All these videos popping up in my timeline…. RIP Ken, you’ll be missed for sure ❤️
RS200 and a Cosworth Escort. This man has taste!
Escort Cosworth*
Sarah Dell not to mention a certain awd 60s model mustang
Cool as Ice if you think either of those cars are gay, go buy a Prius and never call yourself a car guy.
Right
Agreed. Damn I wish I had the money for cars like that. Especially the good ol' cossie.
RS200, its the only reason I watched the video.
#ThisShitRightHere
Same!
Christian Buczko same lol
Same
Ditto
Im just gunna watch ken block videos day and night now remembering him 💔
Love you big dawg. You’ll be missed. Just hope you knew how many people you inspired. A true hero of my childhood

Thanks guys
Copped the hat 👍 Wish you guys would’ve had more sizes on the shirts but still dope nonetheless
TheHoonigans If Ken is interested in buying more of this type of shit hmu, I know a guy who's trying to unload all his production Group B cars and if Ken thinks that RS200 is cool it ain't shit in a race against the rest of the Group B Rally Monsters. The collection is out of state but damn close to you guys.
I'd take the RS200 in a heartbeat. I love the Porsche but that RS200 is just too cool
I still have the framed RS200 2 page advert from the 80's debut on my wall. That beast us still a head turner and a heart stopper. RS200 without a doubt.
Shame that L. Dooran has one and keep crushing it.. I hope Ken will do some amazing things with this maybe a Gymkhana..?That would be Epic ! ;0) and if the Porsche model would be 959 that would be much better rival for the Ford RS 200 because is also a pretty rare beast and the 959 it actually won the Safari Rally back in the Group-B era.. it would be a much more difficult challenge to choose from those, but all are indeed beautiful beasts.. ;0)
You can buy the Rallycar Replica Evo200 kit for 15,000 Quid full option and can ask for the original chassis so you can 100% accurate build.
They seem like a cool bunch of car nuts to hang out with! I've always liked Ken but after learning that the RS200 is his dream car and the justice he's done customising it so tastefully has made me respect the man even more.
God every video posted, every race I see ken in, every shenanigan i see I fall more in love this company. I’d give my heart and soul to work there as even a janitor. I’d gladly give up any marketable skill I currently have and and give up anything I have, even live out of my car just to have this dream job. Y’all keep living the dream I’ll have to be satisfied with living vicariously through these hoons. Thanks for the inspiration
I'm a sucker for 90s sitcom references. You should have a Tool Time segment with Kikawa as Al.
I can picture kikawa being the guy next door behind the fence. "Howdy ho scumbags"
The Stratatigerizer lmmfao 😂😂😂
Didn't even peer pressure him into a burnout
both these cars have way to much grip to do a proper burn out they likely don't want to have to fix their cars there is a video of them trying to get the rwb to do a burn out and all it wanted to do was grip i would imagine a all wheel drive rs200 would likely have the same problem.
The rs200 evo is all wheel drive so no burnouts unless you tie it to a wall, and scotto tried to do a burnout in the rwb but couldn't get the rear wheels to break traction
i think its worth too much to do that lol
hes the boss man, you can't haggle you can beg
Can't scumbag the head scumbag
Anyone interested in the group B story . Watch the movie Too Fast to Race. Epic watch and show how mad they were back then.
You will understand why Ken is a mad fan of the era
Scotto is lowkey crying in the comment section because everyone prefers the RS200
rs 200
@paperchasin23 why is he a pusso he has worked hard and now he is living his life. Thats the problem of people like you they don't indulge people who have worked hard for they dreams.
Nah ide rather have 911.
Id like it in the blue and white that it was before
@@Aasensm nah, Glomma Papp like it was known for
honestly the mention of the audi s1 had me slam the like button, the car is amazing and i actually like the fridge look lol
Great video, but there are a couple of errors/corrections:
- The 2.4L engine was not part of the "Evo Upgrade". The Evo was only a 2.1. This car (which I believe is chassis #80) has a 2.4L engine which was supposedly built by Martin Schanche (go look him up if you don't know who he is: the man showed what the RS200 was capable of in rallycross!).
- The RS200 was not the first car of the Group B era designed from the ground up as a rally car: the Lancia 037 came before it.
And in answer to your final question, the RS200 has been my dream car for many years, so RS200 all the way!
