BoDuke2 the original i mean we have more flowing traffic and roundabouts, so less stop signs / traffic lights and cross roads. But America was built using a more practical grid system. Whereas our towns naturally sprung up so nothing is on a grid system.

Banned for being 'too fast' and too dangerous, with the pace of development rivaling that of Grand Prix of the time. Had me sold. I was always into the RS200, Delta S4 and 037 homologation models. Hell, I wouldn't kick any of the Group B homologation models out of my garage!

Love this car! I remember when it was unveiled in Belfast in the 80's. I even had a set of RS 200 wheels, which I picked up from the scrap yard, on my Ford escort....definitely made it look faster...but sadly they didn't improve its 76bhp 😄 Great video! 🤘
Stunning machine. I was lucky enough to see a fair few of these as a kid in the UK in the 1980s (used to attend lots of rally events). Also love the Metro 6R4 (got to sit in one with Derek Bell on my first ever rally), and of course the Delta. Somewhere I have a few grainy photos of an Alfa (can't remember the model) that had a Ferrari lump where the rear seats should have been. Good times.
I was born and raised just down the road from Graham Hathaway Racing at Hook Farm Nursery in Essex England. The group B monsters would be test driven all day long on Mundon Road and Fambridge Road. Wicked era. Great memories. I think Graham is still there. We had Mountune Race Engines, Graham Hathaway Racing and Terry Hoyle Ferrari in the same small Essex township. Was awesome!!

I tried this car out for the first time yesterday in dirt rally 2.0 and the pops when redlining nearly made me climax not gonna lie. Very cool, beautiful, and fast car. I love the name of it even.
I didnt know Americans were aware of group B rally let alone an RS200! It's got an American Ford badge on the front but this car was a British creation a true Anglo-American lol. I absolutely loved these cars and have since I was young! Great choice Ken! You really know how to throw these really classics about! 👍
I’m 5’9” I fit perfectly in corvettes my head is right where it needs to be below the roof but above the steering wheel arms reach away is perfect aswell I wish I had an extra inch or so but not much more less than 6’ is ideal for most daily conditions
Around that time (87-90) one of the over-night stops on the RAC Rally was here in Liverpool, Albert dock and someone stole an R.S.500 and went ram-raiding!! The R.A.C. Rally hasn't been back since :-)
I can see in Ken's face he's feeling the car. I like taking my shoes off and feeling the machine too. When I drove a Kenworth cross country for the first time the clutch on those were deep. I just learned faster without shoes.

Such a capable motor, 500hp was doable.
@@EvoCarl The road version had 220bhp but the rally/touring car version was 500 horses.
Around that time (87-90) one of the over-night stops on the RAC Rally was here in Liverpool, Albert dock and someone stole an R.S.500 and went ram-raiding!! The R.A.C. Rally hasn't been back since :-)
Barry Caldwell really depends which year of Touring cars it was, early ones more in the high 400’s with Rouses later on well into the 500’s :)

I can see in Ken's face he's feeling the car. I like taking my shoes off and feeling the machine too. When I drove a Kenworth cross country for the first time the clutch on those were deep. I just learned faster without shoes.
