    Man i just noticed that your channel exists and im very excited about it. You are a chill guy, i can understand all your talking (im spanish) because you pronounce so well and the most important thing is that you actually are not cocky but full of knowledge. Ill start eating all your videos because there is gold. Huge thank you because lot of people learn and improve because of you. Also i would like to suggest a video where you explain what are the most important pulley accesories and how to build it without money (i mean cheap DIY) for the beginners.
    Love and keep going i hope one day we will meet and arm wrestle 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

    Very helpful, and thanks for taking your time to do this and to share it with the world, free of charge. I have to say, I love the fact that the first topic you guys covered is about safe arm wrestling. One of my oldest and best friends wanted to begin training for arm wrestling about 3-4 years ago (it was during lockdowns when he began taking an interest to if). He broke his arm within the first 2 months. He said he was having a “friendly match” with a guy at his gym, and out of nowhere during the first pull… “POP!!”
    He claims it was just a freak thing… but I had seen him pull a few times and I don’t think he had any idea how to be safe as a new puller. He has since healed and has become much more conscious of his technique, but he has to learn the hard way, I suppose.
    Stay strong, and love arm wrestling!

    • @voiceofarmwrestling
      @voiceofarmwrestling  5 лет назад +2

      Hi Pieter!
      Start with reducing inflammation - gels, hot and cold therapy, supplements like curcumin or something else. Try not to do any movement that causes pain, let your arm rest. When it gets better 1-2 weeks, do some light stretching as well as light exercises. If you keep adding resistance to your elbow recovery time will take months.

    A friend of mine, said that he has improved his wrist strength ever since he stopped doing exercises such as push ups, handstands, etc. Do those exercises, really have a negative effect in armwrestling, or it's up to the person? Those exercises really do put a strain on the wrist, so it's sounds logical for me. Still, I'm new to the sport, so I thought it would be nice to ask a professional about this.