In 1986 at The ford Dagenham factory they had a RS200 on a stand, I remember because I went carol singing in the canteen at the age of 6.
Ive loved them since them.
Rs200 any time, any day. Ford fan all the way. Don't care about all the recalls on F150s or whatever. Thanks for all the videos
RS200 being from the UK and now old, I remember seeing them on the road over here. A friend of mine in later years had one he street raced that I was luck enough to go in with him a few times. They are still to this day an amazing car, even though as you say its a parts bin special for things like rear lights interior, etc. Dream car without doubt.
5:44 I used to have a 1991 Toyota MR2 Turbo, and I know it didn't have close to the power or anything of the Hoonigan RS200, but it was really cool when the turbocharger would spool up, because it was right behind you in the cabin. This part of the video reminded me of that.
RS200 all FUCKING day.
Any day, every day, all fucking day long!!
Well that's a tough one Rs200 and Hert!!!Cause Hert=My spirit animal!!😘Ken and Brian are legit humble and chill with all they have!!
Between these two cars?
There’s only one answer...
Both!!!🥂
CHEATER!! I also love my wife and girlfriend equally :/
When Ken was like "I think I've explained this yes,"
I died, lost it!!! That RS2 is siiick nuts
Fell in love with the RS200 as a teenager, when I sat in one in a Ford dealership in Inverness. Defo the Loch Ness Monster.
I remember growing up and hearing it did 0 to 60 in two seconds😎
ill take the rs200
Can't Ken Block do Gymkhana videos with his Escort RS Cosworth and another with his RS200?
supremefantastic wait for gymkhana 10 I guess
rs200 is his lovely street legal car. if i were him, i wouldnt do it. unless he get another or track ready rs200 :))
they need to start an even where they travel major cities shut down roads and go drifting
need to start making more money!
Criss Sa That's actually not a bad idea
Only if they weren't worth so much money he probably would.
Love the British style plates on this, and i think it's great being a Brit to see a British developed car. In the US and being loved and used and abused
I had the pleasure of being a passenger in a RS200 in 1984/5 , it was one of my most memorable rides, over the next few years i owned a MK2 Escort RS2000, MK 4 Escort RS Turbo, Sierra RS Cosworth 4x4 and a Escort RS Cosworth, The Fast Fords of that era were amazing,
"You guys are wearing the same hat"
Scotto looks down at his pants
fml im 6'3 and I thought I was tall. Scotto out here entering the wrestling ring over the 3rd rope being 6'8
I'm 6'6" and there are lots of cars I can't even get into at all. Surprisingly a miata isnt one of them
I as well, but having owned a 911, there's plenty of room. Especially the newer ones. When I valeted, I saw a 6'8" tall basketball player emerge from one. Unique moment.
Impossible to choose since both are dream cars. Porsche is amazing . And playing forza the RS200 IS LETHAL lmao. You guys are the sickest and the coolest
You just need to get a garage big enough to fit both the cars...
@@TheHoonigans I dont need a garage for those cars. I honestly just need to walk thru a real garage like your guys and touch dream cars. Hear the real horse power. Feel it in the soul while tires melt on pavement. Nothing better than a fully functioning team in a garage that makes miraculous vehicles do ultimate damage to the ground. Your videos are always epic and all you guys kill it. Ken block is an idol. A real warrior on the road/dirt. Meeting him and your team is a dream. Thanks y'all
RS200. And beautiful montage to Tim Allen. I was a kid who went to car shows and enjoyed hanging out with my family. Then I met "The Tool Man" and I too, became obsessed with all things requiring an octane rating lol
So cool to see an RS200 being appreciated! Iconic cars... I've seen a couple at RS owners club meets here in the UK, needless to say - the owners look after them.
What? No space race?
If I had to choose it wood be vin be cuss herts to much work
IKR, too busy talking... lol worst 2 people that love the sound of their own voice
when is hoonigan going to host a Drift event around california or the country at that. you have L.A area Sacramento area Bay area three areas where going sideways is an everyday thing lol million + bring this to meeeeeeeee
Scotto space races himself at the end...
Glad to see you escaped from your hole
If it were an RS200 versus 959 it would be close, but since that's not the case, it isn't ..
Group B to the Bone!
werd
R.I.P Ken Block 😢🕊
RIP Ken 2 legends you and the RS200.
That rs200 looks amazing simple but elegant. Very underrated car.
