you can actually play this (use lower settings on the shader, and maybe use a 32x or 16x texture pack) on a low end PC at reasonable framerates

couldn't have summed up survival mechanics better myself.
Well he didn't added green paper struggles. Without it you can't go up to 10% of the annoyance of real life. There's no phermit office either.
He shouldve added a mod where you have to stand in line at the DMV for maximum realism
@@JaCrispy3060 thats just the nether smh. uncomfortably hot, zombie-like inhabitants, random chances of getting anything useful, it's all there
This is the dumbest comment I've seen in a while
He forgot to add taxes
I'd definitely throw on Sound Physics Remastered, AmbientSounds, and Presence Footsteps as well
F a c t s
Those are 100% required. Can't believe I forgot to mention them in my long-ass comment I wrote. XD
We should have that one mod that adds blood splatters on the screen when you get hit and various other visual effects on the screen depending on low health, sandstorm, freezing, etc.
@@Zonose Enhanced Visuals, yes that one is awesome
Also no cubes mod
It will make it look best
Do A Barrel Roll would be really cool. (Realistic Elytra movements)
Also, Fresh Animations
And a player animation mod or resource pack aswell
And fresh moves (Expressions Only) + Serious player animations
@@darkfire_ninja they dont tend to work well with the mod that lets you see your body in first person
Also, water physics overhaul.
@@therealloganyt237 water physics overhaul is a 1.16.5 forge mod
This is literally RLCraft without the fun fantasy mods
getting torn apart by a krake herd sure is fun
I get that we're going for realism, but let's agree to stay away from pissing and shitting mods
The thought of this kills me 😭
i disagree. Those are essential for minecraft realism experience
We're really turning Minecraft into MSC
Ark moment
Can't stop me, where's a mod for SCUM but in minecraft...
"And it still runs great" - AsianHalfSquat with an rtx 4090 gpu
Edit: I have some ideas to add to the realism (no idea if mods like that exist) some of which are inspired by a game (Green Hell) that has those things:
1. Stamina (not just combat stamina). Now you'll have 2 types of stamina bars; an "action" stamina bar which is used for literally everything. From sprinting, jumping and swimming to mining, farming and fighting (has different depletion rates for different actions and regenerates when resting/eating/sleeping), and a general stamina stat which slowly but exponentially reduces over time. This one only regenerates when eating, idling and sleeping with the latter being the only way to also reset the reduction speed. Your "general stamina" caps your maximum "action stamina", and if it's completely gone you'll pass out with a 90% chance of death (as you may get eaten/attacked while unconscious).
2. Nutrition. Instead of having a simple hunger bar, you have several indicating different needs (proteins, fats, glucose, vitamins etc.). This forces you to eat various different food items. Each food item has a different set and amount of points. Meat provides mostly proteins and fat, and fruits and vegetables give you glucose, vitamins and a small amount of water. Bread/cake - glucose (+ a little fat for cake).
3. Realistic tools and armor. When tools and armor are damaged their effectiveness (damage, use speed, and protection) slowly decreases, and also overhauls the durability. Fixing your chestplate, sword, or axe would require special tools (like a hammer for armor to fix dents, and a grinding stone to sharpen your swords and axes). This cannot be done indefinitely as in real life fixing your armor or tools may solve the worst issues, but they'll slowly degrade irreversibly. They'll initially be more durable than vanilla, but after a while have degraded so much that you're forced to craft a new one. Mending would be less effective (so you can't simply rely on it fully to keep everything on full durability), but as a bonus would slow down the degradation speed.
you can use "Sprint O' Meter" for stamina, i was using it on my 1.19.2 modpack. idk if it exists on other versions tho
To the nutrition point, Spice of Life is really great for that. There’s different versions of the mod too. The one that I use most is the Carrot Edition which rewards the player by giving them extra hearts depending on how many foods they’ve eaten.
you can use sprint o meter for stamina, i was using it on my 1.19.2 modpack. idk if it exists on other versions tho
@@jacksauce carrot edition doesn't exactly fit into this specific modpack though... (not saying that the mod is bad)
@@jacksauce If I'm not mistaken, Spice of Life is about _encouraging_ dietary variety and not _forcing_ it as OP suggested.
