As a new smoker that's trying to branch out, but not pick cigars that are gonna kick my ass, I appreciate this video a lot!
I strongly recommend the "Flor de copan-maduro".
Even the natural has a nice rich character
@@MrPolonz thanks for the recommendation. I'll check my local b&m for it and if I don't find it there I'll make sure to put it in my cart on the Holts website
@BradMackComedy my pleasure! I wonder what they cost in the US, I'm from Austria and I pay 9€ for the Rothschild & 10€ for the Torpedo.
sadly we are not allowed to buy tabaco online in Austria..
Arturo Fuente, Chateau Fuente Maduro, Robusto, awesome
Perdomo 10 Champagne Connecticut can’t go wrong.
The Ashton Aged Maduro is such an amazing cigar. In my top 3 for a daily smoke.
I agree. a nice mild smoke but with body and a long finish. it's a really nice smoke when I'm not in the mood for any spice.
@@keithsaulsbury4304 what size you usually smoke for the ashton classic maduro
Newer cigar enthusiast, tried many, but always went back to AF Chateau Fuente, then tried it in Maduro, LOVED it!
Padron 3000 maduro is mild and sweet also great cigar!
I've often seen/heard that Maduros are essentially dessert sticks, and that's so true. It's why I love them so much as I have a sweet tooth. You get sweet notes out of them like chocolate or maple that you just don't find in a lot of other wrappers.
I definitely agree. When I smoked a Fuente Spanish Lonsdale Maduro, I got heavy notes of coffee, hazelnut and chocolate. It was interesting because it repeated the process about 3 times before getting to the end of the cigar.
We need a part 2 of this video, great one!
Mazz is smoking my favorite Maduro of all time. For beginners I feel maduros is the best way to go. The tobacco is ripened which makes it a smooth smoke. I got two Anejos in my humidor waiting for a special occasion to be fired up.
Down to one ?😅
As someone who enjoys ultra-Premium cigars, I love the La Aroma de Cuba. What a fabulous, yet affordable, cigar. Cheers!
Mazz it was great meeting You and the other guys behind the counter Friday (6-28-24), You called Me Tennessee. Faccia I hope You caught plenty of fish. Y’all run an awesome store and are fun and helpful on the videos. Thanks for all the
information.
Great meeting you! 👊🏽
I've been thinking about driving up from Kentucky. Their humidor looks like it could easily suck the life out of my wallet.
@@MrZenigame they have 2 locations, I went to both. The downtown location is nice too, but the traffic 😵💫. The bigger one has a huge lounge, I just didn’t have time to smoke a cigar and enjoy it like I wanted.
@Eijor_Pip Oh yeah, I could imagine that Philly traffic is a thing of nightmares. That's awesome you got to visit both. I bet the selection was top-notch!
Love the Lot 23. Always pleased with it, and the price is great.
That suit Micali is wearing is fire....
Anthony's Socks❤️🔥
How do you clean your suits?
Thanks for just being nice! Your voices are calming. The background music is a bit distracting.
Oliva G Maduro for SURE! Could not agree more. I love the Oliva V Maduro, but it’s a lot more full bodied.
Great video! New cigar smokers my advice just explore that’s the best part! Don’t over think it you will dial in your tastes
think the Undercrown Maduro would fall into this category as well. That was my first maduro period when I got on this hobby.
Great insight. 100% accurate. Five fantastic examples
Started my journey a few months ago with an Arturo Fuente Hemingway. I found your channel and really enjoy the content. I am sitting here smoking the Ashton Aged Maduro #50 for the first time. This cigar is gonna go down as one of my all time favorites. Thank you for all of the advice you gentlemen provide.
Glad to hear it, thanks for watching!
Man it’s like you read my mind dropping this video lol. Love your content man always watch it when I want a good opinion or recommendation for some sticks
Thanks, guys! Informative and entertaining as always. Y'all are looking super tan and sharp in your cool suits!
The Rocky Patel Sun Grown Maduro introduced me to the maduro cigars and IMO it fills the bill very well.
Wait until you taste the Rocky Patel Sixty
Project 40 by Alec Bradley is my favorite Maduro at the moment! Sweet, smooth, almost no spice, very earthy and chocolaty, long lasting flavor after I’m done smoking. Great with a steak!