The RS200 is nice,...but for me the real deal was the monster LANCIA S4
037 Stradale all the way.... (My dream car)
You are forgetting one...
The Audi Quattro S1
@@MimicGriphon 037, the last car to win a WRC title
Oh yes that was my favourite rally car of that time, and so beautiful too.
@@LoogiBalloogi YES! YOU HAVE GOOD TASTE!
I'll take the RS200 all day not just because I'm a Ford guy but because most car shows and car meets have dozens of Porsches lol
I like the rs200 a lot too but your comment is just the same as saying there's dozens of fords at a car show.
Anyone who calls themselves a Ford guy definitely likes things up their butt
@@SenorEmborracho and dudes fucking their wives
@@SenorEmborracho damm
the wing on the porsche is so absurd lol i love it
My Dad brought the prototype RS200 home from work one night when it was his turn to put miles on it. he came in and said "hey Son, come and see what I have on the driveway.." then we went for a drive :) a year or two earlier he did the same with the 17T prototype. (the lead engineer wrapped that 17T round a truck the following day)
Fun fact: This exact RS200 was used by Martin Iversen in Rallycross. And it’s not a real Evo since when Jan Arthur Iversen “the father of Martin iversen” bought ours and this RS200, both of them were dismantled due to ford needing spare parts. And when iversen bought them he said he wanted that engine, that gearbox, that diff, and that front diff. And both of the cars didn’t have a chassis nr, and when he bought them, they got the chassis #080 “this one” and chassis #222 which is ours😉 and yes this one is our sister car due to both of them being identical “before being ‘Restored’ to road spec, while ours is still like it was in 1993”
Normally I'd go Porsche here, but that rs200 is too nice.
I'd rather have the rs200 if I had the choice of the 2...the Porsche is nice but I feel it'll be easier to find one since I've seen a few (not this exact one but ehh) but I've never seen a rs on the streets
muere karate
The porsche is a rare but still production model with mods. The RS is one of 24 made.
my 2 favorite cars from that era is that ford and the lancia delta s4
Ethan delta s4, rs200, quatro s1 evolution and 205 T16 for me👌
play forza horizon 3?
Even though I'm daily driving a P71 Crown Vic Right now I am not a Ford guy, I've had a lifelong obsession with porsches so I would definitely go for the 911/930... That being said, the RS 200 is a legend.
I'm 39 years old and still collect die cast cars I have a matchbox version of the RS 200 in absolutely perfect shape, I got it when I was probably 10 years old.
I've always thought of the RS 200 As an example of what would happen if a cause worth escort Hooked up with a Lancia Stratos.
5:50 Words of a true car guy. we need more men like ken block to allow enthusiast culture in our youth.
that rs200 is SICK
YESS!! FINALLY!!!!! AN RS200!!!
U guys need to come to New Zealand some time. That would be sick🤘🤘
Route66_ Jesse Totally agree!!!
Yooooo that would be gangsta
Why so they can hang with all the RFBs
We can show them what real shit cars are!
Street legal imports, yeeey.
Ken now has a soft spot in my heart. I had respect for him before - but he is the ONLY famous person who even acknowledged the RS200, let alone had passion for it. It was my first favorite matchbox car.
Rs200 all day. Fell in love with it when I randomly bought it in gran turismo 2
RS200. Porsches are cool but they all look similar and are nowhere near as rare as the RS
That was my first thought as well.... Buuuuut, that particular porsche is rare also
Keegan Johnson wow The RS 200
Keegan Johnson you right,you right
The RWB Porches are super rare as well, today they sell for well over $150,000 I think RS200's sell for a little more. The evo model is probably A LOT more that both of them
I think the Porsche 959 would be a better match for the Ford RS 200 .. that was actually won the Safari Rally back in the old days of rally of Group-B.. ;0)
How does Ken have every god damn car I dream about!!!
$$$$$$
He mostly has fords.
if Ken is 6'1" HOW TALL IS SCOTTO?
There's a reason El Gigante fits in nearly no car
Matthew Muhlberg I was immediately thinking the same thing when he said 6'1".He looks like he towers over Ken in this video.wtf?
Brian is like 6'4" or something, maybe even more, lol.
6'8"
Matthew Muhlberg 6'8
The RS200 is an absolute savage animal of a machine. My grandfather got to see that thing race group B in person and he said it was like watching a wild animal.
Wild animal is 100% accurate.