A mod that's closer is Nutritional Balance, where you are rewarded for a balanced diet _or_ punished for malnutrition or engorging. I have it on my WIP survival mod pack and have yet to find a better alternative.
your pc deserves overtime payment
Here is some mods I think should be added to the list:
1. 3D skin layers (makes skins have 3d layer effects)
2. Boat fall (Boats will break and the player will take damage if you fall from high enough with a boat)
3. Break free (lets you continue breaking a block when you switch items)
4. Charmonium (adds Ambient biome sound effects)
5. Eating animation (Adds animation for eating)
6. Make bubbles pop (bubbles doesn't magically disappear underwater)
7. MAmbience (adds many dynamic ambient effects)
8. No Nametag Render (No more floating letters above named creatures)
9. No sneaking over magma (Magma does damage, even when sneaking)
10. Presence footsteps (Realistic footstep sounds)
11. Puddles (Adds puddles when raining)
12. Sleep warp (Time speeds up instead of cutting till the morning)
13. SnowyLeavesPlus (Leaves turn white when it's snowing)
I know all the mods I mentioned are compatible, but I'm not sure if they are with any of the ones mentioned in the video.
sleep warp wouldn't be compatible with time control
@@Vqloz That makes sense. For the most realistic approach I guess time control would be better.
@@temanor I also think not being able to skip the night would make things more challenging like old versions of the game, even though it may not be realistic

Me: it was a long day, time to play something and relax.
Me 1 hour later:
"I'm sure this compatibility mod wouldn't be painful at all"
me who hops on every 3 days:
Modern Stonecutters just go back and forward very fast instead of rotating, so any Material that is elastic, Like skin, will just wiggle.
But the one in Minecraft is clearly rotating so it will hurt you.
Actually, it too can possibly be oscillating. Granted, it’s doing so by 1 pixel, but considering that minecraft characters dont have fingers, and that we dont know what their bone structure is like nor how elastic their muscles and skin are, idk maybe it should cause scratches, but so should tree punching.
The speed of the wiggle and the friction which depends on pressure could still allow it to cut skin, pretty sure
@@OswaldM_14 Yeah, you are right, a stonecutter can still hurt you under too much pressure, so while it is not impossible, they are still terrible at cutting flesh.
Same for tools doctors use to cut bones, doesn't cut skin etc
terrafirmacraft is a really good overly realistic modpack if you haven't heard of it
Try Terrafirmacraft Hardrock...
Really sounded like terrafirmacraft to me
Terrafirmacraft is one impressive mod. The modpack you're talking about is hardrock terrafirmacraft
@@Just_A_Simple_Time_Travelleri tried it on days, i leaved after 20 minutes because of textures
Havent heard that about that mod for a really long time
Bro played Vintage Story once and made this. I don't know where I'm going with this but there is a connection
I was thinking about VS too! 😄

And so on.

@@gavinjohnson6778 Modpack²
I got an idea that doesn't really exist. Give every block a variation of the scaffolding mechanic, the weight and strength of a block determines how much overhang it can hold. It would be difficult to code as blocks would needs to interact with eachother and maybe have an even more complex overhang system.
This is actually an extremely interesting mechanic
Physics mod has something similar, but I don't think it has different properties for each block.
I would love to have this feature for sure! The mod Block Physics Overhaul actually does a pretty nice job with this, however it hasn't been updated past 1.16.5.
modrinth.com/mod/bpo
while likely not as complex, the game vintage story has that feature, if you create a tunnel you will need to use supports so that there isnt a cave in, and depending on how far away a block is from said support, from any block around it, will depend on how likely it is to fall and cause a cave in
Actually theres a stamina mod for fabric as well!
"Walk, jog, run" is a mod that sepeprates the walking speeds, mainly, but it also adds a stamina speed to your sprinting and once it hits zero it gives you slowness for a little bit while it recharges! :3
slightly easier RLcraft.
the children yearn for vintage story
Awesome video as always man! This is great!
Sounds like hell, nice 👌
AHS! You've got such a lively presence here! There's so much more personality here than we're usually treated, and I love your ideas section at the end of the video, and do hope it makes a comeback ❤
This guy is the reason I'm so into Minecraft. Always finding the best of mods. Thanks!
Thanks, opened me up to a lot of cool mods!
Limiting stack size is a great idea when paired with a "realistic" backpack mod. Awesome vid and recommendations. Cheers.
