No! That's actually Mayhem's biggest flaw. Hellhammer himself admitted to ruining the album by turning the drums *way* too loud in the mix. Practically every single Mayhem album has this syndrome after "Mysteriis.." Their latest album "Daemon" is actually unlistenable because of this, as it literally sounds like an hour long jazz drum solo.. To quote Fenriz from Darkthrone: "Black metal is guitar based. The rhythm section is just supposed to BE there, but not do anything fancy, like showing off." The "Mysteriis..Live" album is thus far better, even if it's not Euronymous on guitar, as you can actually hear nuances in the riffing! which are completely inaudible in the studio album, buried under those damn drums. That being said, great job on this version!

Great job taking the old tracks & making them new again with Pelle's vocals , top notch 100% !!! I know it's been done before but these you've done are by far the best . What came out of Pelle was no act & it's still sad he never got the help he needed or perhaps he would still be here.

Oh great, Dead's vocals and the instrumental of Freezing Moon of the LP. It's fantastic. I like Attila as vocalist but Dead and his mind was very brutal and dark.