The RS200 has been my dream car since I was a kid.
I miss home improvement
It's current;ly streaming on HULU, brings back a lot of good TV show memories.
the lancia stratos was the first purpose built rally car.
Renault Alpine beat the Stratos.
@@nzKnut
Hows that?
Yes the alpine won Monte Carlo but on the following season the stratos kicked some major ass.
Including the renaults
@@silviosantapaola2825 All you said was "first purpose built rally car". I'm saying you're wrong, the Alpine was.
nzKnut
I 'm not sure about that.
Though I am sure that the renault apline a110 was a great sportscar.
that just happened to perform on snow and gravel.
therefore being used on said surfaces.
Cheers
Statement should be corrected, not because people were dying, but because moronic spectators that had absolutely no respect for their own lives let alone those of the drivers and co-pilots, jumped in front of the cars to touch them. IT TAKES a special kind of brain damaged, fart bag, to sit in front of a car going at you at speeds that kill you with a side blow. ONE reason i respect Isle de Man TT spectators for. Not only is it one of the last true races in the world, but it's also spectated by people who understand that they should sit behind the damned cordoned line.
Never forget that the reason Groupe B was butchered systematically until it died, were assholes. Never.
aserta partly because of that sure but even after group b stopped you still have spectators in the road. It was Henri Toivonen's death the really ended group B
Group B was getting too dangerous.
The Argentine driver that crashed into the crowd of people was literally given the car before the race.
He had no practice at all.
His manager just got the car from Ford and handed the keys over to the driver.
A lot of drivers were struggling with the large power increases in such a short time.
The cars went from 150 bhp upto 500 bhp in a short matter of time..
It was a crash waiting to happen.
But lack of common sense of the people sitting on a corner.
Two race drivers died after the Argentinean driver. And then the major sponsors backed out and funding pulled..
aserta It wasn't just the spectators, they were part of the problem, yes, but by 86 the cars were seen as too dangerous, so Toivonen was the last drop that filled the glass.
Today it's easy to call the spectators morons and they obviously weren't thinking at all, but you forget that rally was huge back then, there was the rally madness. If you haven't been there I guess you would not understand. Of course rally organization isn't without having part of the fault too, it's not that they couldn't improve as they did later, don't you agree?
It wasn’t the spectators that were in danger and dying it was more the drivers bruh it was the death of 2 drivers that led to it being shut down
The RS200 is gorgeous 😍 someone needs to make a kit RS200!
www.rallyreplica.co.uk/
RS200 dude, I recently found the car and thought it was awesome. But then I found out how rare they are and started crying.
*ANOTHER GREAT VID*
The rs200... Ford’s best car imo
Kinda look like an Autozam
“Sees Ken Block in title”
*clicks instantly*
My favorite car in Forza! Thank you Hoonigan, a new fan here!
Ha! I loved that fast fact about square headlights but was totally bugging when they said "went from round to square" and thought they made a mistake because I was around when you'd go to a parts store and had shelves full of nothing but square headlights that were interchangeable between like almost any car. THEN when the Porsche Boxter concept came out and that thing had ROUND headlights everyone lost their mind and after that lots of manufacturers started going with organic shaped lights. Totally didn't realize that round to square tidbit even though its super obvious now that I think bout it. Good stuff.
Rs 200 because the handling and look
Rs200 all day. No compromise motorsport legend vs a modified Vw Beatle
I love this comment so much! LOL!
#BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!! #ThisShitRightHere
RS200 every time
Ken block you have the best taste in cars....every over 40yr old english male that loves rally ,wants this car..and the cossie..
RS200 is one of my favourite cars of all time!
Homologation - that's why we _had_ cool cars. Homologation stopped a long time ago :'(
No they still homoligate care now
Why do you think we don’t have cool cars anymore

There grip cars
yeah Harry Balzak Ph.D. how do you have a ph.d if you dont automatically know a RS200 rally car is awd?

The Best Bmx if im wrong correct me but the lancia stratos is rwd
That RS 200 is so beautiful. So beautiful…
That RS200 is a dream it just looks so unique and no wasted design.
Forza 4 brought me here.
RS200 has top trump. Race car heritage. I like a Porsche, but it hasn't got the exclusive (fairly bonkers) factor.
Music: Free rap instrumental - stop and stare
You're welcome ;)
Fake and Gay. It's darude sandstorm...... Is that peter mercer?