That perdomo lot 23 is an awesome cigar. I wish either of the cigar stores in my town carried it. It would be a staple in my humidor if I could get them locally.
Took your suggestion on the lot 23. Loved it!!! Now I’m back for another suggestion! Appreciate your videos. Just ordered some sticks from you guys!
Glad to hear it, thank you for the support Ryan!
I still consider myself new to cigars after about 2.5 years, but definitely can’t go wrong with Macanudo maduro. I’ve tried a few on the list today & definitely enjoyed them too! Keep up the great videos!!!!!
Will do, thanks for watching!
Thanks for this! The first cigar I ever smoked was a Flora De Las Antillas Belicoso cigar. The lady in the shop didn't really know about cigars but I've done a bit of research. This was about 2 weeks ago.
Had about 3 I bought to try. That was the only one I really liked. The spiciness was surprising but was enjoyable. It was grabbed on a whim as many of the other ones you've recommended weren't there.
Will definitely want to try one of these Maduros next! The Nicaraguan tobacco is definitely my speed.
Good Evening 😊 Awesome Top Five👌🏽 Thanks For Sharing 👏🏼 Your Thoughts on The Cigars are Much Appreciated 👍🏼 Have a Wonderful Day 🙏🏽 Greetings From South Africa 🇿🇦
Ashton Aged Maduro is a great cigar. Consistent smoke and great quality. Always in my humidor
As a newbie.. I’ve been hesitant to try maduros.. thanks for the vid to give me a bit of confidence! Going to cross my fingers that just maybe one of these is in the July pack 😊
Another great video! On that note, are you guys going to stay active on the cigars of the month videos??? Haha
1. Ashton Aged Maduro
2. Perdomo Lot 23 Maduro
3. La Aroma De Cuba Original Blend
4. Oliva Serie G
5. Arturo Fuente Hemingway Maduro
Love a good maduro
I’m smoking premium sticks since about 10ish months so still more on the starter side (smoking 1-2 sticks a week)
So far I had the chance to try quite some Cuban sticks BUT a good NW Maduro is what I enjoy way more
My favorites so far are the flor de selva maduro , Oscar valladares maduro , cigar kings wide white, foundation Olmec maduro and the oliva maduro as a lancero 🤤🔥
Also Budget wise the brick house maduro is a banger
The perdomo lot 23 has become a favorite of mine
The Hemingway short story is my favorite weeknight smoke/ overall go to cigar . On a Sunday afternoon I’ll smoke a nice Padron or a davidoff but for a nice quick retreat to the porch on a Wednesday night after a long day at work , you can’t beat the Hemingway.
Love these review and suggestion videos! Keep them coming!
I was shopping on your website today looking for the Fuente Hemingway Maduro and it’s out of stock. Do you know possibly when you guys will get it in stock again?
Another great video! My first maduro was the Ashton No. 10. Such a great cigar. I always offer them to inexperienced smokers to rave reviews.
Nice choices to pick from
Another great video thanks for sharing guys!
Excellent selection of maduros 👌🏼
My local shop has their own maduro blend hand rolled cigars. Very sweet and smooth
Awesome! We also have factory specials that come in maduro, sungrown and natural wrappers 😉
Hey thanks for all you guys do
Great advice about new smokers trying to branch out from flavored cigars.... because that's exactly how it happened to me lol. The first cigars I really began to enjoy were flavored/infused. I didn't really know what I was doing but they were good enough for me to finally enjoy a cigar. And nowadays, mild to medium-plus-bodied Maduros are most of what I've been smoking as I'm trying to broaden horizons in this new hobby of mine. The Ashton Aged Maduro and Padron 3000 Maduro have been my highlights so far. And now each of these recommendations is on my short list of sticks to try next.
Thanks for the video guys.
Thanks for sharing!
Ashton Aged Maduro is my go to for mild Maduro. It is consistent, high quality and not outrageously priced for the quality you get.
Some good stuff here!
Could yall do a video covering different strains or types of tobacco? Im curious why some cigars are dark and why some are lighter. Love the videos
Love the perdomo
You have to try the Flor de Copan Maduro, really a amazing, unique stick !
I love it,even the natural is not too mild for me.
