shader Options -> Lighting in the newest version. It's not perfect but it's the best I can do without destroying the performance. Other than that Complementary's light source handling is well balanced (unlike some shaderpacks that make everything orange) so the soul light sources don't really look wrong even with the default settings
Doesn't work for me :( Although none of the shaders work on the M1 only ProjectLuma does. Unsure if it's because of compatibility with the new hardware or because it's running emulated. Really hope one-day I can run contemporary shaders because these are my favourite ones. Hoping either Mojang fixes compatibility and runs it native or someone brings a port or something.
@@xeome5596 It's strange because I've seen a few people run shaders before but they don't use the stock launcher. I've seen someone run contemporary, sildurs and Luma because I managed to run it. Wonder what the reason would be then?
As a person who is a year late, yes you most definitely can Use Rubidum + Oculus instead of optifine though for much better performance if you are stuck on Forge