I love how for the mods AHS sounds like a mad god tormenting us and then with the resource packs he's like "I'll make everything look nice as a compromise"
Real life is hard I’m realizing
I mean..
Maybe when you are spawned in the wilderness with no cities or towns, and all you've got is your fists
been waiting for a new total conversion 🙏
you always make the coolect combos of mods, i wish there was a modern simple way to play these as packs.
nice, i like theese total conversion videos! 👍👍
Love this video, this was one of my favorite lists you've made. Would be cool to see you play on some of these modpacks. Do you stream on a platform?
Those camera mods are amazing i used it in my modpack
One mod that work perfect for this settup is spelunkery. I found it a while back and it's quickly become one of my fav mods!! For starters it gives you more resources at deepslate level which pairs nicely with thin air making mining lower a dope risk reward scenario. Then, it also improves progression by making diamonds (and other gemstones) rough gems when you first mine them and require a grindstone to cut them and make them useable. Diamonds and emeralds require the new diamond grindstone which is made with rough diamonds and needs to be repaired with diamonds every now and then to keep working.
It also adds other miscellaneous items for underground exploration and some new minerals!
Only issue is I haven't found any resource packs with support for it.
Great video! Using the mods my PC started simulating actual fire😄👍🏼10/10 would reccomend
Cant wait for the 100 days series of these exact settings. Pls make them public.
I'd add Alex's Mobs because more creatures to attack you that exist irl.
Install naturalist then, it adds exclusively animals. Alex's mobs can get a bit coockoo at times, unless you want that
He's using fabric Alex's Mobs isn't on fabric
that cannot be in fabric.

Great video!
If you didn't lose your mind after RLcraft you will lose it now
THANK YOU FOR POSTING MR. SQUAT!
"I hope you have fun exploring the dark, airless caves." is pretty funny.
Your back. Im glad your okay
Your saying that too yourself. Only to yourself
I think it needs to have seasons ❄️🌻☀️🍂
Serene Seasons mod would be great
Thank you for uploading eyeball man
This was entertaining to watch xD
So basically real life, but we have to survive like people in the past. But the cherry on top is all the monsters!! Amazing!
Yippy, my mod was featured a second time in one of your videos.
Congratulations you have just recreated rlcraft.
This has given me a great idea; a 7 days to die Modpack for Minecraft. Every 7 days there is a blood moon which spawns nearly endless hordes of enemies you must defend against. Days are longer to accomodate. Some of the features in this video are retained because they are actually in 7DTD. That would be really fun!
This video showcases more mods than the amount of games I've played in my life
I’d wanna say, food rots a lot differently than how you think it would, one day for it to be rotten is a bit too fast if you think about it. Instead I think a weather mod that also influences food decay and having different decay times for different foods and having more phases to the food decay along with different ways the food decays (like eggs outputting chickens when decayed or apples sprouting when decayed) would be way better
I want a video of you specifically trying to beat MC with these mods! 😂
Two uploads in one week babyyyy
Will you ever do full mod packs of your videos in description? I think that would be very nice to just instantly download the whole pack of mods.
Honestly, this highkey looks like fun
I find it very funny AsianHalfSquat dropping a modpack video like it's completely ordinary to bake your computer!
Mods I would add (I don't know if they're all fabric or updated to the correct version, I'm too lazy to check.):
Butchery: Adds realistic animal butchering, so food is harder to get. Make sure you turn on the setting that makes all animals drop corpses when killed by anything.
Sleep Tight: Overhauls sleeping by adding nightmares and bed bugs, and makes you hungry after you wake up.
Spelunkery: Non-metal ores such as diamond and redstone now drop chunks of said resource that need to be refined at a grindstone.
u ve successfully shown how hard real life can be.. and i wanna see someone struggle playin with all these mods now
I know it wouldn't be compatible with resource packs but you could also use the Immersive Weathering mod. It add stuff such as iron rusting, soot forming from fires, stone becoming mossy when next to water, brick blocks cracking, etc.
Play Vintage Story, it's rad
One thing I’m still waiting for, is for a realistic waterfall mod, or maybe the physics mod will add those, cuz I rlly need that
Gonna show this to my dad who's bored with the game, thanks!
At this point you can go and play vintage story, cool modpack you've made tho!