The 930 all day long. Rarety is cool but I'm a Porsche fan!
Crip' Life I’m a Porsche guy and owner as well, but I just can’t get into those. Waaaaay too out there and hate the riveted on fenders, etc. give me a Singer or 997.2 GTR RS 4.0 any day!!!
The Porsche is a Porsche... the RS is BEAST... its a group B homologation... it's different... it just wins. I was really surprised to find out Ken holds in such high esteem but I respect him all the more for it.
I know it’s focused on the RS but god I love Scotto’s Porsche!❤️❤️❤️
The dash and the tail lights are from a same-year sierra?
The dash isn't from the Sierra. The tail lights, door handles, door panel design (maybe the whole door), Windscreen, opening lever for the rear and a lots of other things are from a same year sierra.
The dash is not, the blinker stalks and such are actually from the sierra though, the doors are entirely from a Sierra too, and the tail lights are definitely.
Sorta looks like the windows wiper assembly is off of a Sierra too, along with the little grill around them, possibly the entire windshield?
Source: I drive a shit sierra, not a cosworth tho.
Yes, te entire windshield and the whole shape of the windshield frame.
DEAN IS HERE very nice!
Sold my 2000e sierra recently for the same money cossies were making 5/7 years ago, crazy!
RIP TO KEN BLOCKS RS200!
For the people that dont know he just wrecked it over he weekend and it caught fire and its toast. Hopefully you can find another one ken block!
not his RS 200, it was an escort cosworth.

Always had a deep love for the rs200 fords proper response to Subaru and Mitsubishi
Read up on your groupB rally bro. Nothing to do with Subaru and Mitsubishi. More like Lancia and Audi
@Hert my FC is running an REW motor, with FC front cover and FC OMP (2-stroke aeromotive block feed from an external reservoir), full gilmer drive belt and pully setup, with a V-belt front adaptor (not uncommon as they were intended for FC owners needing to retain power steering). I have however completely deleted PS pump, and have fitted in place rare factory low mount bracket only ever released poverty model non-turbo FCs that had a manual steering rack....AND which were optioned with AIR CON! Power steering will be delivered via an Opel Astra hydroelectric power steering pump already fitted up hidden behind the front fender. I'm using the spare V-belt adaptor on the gilmer drive to run my AIR CONDITIONING!!!
Id take the rs. No contest
Forgot to mention that the RS200 is basically THE car that ended group B when Joaquim Santos lost control of his RS200 and careened into a wall of spectators ki
Luke Wheeler Yeah right, cause the bad safety organization had nothing to do with it? Toivonen's death was the last drop in that glass and he drove a S4.
Luke Wheeler rip everyone then
Has to be the rs200
Group B was total insanity, both the cars, Mid Engined fire-breathing, huge power, AWD and the fans, that stood in the road, moving at the last moment so that they could touch the car as it passed by. My favourite would be the Audi S1 or the Lancia 037.
Im born in 86 and that ford is my dream car .sorry drooled on my phone a bit
The real Evo was the Lancia Integrale Evo
But the Integrale was not a Gr.B car. It was a later Gr.A car. first 8valve, then 16valve , then the evolution models
Gr.B Lancia's were Stratos, 037 and Delta S4
respect
the rs 200 evo predates the Lancia integrale evo by 10 years so the RS 200 evo is the true EVO
no burnout fix? did i miss something?
Adams World toyo proxes, awd, mid engined and 1 of 24 in the world is a hell of a recipe for burnouts.
its a group B rally car 4WD
Magnussen's Balls that is car #34 of 200 made
I'm too drunk to taste this chicken It’s actually #80 and not an EVO. It was sold in Norway to Ken Block and it was just restored when he bought it. I think the reason why he refers to it as #34 and not #80 is because there’s another RS200 in Norway with the exact same chassi number
I still don't understand how Tim Taylor got an engine removed from a car, torn down, spiffed up, and back up and running in 2 days! It was in the first season, too.
I think someone said he was 6' 6" in a previous video
Jordan Lopez hahahah atleast you tried bro, atleast you tried... 💪
Jordan Lopez Tf are you talkin bout?
Man finally someone else who’s favourite car is the RS200 I thought I was literally the only one! Everyone I talk too who loves rallying goes for Audi S1 or 205T16
RS200 all the way. need more content on that car, build and driving.