New to cigars. For me right now, it's the Oliva G maduro perfecta. If the wind is blowing in the right direction, I get really deep cocoa notes from that one. It's become a staple in the humidor. The AF Double Chateau maduro is another that I really enjoy. I personally find the Lot 23 a bit heady - nice smoke, but I have a hard time doing the toro in one sitting. I think that cigar is my upper limit at the moment, but there's plenty to try in the meantime.
I hope we get some of these in this months subscription 🤞🏿🤞🏿🤞🏿🤞🏿
Woow I just checked y'all's website for the Hemingway Maduro and man it is out stock all them 😮
All of those are what a maduro should be. Those are my kind of maduro. Great choices
Glad you agree 🙌
Great video Very informative Tried the Oliva g and it was awesome Keep up the great work work
Great sticks! Need 3 fingers of Weller reserve. Good vid guys
Great video topic!
How about a video on Habano wrappers. I am new to cigars as well and have only tried a Lot 23 Habano, so would love a video on other brands you guys recommend and like as well. Love the videos guys.
The Serie G Maduro is just about my favorite Oliva.
Just smoked my first maduro today had the blackened 81 maduro to the core
Great video
Love these keep all as go tos
nice suits, so classic
Do you have these 5 as a Sampler? I would buy it.
I’ll see what I can do
@@gabrielbensusen7038 that would be cool.
I have found and ordered 4 of the 5 from your site. They were delivered yesterday.
But I still think a sampler would be a good idea. 👍🏽
The Fuente and la aroma r the best I’ve had
The Davidoff Late Hour is a nice mild maduro.
great content...cheers 🍷
Alec Bradley Magic Toast and AJ Fernandez New World Gobernador Toro could also be on the list. Sweet creamy wrappers. Black Iced coffee and either stick and it's a great time.
Lot 23 is about the biggest bang for the buck you can get in my opinion. Same for the La Aroma de Cuba
Lot 23 not available in my location, but agree 100% on La Aroma de Cuba👍🏻
Haven't had the Ashton but the la aroma original takes the cake in this line up. Amazing stick! I have liked some of the perdomo lot 23s I've smoked but had one last night and it was meh. Sadly. Put it down half way through because it just wasn't worth sticking with.
Pretty sure the Oliva G Maduro is San Andreas. Great vid as always though.
You are correct. Our mistake 😅See, even the cigar “experts” get it wrong once in a while lol
@@anthonymazzola4470 it’s a lot to keep straight. All good though, you guys have taught me more about cigars than you’ll ever forget about cigars.
That's weird. A lot of other reviews and sites point to a Cameroon wrapper.
@@dreamofmirrors the natural is Cameroon
@@bryanmoros5890 Right! Thanks!
Drew Estate tabak especial oscuro in either Corona or rubusto format paired with a premium cola.Thank me later.
Please make a sampler of these 5!
Do you offer this as a sampler 5 pack?
Love the lot 23
ONYX is a great underrated maduro smoke good price 2
Should now do the opposite on best strong maduros
What torch are you guys using at the start of the video?
Visol Piccolo Torch Lighter
Is there a difference between a tobacconist vs a tobacco store that also sells hukhas etc.
My kind of episode 👍
Do you have a “short and chubby” episode?
Look up our video "Best Short Cigars" 👊
BOTB maduro > PADRON 1926 80th anniversary Maduro perfecto 💯🔥
Why am I suddenly thinking about the Anthill Mob from Wacky Races?
Sometimes when I cut or punch my cigar it’s dry. The wrapper peels a bit but the rest of the cigar appears good.. It burns and tastes fine. Thoughts?
Sounds like that may be a cutter issue and not a humidity issue. Your cutters blades may be dull. Check out our short "New cigar vs. DULL cutter 👀"
@@holtscigars that’s exactly what happens! Thx and keep the videos coming!
💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
We can't get any of those in the UK 😕
The Olivas are widely available in UK.
@@paulie6446 Not that particular one. They also cost considerably more in the UK. 😕
@@orvillefindley8117 tell me about it 💷🔥
@@orvillefindley8117 we have everything by Oliva here in Belfast.
What kind of spirits would you take while smoking these cigars?
A rye whiskey would work well. Redbreast or Spot series Irish whiskey would also work
I would call most of these mediums not milds
Always the same brands