Dude, you are so good at making Minecraft aesthetically realistic! Love the videos man.
BTW can I ask your pc specs and als, can I get the physics mod for Minecraft Bedrock?
No you absolutely cannot, I have wasted too many hours of my life trying to find physics style mods for bedrock and there is nothing.
@@user-nz9xc1he3v hm... Bedrock is not capable of handling those I guess, I play bedrock too
I feel like the mob loot mod u just reviewed in your 1.20.6 video would be a great fit
The video I never thought I needed, but turns out, I do
Your voice is really attractive to me
Feels weird to say that to a minecraft youtuber but in every video i watched its just nice
id be hyped to try this out with a vr headset and that katwalk vr thing
You just took all the pains of being a living creature and blasted Minecraft with them
some other cool mods you should check out for survival are:
-no bonemeal crop
-parcool to have more freedom of movement
-cloak and dagger to have some stealth feature when moving at night or in caves
-the tornado mod
-enhanced ai
in my opinion the pack is great i cant see myself really improving it
all thats to add is world generation mods as lets be honest standard minecraft generation isnt very realistic it has random big hills very close to eachother so i would add ReTerraforged and yes i know its not properly released yet but ive seen people use it so surely it will work with this and Distant Horizons to see hills in the distance.. but then you will probably need a new shader as idk if Bliss is compatible with Distant Horizons.. i know for sure Complimentary shaders is compatible with it and theres 1 more but idr if its Bliss or Nostalgia or something else
anyway another awesome video this got me wanting to play this with my sister after adding create and create trains to the pack
i think some foods mods that allow you to make long lasting food would be great too
I would def add on the parcool mod to this. Works amazing with first person model too.
bro the timing on this is crazy my brand new pc JUST came in today.
Another set of mods for tempurature and dehydration would be Scorchiful and Frostiful, and in my experience are a lot more immersive, balanced without being overtly punishing, and even add some vanilla plus dungeons and biome additions. I recall being incentivized to get in the water when I was say on a beach.
If you want birds, there is also Birds|Boids addon mod that adds birds to the game with a similar grouping mechanic as the fish one does.
Spelunkers Charm tremors would be sick for this too
that Zelda stamina wheel though. lol
And it still runs great! [citation needed]
"Cant having you feel too comfortable when exploring the depths." Perfect thing to say in this video
[Another millionth comment about a burnt-out computer] -
It's really nice to see our resource pack in your video! Thank you!
Distant horizons and tectonic are always a plus for realism!
your best overhaul yet
"a feature of real life"
Bro made question my existence with one quote.
The spoiled mod needs to add fridges and freezers so we at least have a chance
I haven't been up to date with the modding scene, but it would be interesting to have a *"better Warden"* type mod that showcases its abilities similar to those shown in official animations/media.
For example, being able to *dig through walls* or *burrowing up a pillar/wall* (not actually breaking/griefing them) in order to pursue the player.
Time to find a RUclipsr making a 100 days series on this mod pack
In reference to your suggestions at the end. The collapse feature in the physics mod isn’t being updated anymore because Haubna wants to focus on making it client sided only.
Congrats you just made Better Than Wolves!
Congratulations! You made Vintage Story
I actually checked if it's April first. This is crazy
Nice!!!
As I was adding these mods to a modpack using Prism I found a mod called Realistic Stamina, might be what you're looking for when it comes to stamina
So we just turned Minecraft into the usual survival crafting game sick
next add Valkyrien Skies and Eureka ships for the realistic boats so it will spice up exploring the ocean for those underwater monuments and to make a boat base
Its interesting that if you wanna make mc realistic so you wanna delete fiction hostile mobs there are not many left. The only mob counting is silverfish but it doesnt really attack you either in the rl
I think that one mod where you had to worry about structural integrity in your builds would fit well here
A had a 1.12 modded server a while back and we had the Animania mod. I had a nice cow farm and logged off for a few days. When I came back all my cows were dead. I didn't think about how the server was running continuously and that the cows needed a continuous source of food and water.
for stamina, i recommend "Walk, Jog, Run!"
you can swap between walking, jogging, and running
your max stamina is determined by your hunger
etc
"28 mods to light your pc on fire" would be a better title.
you should add "Do a Barrel Roll" it makes elytra's more realistic, but might not be compatible with camera overhaul
